Finished up Wave 4 late last night (or was it early this morning? ). No trap piece but I did get a nice stash of Simple Orbs. I prefer Commander's Charms but I'll take Simple Orbs.

I also moved to the Great Gnarled Tree and equipped some Gnarled Cheese. Thus far I've gotten 3 Greater Wicked Gnarly Potions.

Well I'm at a little over 95% so I should level up within the next 48 hours.

So how has everybody done with the curious chemistry weekend? Did anybody else but me participate? I managed to nab 14 greater wicked gnarly potions, which means that I have enough potions to make 105 pieces of cheese.

Yep, I was there all weekend while out of town so I didn't get as many as the rest of you who participated probably did. I ended up with 12 potions. I'm quite happy with that, and of course, I have to save one because they look awesome. So 11 usable potions for upcoming tournaments.

I moved back to the Fiery Warpath when I got home last night. So far so good, working my way through Wave 1. I don't know if I'll finish it up today or not, but if I don't, I definitely will tomorrow.

I spent most of the weekend at the event. I made it to 28 potions. That combined with the potions from the easter event, I think I'm roughly in the 260 pieces range.

I'm back in the warpath as well. Working on the archers in wave 3. For some reason, I usually start with them. 49-50-24-60-30-20. Hopefully, I'll finish up the archers and move on to the scouts by tomorrow morning at the latest.

@ Digs nope, I was seriously considering it since eventually I'll need the Silth and Harpy Mice, but the gold is a bit more of an urgent need... I wonder if they'll ever have a double gold weekend...

Anyway I'm at 99.1% so I'll probably level up today... and I still have a lot of gold to go... next time I need to restock my cheese, I'm going to sell some cheddar... I have a ton that got dropped and I don't think I'll be needing it in the near future.

Well after several uber runs, I crushed Wave 1 yesterday, and I have also cleared the Scouts in Wave 2. Plus I caught a Commander on a run of 7. Working on Warriors.

130. I'm fairly confident that I can make it to 55 by the time my tier IV cheese is gone (at least I hope so). Which means that I'll be roughly half way there.

Today's gift of the day is stale sb+. If you guys are going to send me gifts, please make it be that!!! I like to use that stuff in super rotten charms (which used to sell outstandingly well on the marketplace prior to getting bajillions of charms from the easter event)

EDIT: I think that rather than going back and heading through the gauntlet again, I'm merely going to perservere and see how far it gets me. FK, I see that you only caught a total of 46 mice from Tier V. I've already got more cheese than that, and I've got a luckier trap than you had (Cackle Lantern!!!!). I can always go back and farm more, and I really want to get done with this thing before too long.

Not really I'm currently at 225,924 gold and I'm out of RB again...granted I've got a ton of ancient cheese potions, but they're pretty expensive to use...

I had a marvelous streak of good luck in Tier V of the gauntlet! During that time period, 4 out of 6 hunts resulted in the dropping of a Tier VI potion! That is unheard of for me!!! I've got 44 more pieces of cheese left, and if I can get about 5 more potion drops (which, using SB+ for conversions would give me 36 pieces of Tier VI cheese) I might be able to finish this thing!!!!!!

Now that I mentioned that, my luck will probably bottom out. . . oh well! I'm still happy.

EDIT: APPARENTLY NOT!!!!! My luck just got even better! I'm now up to a 6/9 drop rate (which is technically the same percentage but still!!!) I'm up to 24 pieces of Tier VI cheese, and just need two more potions before reaching my Tier VI goal! Anything after that is cake!!!

Were you at the Great Gnarled Tree? And were you using regular cheese or Gnarled Cheese? The Curious Chemist has a relatively high attraction to Gnarled Cheese, so I'm pretty surprised you didn't get a single potion!

Well, I sort of ran out of luck today. Oh, I didn't have a bad day, but I certainly didn't have a good day. Lots of FTA and FTC and therefore most of my streaks were broken. But that's alright because I'm still making good progress on Wave 2.

Ok I'm back in the catacombs with 213,718g and 54 pieces of RB. I've been here since 5:15 pm and I've made 12 attempts, I caught 5 mice, lost 10 pieces of cheese, got 1 kings reward, and had my courage crippled once. Not counting cheese costs or the points you get from blowing your horn...

So including cheese cost I made 12,524 g in 12 attempts and one reward. Though I have no idea if that's normal or not

I'm just plugging away. I've been doing pretty well since I upgraded my trap to the swiss army knife trap. I want to do some crafting but I can't! I have nothing that will combine! I get tons of splintered wood each day but nothing to combine it with. I have 111 pieces of wood and nothing else in the "general" crafting section. I have 98 pieces of stale cheese and 25 radioactive sludge and 1 magical essence in the "cheese" crafting section but that stuff doesn't combine. And in "charms", I have 28 flawed orbs, 4 simple orbs, and 4 flawless orbs and those don't combine either.

Anyway, right now I'm in the Calm Clearing and I'm a Journeyman. Since upgrading my trap, I almost never fail to catch a mouse while before, I had about a 60% catch rate if that. So my percentage is going up pretty fast and I'm at 73% so I should be at the next level before too long. Hopefully before the end of the week.
