Team Hoodie!!
Congratulations to everyone who has finished!
(Woohoo to Betsie especially. And Destined, you're so close!!)
This is my latest half-sentence... After I wrote it I had to laugh out loud. This is supposed to be a sad scene, and the MC's brother is here... and it's raining.
The rain dripped off of his beard onto my head
But the sentence makes me laugh.

*Points to new Avatar* Lookie! Lookie! I did it!
If I was any good with graphic making I'd make Valia an avatar that said "NaNoWriMo Coach of the Year" I seriously don't think I would have finished without her support.
Anyhow, congrats to all of you who have finished! and good luck to those of you who are still finishing!

I've won!!! I'm awed and amazed, but I'm not at all impressed by myself. I'm looking around and wondering who did it, because it sure doesn't seem like I did.
Anyway. I'm so excited!!!!!!!
And no, I'm not near to being finished with my novel, but I'll worry about that later.
Yay, Winter!! I was so happy when Valia said you'd won.
And Ryan!! Hip Hip Hooray!
And of course Betsie(!!!), but then, you already knew that.
*hops around on one foot ecstatically, and doesn't even want to think about sleep*
Oh dear. I find that after getting tired of writing I start wanting desperately to do things like this.
"The next morning I woke up. (As uuuuusual.) Crawling out of bed, I stumbled downstairs and sat down at the table. Deciding to make oatmeal (wouldn't everyone be happy????) I went to the cupboard and got out the (*gasp*) oats. (Oatmeal=oats+other stuff. See?)"
No, no. Can't do that.

Wow, I'm getting so massively excited by all the winners in this thread! Two days left, y'all...I know we can add some more!
Myself, I passed 80k on the day before Thanksgiving, and I've barely written a smidge since. Kind of funny because I'm literally 1 or 2k away from finishing my novel completely. Tomorrow or Monday, I'll get the verah last bit done.
But all the same, I'm still incredibly thrilled by the fact that I even got to 80k....I thought for sure I'd never get that far. And I did, and I did it in one month, too. Insane.
Two days to go and I have only 2000 words left It's my first year and I'm proud I wrote 25.000 words. Next year I'll be doing 40k and the year after that 50k soo..
My novel isn't finished, but I don't mind
Made a final push yesterday, and won! Yay!

Congrats to the winners! You're awesome! I haven't won yet, but I'm getting there.
And to those who haven't won, listen to Chris Baty: You can still win! Write like you're crazy and just keep going. Devote a day to novel. Try Write or Die! ( http://writeordie.drwicked.com/ ) I know that you can do it.

A HUGE congratulations to everyone who has already won!!!! You have all done a tremendous amount of writing and it is so exciting to see so many people doing it!!
As of last night, I am officially a winner!!! I am very excited to have reached the goal!! I haven't finished my novel yet, but I hope that I will soon.
I agree most heartily with you, Winter about an older sister being the one that really helped you through (it wasn't Valia in my case though )! flambeau gave me so many ideas when I was stuck and helped me finish!! Thank you, sis!
For those of you who haven't finished yet: You can do it!! You still have the rest of today and all of tomorrow!!

Team Hoodie!!
Hurrah Djaq!!! That's so wonderful!
And yay, Arwenel! Congrats!
Queen Susan and flambeau, you guys are so close! Keep up the good work!
I think I'm going to end up with 30,000 by the end of NaNo (Dec. 5 for me: courtesy of not writing on Sundays). Not nearly as impressive as all the 50,000+ ya'll got but hey, I'm happy with it.

I'm at 60k or something like that. I don't consider myself to have won, though, becuase I'm nowhere near finished with my story, and I just hit a huge gap in the outline. ERGHH!
Congrats to all the winners! Our thread on the Nano site is littered with the purple bar.
Also happy to announce that I've managed to successfully insert two Narniawebbers into my story.
I want to actually write those wonderful words The End before I win. Or I want to make 75K. We'll see which happens first...

I just hit 50K and I'm really happy about it! I wanted a certain section of my story to end just around the time I hit 50K and I did that. Thank goodness! Tomorrow I'll be writing the rest and inserting a shameless romantic nod. I'm so glad. I love NaNo. I love it at the end and the beginning.
Man, I feel like I just ran a race! All breathless and stuff! But now I'm in the home stretch.
Come on, you guys who haven't finished! Write, Write, Write!
