Um. . . ACRONYM is the only arcane trap there is, except for the limitted edition Arcane Blast Trap that Ronza brought with her last time. So, I'm not quite sure which trap you're talking about...
Selling back some of your old traps might be an option at this point. What traps do you have right now?
Member of Ye Olde NarniaWeb
She's talking about the Obelisk of Slumber.
Oh. . . . . . yeah. . . . forgot about those.

Okay. Here are the ones you can DEFINITELY sell back:
Tacky Glue
500lb Spiked Crusher
Mary O'Nette
You might also consider selling back:
Mouse Rocketine
Mouse Trebuchet
But that's up to you. If you didn't get the Birthday Candle Kaboom trap from the birthday event then you'll also have to add a Digby Drillbot to your upcoming list of purchases.
Do not sell back your high tension spring. You'll need it later.

Thanks for that bit of info Digs... *makes mental note to do a cost/ gain analysis when she doesn't have a ton of homework to do...

I remember talking with you a while back Wolf about selling some of your traps back and you said that you wanted to keep them for collection purposes.
If that's something you're still wanting to do, I wouldn't bother selling any of them back. The amount you get back is puny compared to how much you pay for them in the first place. Plus, I can't tell you how many traps I've sold back only to have them add a new trap later on in the game that requires me to repurchase a trap again. For example, the new Monstrobot that I recently got requires smashed Deathbot parts. That's the first time that trap has been used for crafting another trap so there was no reason to keep it before now (aside from collecting). So there are definitely some benefits to hanging on to them.
On the other hand, if you don't care about collecting anymore, then the rule of thumb is to check and see which traps are going to be required as parts in the future (if you can smash it, keep it), after that just hang on to your best trap in each category (physical, tactical, shadow, etc) and sell the rest.
Wow, I feel really bad it feels like the reason I get on NW is to ask for help with MouseHunt *punches self in face* but I'm going to ask... Does anyone know where the best place to find the blue argyle egg and the stripy red egg? they are the last eggs I need other than the golden egg, then again I am only a journeyman...
Thank you all so much or your seemingly endless patience with my silly little questions...

Don't feel bad! While I'm sure we'd all love to see you around the rest of the forum, it's great to have you pop on just to post in this thread.

The Blue Egg is dropped by the Cowardly Mouse in the Town of Gnawnia (also the Flying Mouse there if you have SuperBrie).
The Red Egg is dropped by the Spud Mouse at the Windmill (also the Farmhand Mouse if you have SB).
Well, the past couple days I've had 0 luck getting a Cherry mouse egg (28 Cherry Cheese ) so I've given up on that one completely. Maybe next year. I'm now in the King's Gauntlet trying for the Bard Egg.
So who all besides me has a ridiculous amount of Radioactive Blue Potions? I've got enough to make well over 2000 cheese and I think Kat said that she can make over 3000 cheese.
I also have a whole lot of Gnarled and Wicked Gnarly Potions. I feel very prepared for the rerelease of tournaments!!!
Here is the spreadsheet, The Jedi Clone. It has all the eggs and all the locations of the eggs:

Your right, but for some reason *rubs creased forehead in exasperation* I really I don't know how to explain this, but for some reason I just can't bring myself to post on other forums, *ears p***k up* I know! I can look around and maybe post on the get to know you forum!
On a entirely different subject thanks for the help, with the eggs I hope i find them quicker now!

Wicked Gnarly: 122 (already converted)
Gnarly: 48 (already converted) + 50 potions (550 pieces)=598 pieces
RB: 98 (already converted) + 13 Corrupted potions + 10 Greater RB + 59 regular potions =98+182+660+1180=2120 pieces of RB.
I think I'm about ready for tournys as well. I think it may be time to hit the Tribal Isles and Furoma again to gather crafting items.
So...what exactly are these... "tournaments"?
Edit! Just bought the Obselisk of Slumber... and I have 98 pieces of Ancient cheese... that should last me a few days...
which is good cause now I'm down to 4,000 gold

WOO HOO! Congratulations Wolf!!!!
Tournaments are a thing of the past. I'm probably not the best person to answer this question as I've only been in two, but from what I remember, you had a "Tournament Bonus" that you needed to fill up. Each time you caught a mouse, you added some points into your tournament bonus. Your team (consisting of four people) was in a competition against hunting groups from all over the world.
Apart from that, I'm not sure what tournaments are really about either
When the devs do get tournies back up and running, we've GOT to start a NarniaWeb MH Thread hunting party
Member of Ye Olde NarniaWeb
Ah tournaments.
You and three other friends formed a hunting party. Tournaments were programmed in to start on certain days at certain times and you had to sign up for them. They actually cost a certain amount of gold too, but not much.
They also ran various lengths of time, some were only a couple hours long, but the weekend specialty tournaments ran from Thursday through Sunday.
An example tournament (and this is going from distant memory) was called Monster Mash. Monster Mice were worth 10 points a piece, Zombie Mice were worth 6 points, Steel mice 5, Bionic mice 5, and the Mutated Mice 2 a piece.
When you're in a tourny, your hunter's horn was tied in with your friend's horns, no matter where they were, as long as they were signed in, you'd hit the horn and everybody would hunt together (unless someone's horn was down or they had a King's Reward). For every mouse you caught, the ones worth points were added to your score.
There was also a multiplier. The more mice caught (didn't matter what type), your multiplier would move up a certain amount. If 2 friends caught a mouse, and you and your other friend didn't, it would even out and not move. If nobody caught a mouse, it would drop back down. Obviously once you got your multiplier up to x2, the mice's points would double.
Voila! There you are. Tournaments in a nutshell. Of course, I don't know if they'll be exactly like that or not when they're brought back. I know once upon a time the devs were talking about having hunting parties of up to 20 people and then you'd pick and choose who you'd take with you on various tournaments.... So we shall see.
ETA: So who all is going to try FishHunt? LOL
