FIFTY PAGES?!!! XD
I wish I had that much luck, as it is I'm behind... I'm currently at 3 pages.
I'm not even out of the first paragraph I'm adapting yet! That's ok though because after this section it should flow more smoothly... til I get to the first battle that is...
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
I'm starting extremely late, I'm only beginning tonight. I probably won't make it; I've got a ton of assignments for school, but it'll be fun trying. I've never written a movie script before, so yay for new experiences.
@Lucy, I'm doing the same thing. 4 pages a day and none on Sundays. I have to have at least one day to relax my mind, otherwise I find myself really tense. I also have the same problem: looking at it as something that has to be done and get it over with. Kinda like homework. So I struggle to start, but after the first few sentences, and just fall into the stories world and I really have a lot of fun with my characters.
So far it's taking me about 45 to an hour to write, which really isn't bad.

I'm going to try to do a few extra pages today( did everyone see the '3o by Friday' thing on the Screnzy site?). I'm just kidding about the 50. But I did sort of think I'd be way ahead by now...I'm dreading doing it for today (I haven't yet) and yet I must...and I am disappointed in myself because it seems SO easy to get 4 pages done a day, and yet...*sigh* Alas, maybe I should cut to the chase and get this story going! RIGHT NOW!!
*edit* Yeah, they're DONE and I had fun!! Maybe time for some more! WE CAN DO THIS!

I saw the "30 by Friday" challenge...and by my calculations, I knew I would be on the 29th page on Friday. I was not planning on accepting the challenge until I wrote six pages today! I surprised myself.
Well, with 27 pages written, I have passed the 25% mark, and so many scenes are filling my head I'm not sure I have room enough for them all. Inspiration is better than chocolate or coffee.
How are all the other Screnziers doing?
@ Lucy, what is your name on the site? I friended a "Wonder Writer", wasn't sure that was you, though.

It was me. I just friended you.
I have thirty pages. The update page count thing really motivates me!!
So how is everyone doing in terms of story? I see that I made my character a little bit...too cry-babyish, perhaps. We will see. But now I get to make her grow up, and the first calamity is about to occur. So that should be exciting to write.

I still have 3, but that's not suprising given how busy this week was!
Of course this weekend is shaping up to be pretty busy as well... maybe I'll at least make it halfway...

Don't worry, wolf! Kudos for even starting, knowing how busy you would be! Don't get discouraged; do what you can. And remember that you have a long task ahead of you by doing the whole series- a project that can very reasonably extend well past Screnzy, so keep at it! If you keep doing a little bit at a time, you will finish one day; if you stop, it's over. So keep doing what you can, and have fun!

Well...after three whole days of being down, the Screnzy site is finally back up and running. Yay!
In other news, I am nearly finished with my 100 pages, but somehow I seemed to have added too many scenes, and I'm still stuck in Act II. I'm very nearly out of it though. And I fear my conclusion is going to be short as usual. So hopefully I won't go over 110 pages, and I'll just have to cut out only 5 scenes instead of more...
Happy Easter!

I have finished! It is such a joy and relief.
For those who are behind, remember what was said today in the Screnzy pep talk email: Every page you write is one more than you would have.

This is my fourth year to try Script Frenzy, and the best year yet: I haven't fallen behind yet. It's my first try at having the story almost entirely plotted out ahead of time, which has been a lot of help.
My main worry is, I still don't have my ending figured out, and it's getting harder and harder to keep writing.
Congrats to those who've finished already!
Well, today's the last day. Anyone giving that last push to meet the goal?

I won Script Frenzy with my good friend on the 25th, with a total of 108 pages. It was a great journey, and I'm so glad I decided to do SF this year. At first I wasn't sure if I could handle it, but it was an amazing experience. I love screen writing!
We decided to free-style, and ended up with a pretty good plot - at least better than I thought it would be. It's not the best story I've ever written, but at least I had fun with it. And the best part? There's going to be a sequel!
You can read the story and view the trailer that I made on my blog here.
Congrats to those who have finished already, and if you haven't - keep going! You can do it!

Congrats, Mountie! (and all our other winners!)
I was a miserable failure...with everything else going on this month, I reverted to the old familiar mode of writing a story, and came up with about 25k in a sequel to last year's NaNo story. I guess that makes me a "Rebel" in OLL terms.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
The site already reads "335 days until Script Frenzy". No, not again! Not yet!
