Nice to see our NarniaWeb NaNos once again! (We'll miss your participation, Ithilwen!)
Writing so many words in another language is a most impressive challenge, Lady Arwen. Good luck.
I'm getting set for this year's book by wrapping up the incomplete sections of last year's story. It's really getting me in the mood to write, but I'm still something at a loss as to a main plotline this year.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
I'm thinking of reentering this again this year. I have a tough choice though....I can put in a few short stories or continue the story I began last year. I'd like to do the latter, but I'm worried it's really terrible. Then again I can always edit out the lousy parts/dialogue later, right?
Kennel Keeper of Fenris Ulf
Well, I'm doing it. A plot idea bounced into my head last week and refused to leave. I have never written for this character or in this world before. It's kind of frightening and exciting all at once. I already have a synopsis and cover image. Now I just need to figure out the entire plot!
NaNo name is dragon_topaz if anyone wants to add me.
Thanks, Gazer.
I've been fighting with getting my characters/plot clear in my head. I thought that would be relatively simple (I'm trying to keep it simple, at least!), as I'm doing a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but so far they aren't cooperating.

Princess Anna awwww sorry NaNo happens to be the same month as your birthday, I can imagine how annoying it must be *will definatly try to talk with you even though she's pushing for 100k*
Lady A that is SO cool that you will be writing in French (bah, it's such a great pity I don't know the language )
since I'm writing two novels I've got two accounts, the first one is the one I had last year, I go by the name Apye, and in the second one I go by the name Miraslava, if anyone wants to friend one or both
I''ll be writing one novel in English and one novel in Russian (a nice little compromise last year I had some difficulty deciding what language I would write in, this year it's all simple ). Both novels are mostly planned, the basic plot is ready and all I'm really doing is just waiting for November to come around though I've still got some description to think up for some of the characters. Has anyone ever had the problem where character simply refuse to be described? Like they are sort of there in your head, but you can't really make up what they are supposed to look like
always be humble and kind
Novels in both English and Russian, wild rose? Wow, that's impressive. Sometimes I have trouble just writing in my native language.
My muse slapped me yesterday afternoon with a story idea, and now I'm bursting with notes about how to proceed. It's kind of ironic - the idea comes from what was originally intended to be a one-off April Fool's joke in the Ditto Story. I think it'll be fun!
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
NANO TIIIIIIIIME!
*bounces around like an over caffeinated kangaroo* I am so excited. o.o I'm going to continue to work on my Sci-Fi trilogy (The MindReader Saga: 31 Days, Control, and MindReader). I've scrapped my original copy of 31 Days, rewritten the outline, cut some characters, and... yeah. Verrrry excited.
Also, NaNo time means WORD WARS (mwahahahaha).
My muse slapped me yesterday afternoon with a story idea
Wren read that as "my mum slapped me yesterday afternoon with a story idea...."
Thanks, wild! Though I must say it isn't any cooler than you doing a novel in each of your languages. That's just....amazing. I envy you. Perhaps someday I'll be that fluent.

Wrose, that is really neat! I think I need to add your other account to my writing buddies...
Well, I'm popping in to say that I am dropping out of doing NaNo formally. If I get the time, I will write and I will update my wordcount but I'm trying not to keep it at 50k. Maybe I'll do 25k. School's just been too busy, and with Christmas coming up, I'll have a lot of preparing to do in other things. In any case, I'll be lurking in here and I might join in word wars since I had a bit of a story planned out.

Gah. I just don't know how doable NaNo is anymore. I've got two doctors appointments a week, school, insulin pump trials, and duties as a junior intern at my youth group. We'll see, though. I've got a great idea and a plot mapped out and I really want to write it (and do some WWs with mah twinsie).
Hopefully, hopefully everything will work out, but for now, I'm contemplating dropping out.

I want to do NaNo, but I'm getting onto a roll on my sequel and I'm not sure I can use an already started novel. Plus I start a new job as a substitute a week from Thursday (Nov 1) so I will be busy with that. But that being said, I am part of a local Christian Writer's Group here in El Paso and I will be mentioning NaNo to them on Saturday during our monthly meeting. (I couldn't last month because I was out of town, and even if I was there, I wouldn't have thought of it.)
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.
I've got a great idea and a plot mapped out and I really want to write it (and do some WWs with mah twinsie).
Moi? I hopeses so, because I am ever so anxious for the wars to begin. >8D

Yes you, dear. I really want to do this, so will probably find a way to get some writing in, but I doubt I'll be finishing this year.

Less than a week now!
I've been writing lots of notes as my mum (thanks Wren ) keeps offering ideas, scenes, and plots. Can't wait to actually get started!
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
It's kind of ironic - the idea comes from what was originally intended to be a one-off April Fool's joke in the Ditto Story. I think it'll be fun!
So not only did the idea grow into lots of new plot twists for several writers in the Ditto Story, but now it's even getting its own NaNo novel?
That's great, stargazer!
