Ok, 2 things actually.
A If you had a kid, what would you name her/him?
BWhat are some unusual names ou've heard. Not trying to make fun of or anything, just names that don't go around alot, in case the rest of us wanna name our kids that name.
Examples: There was a kid named Apple and one named Marina. I would name mine Lucia or Will
I wanna be Jill Pole!
Since i can't have kids(personal problem). I would have to adopt them if i wanted some when i was older.
Weird names. ozma, webstarben and i know theirs more but i can't remember.
Weird names(All names I would name my kids): Ezmee, Lusilah, Abanelle, Maikah, Obadiah, Aliesiah, Lorella, Joella, etc., etc. I like very strange names.
Pronunciations: Ez-mee, Loo-sil-uh, Ah-bah-nel, Mai-kuh(Like Micah only spelt differently), Oh-ba-dai-uh, Ahl-ee-see-uh, Lor-el-uh, Joh-el-uh.

One of my favorite things!
Only two names? Come on, now... My favorites:
Katherine McTavish
Kilmeny Worth
Beatrice Slade
Hugh Immanuel
Miles Shanahan
Lochlan
And there are way more. I guess some of them are a little odd. But what names aren't unusual these days? Marina sounds really normal. I can't think of any really strange ones at the moment.

Ah, names. I have the names of my future children all picked out, if of course I have children and their father likes the names. They are:
Fitzwilliam
Fredrick
Georgiana
Elinor
Anne
Edward
Marianne
All, of course, Jane Austen names. Other names?
Leah
Kelsey
Ethel
And that's it for now, I think.
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
I also like the names Rosalie, Rosalia, Alice, and Aurecia.
For a boy I like Timothy and Andrew too

Elizabeth for a girl; Matthew or John for a boy.
I think the name @ is probably way up there if you want a, ahem, different name.
My favorite girl names: Cossette (usually spelled with one T), Mabel, Hazel, Jael, Dinah, Thacia...
For a long time I insisted on naming my (someday) son Bartholomew. My sisters threatened me that if I did, they would call him Barf for short. I, of course, intended to do it anyways. Until 2006, when my next favorite boy name appeared: Eustace. I know--my sons will hate me. I also like Norman or Mason. And Corin, Ash, Skandar, Wulf, or Liam.
I recognize a number of those names from actors or characters. But when it comes to picking names, I am usually pretty bad at it. It's not that I can't think of any. It's more I have a hard time deciding which one to use. I will say though that a thread like this would do well for a writer.
Here are some common names I have used in my writing.
Boys: James, Ryan, Daniel, Peter, Aaron, Michael, William, Walter and more.
Girls: Hannah, Nichole, Abigail, Danielle, Sarah...
Now here are some uncommon/cool names I have used.
Boys: Arven, Casmir, Jacen, Caedmon, Einar, Kivuli, Aumon, Hakim, Hadwin, Baden...
Girls: Priyasha, Alethia, Aerona...
There are even some names I have made us, using Latin or Greek as a basis. Examples: Perdolus, Caecita and Edomare. That doesn't include names of places I have used.
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.
I like my mums idea of using a name but changing it to an uncommon spelling like the following
jaxon=jackson
mckenzie= mackenzie
danielle =Danyelle
taylor= Tayla
Brady= Bradie
If I had a girl I'd name her Addison Joy and if a boy I'd name him Matthew Ryan.
One unusual name I've heard is Avalee.
"Are you sure you're eighteen?"
"Why? Do I look older?"
For a girl I would name her Alethea Ann (Alethea means truth) and I would name a boy Peter John.
Besides Alethea as a name, one of my friends named her daughter Arulie (I think that's how spell it) But it is an Indian name and it was the name of Amy Carmichael's assistant.
