Well, I'm now at 46k. I really need some sort of push to get the rest...but I really do want to get it tonight, if I can.
I sort of made up a whole other story to add, and I really have big plans for this one, too. I don't know if I've won in writing a complete novel, but I do feel like I've won in seeing my dreams for being an author ( ) more clearly, and to say NaNo has helped tons would be an understatement...

So, trying to pull that 4k!

Now I'm at 48k...I really need to keep writing now... *thinks she's going to make it!* I think I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow, though. I've exhausted all my writing skills for typing now, so I'd better wait.

....aand my novel is now finished! 29 days and 82k later, the story I've had in my head for years is now all out and written. It changed a lot between then and now. But it's done, and I'm really excited.

I'm also SUPER excited at how many winners/almost-winners we have on Narniaweb so far! You can't believe how pumped I am. I can't wait to do the final tally at the end!

And my novel is complete as well! Golly, I can't believe that I actually finished a novel in a month! Last year I only got 51k and did not complete the story. This year, even though I started late (like, way late, on Nov. 11th late), I got 65,075 words AND finished it! YAYZW00T!! I'm totally jazzed about this! I totally cannot believe it! This is an enormous break through for me! I've *never* completed a novel over 60k words in one month.

I'm definitely giving God the glory for this one. I totally did not do this on my own. Man. Wow. Geepers. Holy cow. Can you tell I'm stunned???

Huge congratulations to everyone that has reached 50K! You did an amazing job! I'm so happy I made it I was behind and wasn't sure if I was going to end it, but I did it and, alright, I'll say it, I'm really proud of myself!

With this year of NaNo almost done (sob, sniff, sniff), I've been working on compiling a data sheet on Narniaweb's success this year. It's AMAZING at how many winners we have already, and the month is not even out yet.

I've got most of y'all present and accounted for both on here and on the NaNo site, but there's still a few folks that I don't have NaNo usernames for, or vice versa.

And to everyone else who is still writing like mad, keep going!! Write or Die helped for me, since I discovered I could write 500+ words in ten minutes, otherwise I might have dragged my feet. You can do it!!

I finished my novel!!!! And the funny thing is, I still like it. Anyway, I'm really excited! Now, I'm just working on a cover. I drew it, and am coloring a copy in with pencils, and am contemplating water colors.

Woo hoo!!!

Currently I have 9700 words left to go. I feel much better now that I have left 10000 words left to go behind, but I still feel kind of panicky. I stole the laptop with Internet from the kitchen, so now I can use Write or Die, but of course, it has Internet, and now I'm on NW. I've written my ending, though, so all I have to do it get to it.

I still kind of like my story and plot and characters, though I have this huge, terrible chunk in the middle that I only just managed to get away from, wherein my main character is delayed by a few knights, and goes underground. It's a horrid bit, and I'm going to cut it if I ever edit (which is more likely than last year, because my last year's NaNo was all terrible)

(I'm glad to hear that there are other people here who don't use contractions in their novels! )

I'm so happy to be finished. *sigh* My plot has a lot of holes in it, and I didn't wrap it up satisfactorily. If someone were reading it (heaven forbid) they would say, "What!!? That's it!?" But it was just such a perfect ending moment, I completely disregarded all my loose ends and wrote The End.

Yay, 1,216 in 20 minutes! That's a record for me!

I'm still not finished with my novel yet though... Hm. Only a thousand or two to go! I'm getting excited!

I wonder if I can write 6521 words by midnight... that's the only way I can reach 70k. I'm not too set on it, I don't think the book'll be done by then anyway. *shrugs* I'll try, though.

By the way, does anyone think it's unfeasible that my princess learned how to shoot a bow and arrow like a pro in about 2 weeks? Because I'm thinking of making it longer; the story would still work.
