Hahaha, yep, been there and done that too Chloe. Well you still would have been ok with the Birthday Candle Trap which is a teensy tinsy bit better than the Drillbot, but still.
I thought people might be interested in seeing what I got out of my Gift eggs....
8:47 am - Chocolate Factory
I received 7 Runic Potions, 22 Meteorite Pieces, 24 Gnarled Potions, 22 Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions, 3 Greater Radioactive Blue Potions, 2 Wicked Gnarly Potions and 10 Splintered Wood from 49 Gift Eggs.
I was particularly excited about the Gnarled and Wicked Gnarly potions since I used a lot of those up on this event and I have a feeling I'll need to restock for tournaments which are just around the corner.
fantasia_kitty, Ok first off... that's a lot of loot. Secondly congrats I wish I had that many gift eggs!

EDIT: I caught a Realm Ripper Mouse today, because I'd heard that they dropped a bonus egg. They did! It contained 1 Divine Orb, 3 Runes, and 20 Stale cheese. I have updated my loot tally!!!!
I'm posting this spreadsheet here so that I can find it. It has all the eggs and who drops them

Thanks for the spreadsheet! (*really wishes she had more gift eggs, and the Hare Razer)

Well, I'd been hesitant to smash my eggs because they're so pretty, and I can always get all of that stuff elsewhere. But I came to a super nerdy compromise.... I took a screenshot. Then I smashed them.
I got lots of great stuff out of them (see DiGs's list above).
Who all is collecting the specialty eggs now? So far I've got a Pirate Egg and am currently working on the Cherry Mouse Egg and the Whisker Woods egg.
how do you get the specialty eggs? can you get them only after you catch the Hare Razer?

That's correct, elle. (or more specifically, once you get the rabbit mallot).
Even though all of these eggs are around, I've been hanging out in the catacombs. I need gold. . . so sue me

Ooo...nice idea FK, I'll have to remember that.
Digs, aren't all of the catacombs mice in the factory? *makes sure the lawyer gets this in writing...*
So I finally got the Egg Painter... Which means I just need the Hare razor.... which is being a pain to attract... this time I'm gonna try collecting 5 peices of marmallow montery and then go after him...
EDIT! I take back my earlier said statement as well it appears as though you can get the Hare Razor with Dark Chocolate charms, either that or my trap effectiveness button is glitching...

They are, wolf, but you have to use the dark chocolate charms to attract them. Those are 600 gold each, meaning that your profit margin is severely hampered.
You can make much more in the catacombs, where you don't need a charm to attract these guys. (seriously, I've made 72K so far today)

the hare razer mouse is proving to annoy me...
I've been trying since yesterday to get it but no luck...

That's only if you have a trap that you can catch them with... ( ) Since I don't I am continueing my quest for the Hare Razor and I'm going to run a few... shall we say... experiments

I caught the Hare Razor by using ACRONYM + Candy Cane Base. I'd use the strongest trap setup you can, also keeping luck in mind. ACRONYM + Candy Cane Base gives a good amount of power, and a really good luck rating. Wolf, you might do the best with your birthday candle kaboom trap due to the high luck rating. If you have any power charms, you might tack one of those on too.
Elle, I used the same setup you did. . . so just be patient

Anyone else having trouble getting the Wavy Purple Egg? I've been at it for several days now and still no luck. D:
For me, I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday, and along the way, lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you. - Neil deGrasse Tyson
I think that the wavy purple is going to be the toughest, PR. I caught three pirate mice before I got one that dropped the egg. You might try hunting in one of the other areas (a spreadsheet with the eggs is located on page 81 of this thread).
After you get the purple, the pink and gold eggs will be a piece of cake (and it's also quite possible to finish the new area within a few hours). So there's still hope
