Greetings Aslans_Jewel,
Im joyful of your conversion. My only question is: how do you accidently watch a a trailer?? ;)

Movies and TV...I hate those but they are necessary to my existence :)

*Gasp* 'Tis happening 'gain. Ze TV overshadowed ze radio, and now ze internet 'tis overshadowing ze TV... 'Tis an endless cycle...I know not why me instincts cause me to fear it, but zey do... :-s Oh if only I lived in ze world before, but zen there would be no NW or Narnia... oh ze treachorous double nature in life... Can I never win?! :((

*EDIT: Ah I just realized my exam is during the week of the thirteenth not on the thirteenth... meaning I must wait longer... Uggghhh... [-(

Fair wolf. You hath forget that thee radio taketh over thee telagraph. Which taketh over thee Pony Express, which taketh over zero comunication. In that world there would be no movies. No Voyage of the Dawn treader adaption! What a horrible world that would be to belong to. The horror.

If you ain't first, you're last.

I hath seen the headlines of the Ice Palace showing and the teasing with Spoilers of the Eustace/Reepicheep duel. I shalt not view it. If the Spoiler of the interview with Skandar and Ben wast beatable, this even more so. For as I train mine self, the challenge that the Spoilers bestow gets weaker and weaker. For tis only 21 days until the glorious viewing. Any attempteth to view said spoilers shalt wet mine appetitie but it shalt make the wait unbearable. For I must focus much on mine classes so I can pass them with good grades. And as I hath posted on the Writer's World thread, I shalt start revising the sequel to the novel that shalt be released right around the same time as the glorious viewing. Tis VERY hard to beat that.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

'Tis quite refreshing to be within these fair walls. Just thought I wouldst comment. And on the opening day, I shalt be in a theater, contentedly watching, enjoying the thrill of seeing everything together for the first time, the way those who hath chosen the path of LoERSM cannot. A smile comes to my face just thinking about it.

Welcome, Silver the Wanderer! Tis nice to have you. If you would like a blindfold or a helmet, they are being passed round. :p

Why thank thee! I should greatly appreciate a blindfold and perhaps a pair of earplugs, for the sirens' call of the spoilers grows stronger every day. Just yesterday evening, I was sitting innocently, watching the square box that is called "television", when behold! The dreaded trailer popped up right before mine eyes! :-o So, like a true and faithful monk, I threweth my head into a pillow and screameth, "LA LA LA!" at the top of mine lungs. For some reason, this great and noble action dreweth some peculiar looks from mine parents. ;))

Doth anyone else desire a pair of earplugs? I hath brought them.

Ah Silver, I shall miss ye zere, but I make frequent visits here, so perhaps, we may still be freinds :)

Fear not, Good Wolf - our friendship shall endure yet. :)

Today is the first day since I joined the Order that I was tempted to view a spoiler. I saw a link to a mention of the music for the movie. As a passionate music lover, that was very difficult to resist. But I did it! :)

I believeth that I didst blank out for a moment or two, and that it didst fly past me into the audience.

Brethren, sistren, visitors and friends all! Lo, I hath seen a vision of the Vison. Before I seeketh the ping-pong ball I lost... I wouldst revive the mantra of old: "Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet."

That much, but no more, bring I within these walls. I hold my place among thy ranks dearly, and I await with anticipation the day of revealing.

Welcome to monkhood, Wanderer! It gladdens us that thou hath chosen the good Monastery for thy refuge in this spoiler-laden age. :D

*Ties her blindfold over her eyes* Verily, the evil that cometh in the form of film clips is ravaging these good lands, and though they art woefully tempting to vieweth, I abominate those spoilers above all others. :-w So indeed, mine blindfold wast received just in time! :D If I shouldst walk into anybody or causeth a sacred object to toppleth from its podium, I apologize in advance. ;))

Indeed, Wanderer, those who art not monks of the Monastery doth not always understand our peculiar behavior, such as the need to pluggeth the ears and scream gibberish at seemingly random intervals, or the wearing blindfolds when watching yon TV set or traversing the mall. Verily, we elicit many a strange look (a great deal of which come from the direction of the Empire :p), but I suppose it is but a small price to pay for enlightenment. :D

I applaud thy resolution, Life of Winter! Wouldst thou like some large and very fuzzy earmuffs to help thee in thy quest to abstain from the melodies which shall cometh with the Blessed Event?

