Wowzie, we haven't gotten our piano tuned for like...years. Yeah I know thats pretty bad. I have gotten so used to it when I play on a tuned piano it sounds really weird to me!

Yeah, that is pretty bad. Mom doesn't have me tune my guitar before we practice, because it wouldn't do any good. My dad really wants it tuned.

^ditto! We've had our piano for around 6 years and it hasn't been tuned all that time, not even after we moved when it *cough* fell down a flight of stairs .
I love playing the piano! I've only been taking lessons for 2 years, but I'm almost through the lesson books. I would really like to learn to play drums, but my family says that would be loud and expensive. I also would like to learn electric guitar.
May the force be with you!
I LOVE Pixar & Disneyland!!!!
MissAravis, that harp cover was beautiful! Very nice job!
On the subject of pianos... I have an electric keyboard so I don't have that problem. I'm glad guitars are a bit easier to tune! I hope you guys can get yours tuned, winter & GtG.
narnianjedi, I want to learn drums too, but I have the same problem. Maybe someday!

I have to perform the piece Czardas in violin. Crossed-fingers! I hope I get it correctly, and learn it sooner.

I hope you do well, sandyentersNarnia!
I found it rather hard to just sit through the worship service this morning; I'm just so used to playing. I'm sure that if anyone watched me closely, they would have seen me forming chords throughout the service. But I'm looking forward to playing again this week. My wrists are doing better, and I'm up to a third of the strength I had before I hurt myself the first time.

Thanks!^ I do hope to see you play too. What do you play usually anyway?

I play guitar (not the best instrument if you hurt your wrists). I've been playing for almost 4 years now.

Good luck sandyentersnarnia!!! I have played in recitals, we have about two per year. I am always nervous when its my turn to play, I don't think I'll ever grow out of it!

LuvNarnia: I feel you Luv, haha. I do too get nervous and trembling all over but when I play, I just play it by heart and forget that everyone is looking . So, what pieces do you play? .
Winterlife: wow! I don't know how to play a guitar. I bet you really are good at it . I tried once, the basic chords, but my fingers were almost swollen because of the nylon, ouch! So, to those who know how to play the guitar, you guys are good! .

Wow, umm...a lot of different ones! I have played The Call by Regina Spektor, Theme from Schindlers List by ...can't remember his name, Amazing Grace, How Beautiful, Do You Feel the Mountains Tremble, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring...etc. Right now I am playing Battle Hymn of the Republic and Ancient of Days. I fluctuate from generally classical to worship songs.
