I shalt make the first serve, if it pleaseth thee, Winterlife.

*puts the ball into play and watches with surprise as it bounces first on her side of the table and then on the other* Didst I do it correctly? :D

I believe that a helmet and protective gear mighst be appropriate for the players as well, good dryad. ;)) I have not only a plain rose-tinted scarf, but also one with tiny roses! Perchance we could trade scarf for helmet? The Silver Wanderer is more than welcome to a scarf as well, they're quite fashionable here in the Monastery at the moment. ;)

~is overwhelmed with joy from finding a topic in which no spoilers are to be found #:-s

I suppose I should have joined this thread a looong while ago, since I too have been seeking refuge from all spoilers! Alas, that is why I am here...oh,could someone please pass me a pair of blindfolds as well ;) ...for I am dreadfully afraid that I may stumble upon content I am so trying to avoid... *dons a pair of shades to block out the tempting rays that beckoning TV spots & screencaps emit in an attempt to capture her attention* B-)

So, I went to the mall yesterday and of course what did I stumble upon only moments after my arrival...the very thing I was trying to avoid...the Ice Palace attraction! :-o I had to lureth myself away from this immediately before I succombed to venture inside. It appeareth to me that they were even had a glass case with film associated memorabilia, which somehow managed to fall into my point of view as I rushed through the crowd, although thankfully I was spared of seeing anything...

I also spy with my little eye, that there appears to be a script excerpt from the film...tempting as it may be, I must prevail in not even thinking what it may contain...I findeth myself even unable to watch TV anymore because they are showing the trailer that containeth much dangerous content for my eyes...

Ahh, Rose, I see that thou art also partaking in the orders of the monks... how wonderful to findeth a fellow chatroom fiend, that is well acquainted with renowned Battle of the Marbles here as well... :p

May I treateth myself to a delicious biscotti, Silver the Wanderer...I promise not to leave behind a trail of crumbs...

Perhaps, I should be going now, but I shall returneth here again soon...until then I pray I do not perish in the rapidly growing amount of footage...

*wraps herself up in a crimson cloak, hoping to thus disguise herself & slink past the spoilers unnoticed*

*bats ball back across the table a little too hard* I think that's how you do it, Meltintalle, but I think maybe it isn't supposed to touch your side when serving. Perhaps we should ask someone who knows? ;))
I don't think I'll need armor. Ping-pong balls are rather light, and I have glasses, so it can't hit me right in the eye.
Alas, my sister, though not a NWebber, has stuffed herself with spoilers. She spent the day wearing a smug look and peeking at me out of the corner of her eye. But she is gracious enough to not speak of them around me.

*enters*

Hail, fair friends! :D 'Tis indeed a delight to wend my way here at last again!

For to my shame, I hath not entered the Monastery for many a day, although I hath indeed kept my sacred vow faithfully. Yet 'tis foolish to walk the spoiler-free path alone. For lo, the road is beset with dangers, and 'tween the temptations of the front page, the TV spots that verily appear to afflict mine eyes, and those in the chatroom who take pleasure in the dastardly Posting of Links, it hath been weary toil to keep my way straight. #:-s

And so, I hath come to seek relief in this blessed sanctuary of kindred spirits and cappuccinos. :D Mayest I partake of a blindfold as well?

Indeed, it maketh me mournful to see the destruction wrought by the Spoileréd. But it doth afford opportunity to compare the fruits of the seeds that hast been planted in our hearts. In the Monastery, we experiment with cookie recipes for the delight of our brethren and sistern. In the Realm of the Spoileréd, all such offerings of love and devotion art spurned and smashed upon the ground, presumably for pleasure.

Indeed, I art feeling very much holier than thou!

Not all of us smash cookies. Some of us choose instead to use them as fuel for our rockets. Or food for our mutant dogs. And some of us even eat cookies up like there's no tomorrow...

Indeed, I art feeling very much holier than thou!

Hmm... not a very good way to prove that you monks aren't the stuck-up, holier-than-thou type of people that we at the Lair accuse you to be. :P ;) you've pretty much just admitted it.... And everyone knows that stuck-up-edness leads to the dark side...

I shalt finally admit it. Over the last few weeks I hath participated in the viewing of thee spoiler less and less. The prime examples include thee sound track clips, thee tv spots and thee other tv spots.

The Dryad who is named Rose tempeth me the other night to join thee monks in thouest noble quest, and tonight I vowed that if I made it to seven thousand words on my book called Nano I would become a monk. So here I am. So that, coupled with the fact that thee spoilers are becoming weirysome from now on I ameth a monk. In heart and ineth mind.

I knoweth that I hath raineth down terror on this fair monastary before. However, I now seek refuge and a good cup of joe. No pun intended. Will you monks forgive my past transgessions and gluttony of the spoiler?

[EJ, Libby, Eusy and Booky are going to be out to get me now. Bringeth it on . B-)

If you ain't first, you're last.

^^ Alas, I am not out to get you, but I, instead, go into mourning. *Goes off and cries the loss of her friend* I thought you were stronger... how could you... turn to the... good side?!? It will be awhile before I stop crying enough to Bwahaha again...

Enjoy your cup of joe, Joe... (pun intended this time :P) I hope the brew is pure enough for you, monk. :( I know monks like pure things :P
