Has anyone seen Jane Eyre yet? It came into theaters today. I haven't seen it yet. I'm waiting to see if it's good or not. If you've seen it, what did you think of it?

Ithilwen, According to BOM Jane Eyre releases only in 4 locations, platform release, you'd be lucky to find anyone who has seen it.
I dislike when movies do that- although I understand the logic behind it.

Riella,
I am very excited to see Jane Eyre, but am dismayed that it had only a limited release. Hoping it comes to my area soon, so that I can see it! I have read great reviews of it though :)

I want to see Jane Eyre. I hope it is playing at a theatre near me. I will also be seeing "I am number four" with my friend. I'll post my thoughts after I see it.

I saw I Am Number Four yesterday. Very average, bad/dull dialogue, mainly bland characters (especially No.4), incredibly cliche but the last 1/4 was very enjoyable (great action scenes). There are some surprises but for the most part it's a highly-predictable movie. 5/10

Don't bother seeing it.

I saw Adjustment Bureau this afternoon and while I thought the chemistry between Matt Damon and Emily Blunt was good as well as their acting, I felt the plot fell flat and I was left feeling 'blah' at the end of the movie.

I really expected to like it but it was just okay. I never read the short story it's based on, so maybe that will fill in some blanks if I can get hold of it?

I'm putting the rest in spoiler tags to be respectful to those who haven't seen it yet---

My sister watched the black swan and says she doesn't want to see it again. Not that it wasn't good it was just overly strange.

Black Swan is a very good movie- as far as acting and execution of it all. It's also not one I would watch again though. Portman definitely deserved her Oscar though.

I saw The Adjustment Bureau today. Matt Damon and Emily Blunt were terrific together, I absolutely loved their chemistry. The story itself was very intriguing as well. The twist?

Spoiler
I guess it would be that originally they were supposed to end up together, and though plans were later changed they still feel that force pushing them together.

I also give it 8/10.

I saw "I am number four. "I went to the movie just to hang out with a friend not because I really wanted to see it. I didn't really know what it was about going in, and I hadn't read any reviews, but I thought the trailers looked interesting.

Its too bad I didn't see Warrior's review before going to the movie because I agree completely. It wasnt bad really but it wasn't good.
It started out good with the action scene at the start. But when the voice-over came on I knew the movie would have issues.
I found the main characters kind of bland. I only liked the supporting characters (Sam and "number 6.")
The teen romance/angst really bogged down the story. I found myself rolling my eyes at the melodrama. The main character, "John Smith" wants to attend high school? He can only love one person (who of course is the girl he meets at this high school)?! I don't know but if I was

Spoiler
a alien with superpowers
I wouldn't worry about teen crushes and high school...There would be more important things on my miond.
There were plenty of cliches as well (like how John Smith's girlfriend is a lonely photographer...)

My recommendation is to see it on DVD if you have nothing else to watch. Its just a generic teen romance movie with a touch of action and sci-fi.

I saw I Am Number Four on sunday, there are some pretty sappy clichés (think of it as twilight with aliens instead of vampires), but it was overall an enjoyable film, fun to watch and worth seeing.

I also saw Never Say Never a couple of weeks ago, and not being a Justin Bieber fan I walked away pretty surprised. It was actually a really good movie, documented his success story well and was a fun movie to get into (the audience sang along to a couple of the songs, etcetera). I even went back a week later to see the director's cut version, which I actually didn't think was as good of a movie, but it was sort of like watching the extra content that would probably just have been thrown into the blueray. Honestly I haven't been able to stop playing his songs on the guitar since.

I saw Rango on Monday - and was highly disappointing. Frankly, it was one of the worst animated movies I've ever seen, and was not worth the five dollars I payed to go see it. It was hard to understand, had a non-funny, weird sort of humor, and was overall - just dumb. :P The best part about going to see it was laughing about it later with my sister. lol . . .
And I saw Gnomeo and Juliet a few weeks ago. It was somewhat sweet, but yes, one of the worst animated movies I've seen in theatre's lately. Mostly just empty and mindless, but funny and cute in some parts. Definitely better than Rango.

I went to see Beastly and I loved it. There was a great message and I loved how they included the Frank O'hara poem. And the music was excellent!
