Queen Susan: LOL, that was one of the first pieces I learned! Heh, that's a good question. But I'm sure you'll be graduating up to "Twinkle, Twinkle" soon. The end of book one/beginning of book two have some more interesting songs.

Glenstorm the Great: I don't think "Boiling Cabbages" is really in any book (not Suzuki, anyway). It's just a well-known piece that teachers normally assign to beginners, or play at fiddling performances.

Liberty: Hehe, drums are fun. Percussion is soo cool.

Oh, wow, that song went really well. That is, after I found out I was playing in a different key than everyone else. (I was the only person using chords.)

MissRosario: yes, drums and percussion ARE fun! I have been playing percussion since I was 7 years old! and I have been singing since I was born.....lol!

I would love to learn drums. But I'd kind of like to master guitar first, although since that will technically take more time than most lifetimes... yeah. I'd like to learn drums.

I got a harmonica for Christmas! It's in key of C, & is REALLY awesome! Very fun to play. I love the sound, & it's beautiful with my guitar! now, I just have to learn how to play it!

I am in Suzuki violin book 6 right now, and no I don't teach myself violin.(Wow that would truly be amazing if I did!)

I'm probably going to be stopping piano lessons in a couple weeks. I'm just not really into it anymore. I'd like to keep playing on my own though. So right now, my teacher is teaching me how to play in a fake book. Where it has just the melody line and chords. It's really fun because now I can play a lot of other stuff or play songs that sound really difficult but I can play by just simplifying the chords and not playing as many notes in the bass.

that mainly what I do on piano. I'll print some chords out from the internet for a song I want to play and then I'll just kinda do broken up chords on the right hand and some simple bass notes on the left.
