And do any of you know how to make things look as bright on Nweb as they do in the program? Stuff once posted is always (at least) a hair darker than when it's open in my program. It's weird. I'd just make it brighter to begin with... but what if that made it too bright... even in here?! HELP!
I think it might be because the background color of the site is different than the background color of the art program. Just like a chest of drawers might look a different shade in a dark-walled room than in a light-walled room, the color of any background behind an object will affect the appearance of the object itself.
The only thing you can do is just experiment until you find the right levels of lighting. Every picture is different. Try making it lighter than you have been before, then upload it. if it's not right, delete and try again. Once you find the right level of light, take note on how it looked in your program. Then you'll know how light a graphic has to look in your program in order for it to look right here.

Here are some larger pictures I did with song lyrics a while back:
Lyrics from Switchfoot's "Burn Out Bright":
Lyrics from Philips, Craig & Dean's "Freedom of the Sea":
Lyrics from Switchfoot's "The Setting Sun":
Lyrics from Rich Mullins' "Land of My Sojourn":
Lyrics from Andrew Peterson's "Nothing to Say":
Lyrics from Switchfoot's "Stars":
The glory of God is man fully alive--St. Iraneus
Salvation is a fire in the midnight of the soul-Switchfoot
Lady Haleth, what a great selection of lyrics! I love, love, love that song by Andrew Peterson!
So after watching episode 9 of series 4, I just about cried and almost decided to give up the whole show! Not that the episode was bad, it was just so sad. Well, I made some graphics hastily to make myself feel better. And I must say some of the cropping turned out pretty bad...blaaah...it turned out really bad. Ah well, here ya go...enjoy!!
All of the above are from the BBC Merlin show and cast, Colin Morgan, Bradley James, Angel Coulby and Katie McGrath. Comments and criticisms are loved!! Anyone is welcome to use.

Stuff I made before I made these at request....
I haven't been here in a while, so I'm afraid I don't have time to comment on everyone's lovely work. But I promise to never miss two whole pages again, cross my heart!
RubyGamgee, I felt the same exact way. Which is why the eclectic bunch of Merlin graphics I've got are all happy. I don't think I'm emotionally stable enough yet to tackle that sad parts of that episode.

Sorry about all the Belle variations. I've never done that whole cut-out-a-person-&-paste-a-texture-behind-them thing, and I was having a little too much fun figuring it out.
1-20: Once Upon A Time
The textures on 1 and 4-14 are from ForeverFan, Aravis Autarkeia, Proverbial Sunrise, flambeau, and Wunderkind_Lucy. They are all crazy talented, wonderful people.
