I am a huge huge fan of Lewis' Perelandra, so here's a collage of one of my absolutely favorite quotes. If you haven't read the book, you might want to look at it, it doesn't really give anything away, but it is in the middle of the book, so you might not...it's really up to you.

Okay, a couple pages back, Fire Fairy offered to send a bunch of her favorite quotes as material for signatures. They're made for Fire Fairy, but she said anyone can use them. Here are three of them. Here's a picture I did of Luna Lovegood. The lyrics are from Owl City's The Real World, which I though suited Luna perfectly. (I tried to photoshop the book cover out, but I couldn't get it. I may post an improved version in the future.)

Oh I like it Lady Haleth! My only suggestion if you can't remove the book cover is to change the color of the lyrics, because they're very close and hard to read. But I love the lyrics you chose!

Thank you! I actually don't know what font that is; I used a text brush for that one. I think the texture was made by MissAravis though, so maybe you could ask her?

Lady Haleth, do you mind if I give you a little advice on choosing a font color? In one of my classes, when I was learning how to design a document, a trick I learned is to take a color that is already in the photo and use that for your font, then place it in the place that contrasts the best. For example, in your violet picture, I would have taken the deep purple/mauve color of the shadows of the grass and used that for the font color. I would have then placed the font where you could see it best, preferably where there is a bit more green in the background. This makes it easy to see while still matching the photo. You can match the photo without letting the font blend in.

Here's an example of a photo I took in Chicago. I took the light blue of the lake in the distant background and the silver of the reflections and contrasted it to the deep blue-green gray of the buildings. The effect looks professional and viewer-friendly. Hope that helps.
