@stateofgreen: I saw Source Code last week.
I thought it was really good! :)
I also had a hard time wrapping my head around the ending.
I thought it was funny that I understood Inception the first time I saw it, but am having trouble figuring out Source Code. :p
I thought Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job! :)
BTW if anyone can figure out a theory about the ending please let me know what you think. ;)

I saw The Adjustment Bureau two weeks ago, which I have to say was a pretty good movie. Rather Inception-like in most of it's development! I was very disappointed with the ending however. It seemed to me that the writers/directors wanted that ending no matter what. It felt rather too predictable. But a very good movie nevetheless. :)

I loved Inception. I had to see it at least three times so I could figure it out. It was pretty confusing.

I saw Source Code this weekend, and liked it more than I did The Adjustment Bureau (which was enjoyable enough; it had an interesting concept but struck me as too predictable).

Source Code was reminiscent of Inception - a complex plot with lots of action - and I think that in general fans of the earlier movie will enjoy this one. I knew going in that the main plot concept was similar - to me at least - to a TV episode

Spoiler
from Star Trek: The Next Generation called "Cause and Effect," in which the Enterprise is caught in a time loop in which it repeatedly explodes. Each time the crew goes through the loop - though they don't know they're stuck - they learn a little more.

Souce Code is a little different in that

Spoiler
the effect is specifically stated not to be time travel.

As to the end, 7chronicles,

Spoiler
I think it's hinted at in the middle of the movie when Captain Stevens/Sean asks Goodwin about sending her a message while in the Source Code (the 8 minutes he gets to learn things); she replies to the effect that at best it would be an alternate reality. I think in the end, his actions to save the train create an alternate reality (via the many-worlds concept from quantum mechanics which is also a sci-fi storytelling device) in which he and Christina stay together. In the original world, he is still physically dead.

I think I'll see it again to look for additional details and hints in the early part of the movie, and to test my guess about the ending.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Outlier, I hadn't ever even heard of the movie Hanna before you mentioned it, so I looked up the trailer. Hanna looks very good. My kind of movie. I'll have to check it out when it comes to Australia.

Here's the trailer (it looks like a psychological thriller/action movie)

Doctor Who - Season 11

Hah, I'm hoping to see Hanna sometime this week, too. I keep waiting for one of y'all to review it and no one has! I guess I'll just have to go in blind...It's MY kind of movie, too, Warrior.

Georgiefan, I'm glad you enjoyed Soul Surfer; I wanted to see that one, too.

LOL ChristProclamer, same here.... although it looks a little too intense for me in the theaters (I tend to be the annoying person who screams too often during those movies ) so I'm waiting for a review before I decide to see it on dvd or in theaters ;;)

Also saw Soul Surfer this last weekend. My wife ,and I were both impressed. They did an outstanding job with the special effects for the arm.
From what I read Hamilton herself did the stunt work on the board for the surfing scenes.

Thanks stargazer! That makes much more sense to me. I thought something like that had happened, but couldn't wrap my head around it all.
I think I will understand the ending better now the second time I see it. :)

I just saw DisneyNature's African Cats.
I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. It's the first documentary I see in theaters. It was a pleasant watch, educational and emotional. Well worth a watch. :)
