lol I still haven't received my second email and it has been 12 hours.
Ilovefauns, I've been waiting all day as well. After reading the latest post from the Pottermore staff (which confirms my previous suspicions), I'm finding myself more patient. Essentially, there's a tremendous amount of people signing up (understandably after the long wait we've had) and because of that, the moderators and site-runners over there are having to load people into the game in batches. However, they seem to be trying to move in "a constant stream" so I imagine most people will be in within the next day or two.

Sorting into a House and being chosen by a wand both work fairly similarly.
Thanks, Booky .
I was hoping to get an acceptance letter at some point in the day. I wonder how many people signed up for accounts today. . . more than 10,000,000 do you think?
At any rate, I'll be heading off to bed soon. . . here's hoping that a letter arrives tomorrow.

I'm still waiting on my first email, but it's not like I could play right away if I got it now. My username's ScarletThorn26714. *crosses fingers and hopes for either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor*

I just got my email and I have started chapter one. my username is HowlStar10398
OK, I'm a bit confused now. I've gotten to Diagon Alley, and despite moving around for quite awhile, I'm not finding anything to click on, and it's not letting me move on.
"To the Great Western Wood, I give you...."
Does Pottermore take alot of time to keep up with? I want to do to so bad but with a full schedule I'm not sure if I'll be able to....

avvie by AslansChild thank you!!!
Not really. You move through the chapters at your own pace and the mini-games are no more time demanding than your average Facebook game. Much less so than Farmville or any of the other -ville games.
I was put into Slytherin, I thought i would be in ravenclaw or hufflepuff since every other test I have taken has put me i either of those. I like the green though.
Are you supposed to get sorted before you get to Hogwarts? Because it seems to me that Booky posted about getting into Slytherin before he posted about getting a wand.
What are the games, and should I have encountered some before the start of chapter five?
I'm very confused, and I must say that for all the hype this site has received. . . I'm finding it a little bit boring. I mean you go through a level, click on a few things, read stuff you already knew, occasionally find out something new from Rowling's personal notes, add stuff to your trunk (whatever the heck that does), interact with some of the objects in the environment (insects, lightbulbs, candles, etc....), and that's it.
I'm hoping that later chapters take more time to go through, and that there's more stuff to do in them.

I was a Gryffindor, but I switched accounts with my little sister and am now a Ravenclaw, not Slytherin, but, it'll do. My username is DawnPotion8263, also, How does one wave their wand in potions? I can't figure it out.

Pottermore seems to have gone down. . . drat. . . just as it was getting interesting as I shopped Diagon Alley. Even though a lot of people think I'd get an owl. . . I had no desire to get one . I bought a Siamese Cat instead.
Pity it's gone down. . . I'd really like to get my wand this evening.

Once you get to the potion making you will find it a lot better, the first few chapters are not interesting until you get sorted into your house.
