I have always wanted to play the violin and the flute, but all I play is the piano....

I'm kind of teaching myself how to play the piano and I have a question for those who play well or at least knows more than I do. I've had past instruction and I know how to play the notes and such. I'm still a beginner, but not really. Without a teacher it's hard for me to pick up songs. So far this is the hardest piece I've tried to learn. I'm trying to learn Into the West and the sheet music I got for it has three different lines. For example it has two right hand lines (srry i don't know the correct term) and one left hand line. Which one do I play? Here is the link to see what I'm talking about. http://www.freewebs.com/lotringsmovies/intothewest1.htm
I'd be so grateful to anyone who can help me out. Thanks!

Well, sillygoose, I'm not a pianist, but I'm a vocalist, so I believe I can help. The first treble staff (right hand), that has lyrics under it, is the melody line for a singer. The other treble staff and the bass staff (left hand) are for the pianist.

No problem.
Does anyone know of a site where I can find the sheet music to popular Christian songs without spending too much money? I'm looking for some music for a trio I might do.

There's always http://www.musicnotes.com . (Jake gets a lot of the piano music for youth group from there.)
I just looked up a favorite song of mine that I've been wanting to buy and it costs $5.25. The music is then authorized to you for your use. You can't go out and share it with 25 kajillion people but you can share it with people in your "group". Hard to explain, like my mom got some music from there and it was authorized to her and my siblings and I all play off of it. And Jake (winterlife and my youth group leader) copies it for whoever is playing piano at that time. So do those examples of what you can share make sense?
I know of several sites where you can get the chord charts and lyrics for songs. However, ones with chord charts, the lyrics, and piano, I don't really know of any others besides musicnotes.
Thanks! I'll check it out.

I had to search for the violin music sheet of A Postcard to Henry Purcell, the on in Pride and Prejudice 2005, but I can't find it. Help please? .

I looked around on www.musicnotes.com and didn't find that particular song. Sorry! I don't know of any other sites, mostly because I don't play violin.
However, musicnotes has lots of other music for just about every instrument out there so check it out if you have other music you're looking for. I highly reccomend it.
Narnian_at_heart: Thanks . I'll just try to search harder because it really is tough finding it.
