I just saw Toy Story 3 and I love it! it's amazing and well done and I think it's the best Toy Story movie and the best PIXAR movie yet! :D

I've seen Eclipse 3 times now, I wanna see it again - I just can't get enough :D For the record, I watched Twilight and New Moon this week finally, they're alright but Eclipse is by far the best one.

I just got back from seeing Toy Story 3 with my brothers and good friends. Great movie! It was both similar to the first two movies and at the same very different. Much more dramatic and darker, more complex and humorous. Still, it may be too intense for the little ones. I'm not sure if I can say at this moment that I prefer this one over Toy Story 2 (I'll have to rewatch it before deciding) but it's certainly better than the first and I highly recommend it.

I just got back from seeing Despicable Me. I thought it was pretty good, not as good as Toy Story 3, but better then a lot of the other animated movies I’ve seen. :)
I went with my four younger cousins who 5-10 years old, and they laughed a lot, which made me laugh even more. :p

I just got home from seeing Predators. I rather liked it, although it's not quite up to par with the fantastic first film, Predator (1987). If you're a fan of the original (and the not quite as good Predator 2) you'll likely enjoy the film. They pay a lot of homage to the first film and they even recycle much of Alan Silvestri's great musical score, although I felt it didn't mesh perfectly with this film.

The premise is that several "warriors" from Earth are mysteriously air-dropped onto a foreign planet. None has any idea how they got there or why they're there and have to rely on their military skills to ensure their survival. Along the way they begin to realize they're being hunted by some mysterious group of aliens...well, you can figure out the rest. The casting was decent; Adrian Brody is the main protaganist, some sort of merc, an IDF sniper (Alice Braga), Danny Trejo as a Mexican drug cartel hitman, and several others. The film is good but lacks the...what's the word? There's a palpable feeling that the protaganist/s in the first two films are way out of their league, and that is present here but it's much more subdued. The actors have decent chemistry with each other, although I liked Braga's character the best. A worthy effort by Robert Rodriguez and he left it wide open for a sequel, which I'll be chomping at the bits to see. :D 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

Well, though the movie doesn't open until Thursday it has had some pre-screenings so it is "current" for many ;)

I just bought my midnight ticket for Inception :D/
Can't wait until Thursday night to see it. Nolan is a recent, (as in past few years), fave of mine.

I just got back from Despicable Me and like Liberty and 7 Chronicles, I laughed throughout most of it. My sister and I both agreed that for pure enjoyment factor, we liked it better than TS3 (*GASP*, I know). TS3 was definitely a better piece of cinema, but Despicable Me had us in stitches the whole time. The plot was so-so and I often felt that the storytelling could be better, but the charm, the character development, the humor was all so heartwarming and funny. It mostly stayed clear of distasteful humor (even the "potty" jokes were somewhat justified with only one instance of total needless crudeness). I laughed way more than I did in TS3 and it had me tearing up at the end.

Steve Carrell was at his comedic best. I was very impressed by his performance.

Edit: My sister made our cat a "Box of Shame." He loves it. ;))

Well, they rhyme.
I've seen Toy Story 3 but not Despicable Me. The trailer looks interesting though. I may see it at the cinema. If not, I'll definitely be hiring it later on.

Saw Toy Story 3 last night and it was really really great! I wasn't expecting it to be good since sequels usually aren't but it was awesome :D . And Ken and Barbie were actually funny and not lame like I thought they would be. I was bawling by the end ;)) .

Well, I saw Despicable Me yesterday and I hate to say it, but I liked it a lot more than Toy Story 3. That's just me though. ;))

EDIT: Of course, as soon as I post I look back and see that Kate has pretty much the exact same opinion as me. *waves at Kate*

I just saw The Sorcerer’s apprentice, they Finally showed the VDT trailer, the last two movies I’ve been to didn’t show it so it was nice to actually see it again. :D :)
As far as the movie goes, I thought it was a descent movie, nothing really special but I thought the special effects were great! :p
If you are in the mood to go see a movie, I think it was good enough to see.
But if you saw the previews and you still weren’t sure if you were going to see it or not, you may want to pass or wait until its on DVD. :)
