But I have less going on tomorrow and the next day. So I'm sure I'll probably catch up, at least eventually. Even if it kills my writing.

I think I'm being a little too picky this year. Or too distracted. Or both.

Hit 12k (which is actually 5k since I had 7k pre-written), and am content. For the first time ever, I'm not pushing myself like a madwoman; I'm actually enjoying this Nano more than I ever have before, and the quality of my writing is much, much higher than normal for my Nanos.

Hey, now, Arwenel, you have a pretty respectabiggle winning streak under your belt. We shall allow you to sit this one out, but only if you shower us with motivational chocolates. Deal?

That's the spirit, Lucy! The second write is always better than the first. Always. I've written my current novel three times, and I'm amazed at how much each one improves.

Wow, if I said that to just about anyone else I knew, I'd get locked up.

I'm at 6,292. A little ahead of schedule which is good. I'm just slowly plugging along. I haven't been doing any crazy writing or anything. I've had a lot going on and have been figuring some stuff out so I haven't really put much time into writing: pretty much just getting the daily word count done and not much more.

I'm at 8500 at the beginning of the day - I'd like to get at least 3 thousand today, but who knows. I guess I'll have to do a lot of word wars.
I feel kind of like I'm rushing things, and kind of like I'm being REALLY boring. Probably both. I really have to remind myself that NaNo is NOT about writing a good book. I'm doing the only two required things - writing, and having fun.

This is my first year of Nano, and I'm already slightly behind. I have about 4,000 words, but my goal today is to get up to 8,000 by tomorrow or so. I'll be writing like crazy!

Just have to pop in to say my current word count is 8383.

Today the focus of my writing has been some chapters that will come later in the story. It's all very disjointed, but I'm sure it'll come together as the month progresses.

ChristProclamer, I love the excerpt! Are you by any chance going to let people read your novel when you're done? Because I would love to!

I'm currently several days behind due to busy school days and lack of energy. I'm hoping to catch up tonight and tomorrow. My word count is still less than 2000. Still, I'm excited and determined to finish with a win this year.

I am not the only one on Narniaweb doing NaNo! Good to know. I have made it up to 8,334 words so far. This my very first time doing it and I have gotten writer's block already like three time while trying to write. Oh, I am so glad I am not behind.

Mine is cooking along, although I seem to be lagging behind the rest of you. I had scant time to work on it today, although I'm preparing to start on it again here shortly. Currently I'm at 10.5k.

Here's the synopsis and the excerpt, which reads more like horror than Sci-Fi, but no worries, it'll get there soon enough!

I'm at 10640 words, chapter three, and I'm stopping for the day. I'm anticipating the end of this chapter because it's my favorite part, but the beginning of the chapter should probably be re-written soon. I'm so brain dead, I've been writing all day.
