Such an original title, I know. 
I couldn't think up anything more exciting.
So, here we can post all our favorite names. Names you'd like to have as your own if you could change yours, names you wouldn't mind naming any future kids, names you just like, names you don't like, whatever.
I was talking this morning with my mother about names. I saying that if I'd been named something I really didn't like I'd probably change it when I was old enough. Thankfully I do like my name though (Laura). It's not my top-favorite name, but I'm happy enough with it not to change it! If I was going to change my name, I'd probably be "Val" simply because I'm already used to that, even if it's not my top-favorite name either. 
So...favorite names. I tend to gravitate toward very unusual names. I can't bear the thought of having a "normal" or "common" name. For example, I'm afraid I'm not fond of the names Jessica, Katie, Sarah, or Brittany simply because there seems to be such an abundance of them (I do know lovely girls with these names, nothing against them of course!).
In my discussion with my mom, I came to the conclusion that I would live vicariously through my future children's names. That is, "if I couldn't have this name, well you're going to have it!"

hmm we used to have a thread like this, no idea why it was closed. I already have more than 100 names picked out for my future kids . I'll post some later

Oh, I have a list of this lying somewhere for when I write...
Right now, my current favourite boy name (mainly for characters) is James.
And for girls, ... I can't decide. I'll say the name-of-the week for girls is Alice.
I'll come back with a more accurate, detailed list.
For my own name (which will not be shared here... ), I'm pretty satisfied with it because I don't have to get anxious that anyone around might have the same name. There's like a .01 % chance of anyone out of a large group has the same name. ^.^ (It's not something like jibberish, no worries. Just different.)
If I had to change my name, I think I'd make it something like "Rain" or "May" but I'm not 100% sure. However, if I really had to change my name to something I can respond to, of course "Bella" would go, but I'd make sure my middle name was "NotFromTwilight."
Aside from that, I love picturesque, fitting names from nature. <3

My favorite names tend to show up as character names in my writing...so they tend to be kind of boring. There are a lot of interesting names out there, but I'm pretty ordinary in terms of what I'd actually name my child.

I really like some of your names Val, especially Pippin and Piper, those would be great twin/sister names.