Thou hast seen the Beatific Vision, Lady Wanderer? Thou art a lucky monk indeed! We art glad thee shalt not depart until the Blessed Event hath cometh, for thy amiability and making of blindfolds wouldst be much missed!

*Is enjoying the ping-pong match very much, and shouts "Go Winty!" and "Go Lady Wanderer!" an intervals* ;))

To winterlife from page seven of the scrolls depicting the history of this Monastery, many thanks for your warm welcome, and the offer of thy cookies. I fear they are what thou wished them not to be, but I accept one or five anyhow. Many thanks.

Forsooth! For I hath just noticed my lack of vow! I hereby vow not to view spoilers to the best of mine abilities, and to stay away from such tempting spoilers such as video clips and trailers most especially. I vow to keep all VDT related news hidden on mine Book of Faces so as to keep mine vow as best as humanly possibly, and to avoid the temptation that comes from not keeping Narnia related pages hidden. The viewing of interviews that are posted by friends on mine Book of Faces is to be allowed, and mine eyes may see them gladly without the breaking of mine vow to be heard.

I believe it is your turn, Lady Wanderer. I served twice. Hmmm... I think we need another ball. We've already gone through more than I can remember. :p

I thank you very much for your offer of earmuffs, Dryad of the Rose Tree, and I gladly accept. They shall also help me stay warm. *shivers and wonders why her dad set her room temperature at 62° F*

*re-adjusts blindfold which seems to have fallen into her eyes* Uh, convenient excuse for mine inattention, eh, wot? ;))

*puts new ball into play* Prithee, dost thou have any idea what the score is?

*waves cheerfully to the audience* 'Tis most pleasant to see y'all.

Aslans_Jewel, if thou art most serious about not wishing to see signatures, allow me to direct thou to thy member control panel. Therein thou shalt find a menu option titled: Board Preferences, and also Edit Display Options. It wilt then be an easy matter to choose not to display signatures and avatars! 'Tis a most excellent of selective blindfolds, ist it not? :D

I hath seen mine Finals schedule and while I loath to have a Final on the day of the glorious viewing, mine final tis scheduled to endeth at 1:00pm. And not having a car of mine own, that shalt allow me much time to eat and schedule a mode of public transportation from mine apartment to the theater. A midnight showing, while being most desired, tis not possible due to a late final on that Thursday and an early final on that Friday. So I must wait until 3:00 or 4:00pm depending on the the schedule, but I shalt be able to vieweth the movie on the day of releasal. Then that Saturday, I shalt make another trip to the theater for a 2nd viewing. Tis my plan for opening weekend. But perhaps I shalt also vieweth it with mine parents that Sunday as well. They desireth to see it too.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

Perchance it that soon I shalt be present at a viewing of a film which is not one of the Glorious Ones, but another. Though in mine heart this film I greatly desire to see, I fear at the same time to view it, for I hath heardeth some report of a Glorious Trailer, showing prior, which might jeopardise my closely guarded innocence in all matters of the Spoiler.

I hath much travail to be done on the dayeth of the true Glorious Release. Shalt try to ensure that mine morn hours be free for an early morn viewing, that thus my mind shalt be suitably distracted the following days as I attempt to return to that Silent Planet which is called Earth.

Translation: I'm going to see Harry Potter and I'm worried about accidentally catching the VoDT trailer before it. I'm going to see Narnia on opening morning, if I can get off of work...and then I will have to go into work with the film replaying in my head. :p
