tps - Those are gorgeous! I absolutely love your It's A Wonderful Life avvies - that's one of my favorite movies and what you did with them is gorgeous! Your contrast on all of these is exceptional, especially with the black and white ones - it's hard to make a black and white photo stand out, but you did. So, fantastic job!

I really like your book sigs & avvy sets! I recognize the kid in #4 from the movie Homeward Bound. I like them all - the only thing is that the text on #4 is hard to read. I can read the others though. Other than that, great job!

MountainFireflower, I love the wallie! The design is very nice. The brightness of the yellow tones down the lyrics a bit, but I think it would look worse if you made the text brighter. My only CC would be that with most monitors being widescreen now (including mine), the top line of text would be cut out when the wallie is used.

Actually, the kid from Homeward Bound is the fifth one (the last boy). The fourth one, is the kid from the Air Bud movies.

As much as I hate to break the illusion, cause then you'll think of the actors, and not the characters... I'll tell you who I used for each of them. *sigh*

FYI- I grew up watching all of them in stuff during the 80's and/or 90's, except the guy I used for Matt. He's a more recent find. (meaning, I found out about him through two episodes of Smallville, seasons 1 & 2) They are ALL among my favourite actors. (but the list is not limited to just them, obviously)

Random Trivia: I found it cool, funny, etc... that the kid I used for Kev (short for Kevin) is actually named Kevin. And that the guy I used for Charlie played Charlie Conway in the Ducks films.

Trivia to remember: For each boy's wallies, I used their favourite song, and colours. So those things are a hint to their personalities. The songs don't totally fit them, yet do. It's odd, but cool. And for each, I chose songs that were actually around when the book takes place. (summer of '89) Thought it important to do it that way, though I don't know why. *shrugs again*

Hey Bookwyrm, I was just about to embark on a LOTR-graphic-making expedition. Definitely feel free to use whatever you want by whomever you want, but just letting you know you can expect some LOTR stuff from me in the near future.

Speaking of Star Wars, does anyone know a good place to download the screencaps of any/all the movies? I prefer the ones where you can get .zip files instead of having to click on each picture...
