EDIT! I went back to the Pinnacle Chamber and got the Golden Egg as well... Off to the Chocolate Factory for me

Got the egg in the Pinnacle Chamber with Gilded cheese!! Finally! And congrats to Kat, who got it just after I did!!

To everyone who is headed to the Pinnacle Chamber to get the Pink Scalloped Egg! Make sure you stay there because the Hapless mouse drops the Golden Egg too... I wasted like 4000 gold by traveling back there from the mountain, and then forgetting to use Larry's Travels when going to the Factory. And when you do get to the Factory keep your eyes out for the shops

Oh well, I travelled back to the mountain. I'll probably get my gold egg before too long. Either way, I think I'll spend the night in the catacombs and head into the chocolate factory tomorrow morning.

EDIT: And I nabbed the golden egg off of a Ninja mouse. So it's back to the catacombs for me, for a night of gold earning (Perhaps I'lll break the 900K threshhold!), and I shall head into the chocolate factory first thing in the morning!

Finally got my golden egg and am safe in the Factory, although the Gold-earning capabilities of the Catacombs does tempt me. Somehow I don't think I'm ready for it yet, though. At any rate, it's off to bed I go.

I got mine as well. I have set up to hunt in the Chocolate shop and already caught one of the new event mice.

What cheese should we be using in the factory? What trap is everybody using?

I've currently got ACRONYM paired with my Molten Shrapnel base. I'm using Brie with those dark chocolate creepy looking charms .

From what I understand, any basic cheese will work. Brie and Swiss are available in the cheese shoppe. I'm using Acronym+magma+chocolate charms+SB at the moment. I'll likely switch to Brie in a bit.

I'm using Brie right now, but you want the event mice to drop Marshmallow Montery cheese... that's what the Hare Razer is attracted to (He drops the mallet to crack the eggs), but to get him you have to disarm your Dark Chocolate Charms other wise I would use them, as you'll get more of the high paying mice that way. I caught the Coco Commander and the Eggsplosive Scientist so far...

Edit my two setups are:

Sinister Portal+ Explosive Base+ Dark Chocolate Charm+ Brie

and

Ambush+ Bamboozler Base+ Marshmallow Montery

Ok, so I need to retract a statement I made earlier about if you're not catching shadow/forgotten mice, you're doing something wrong, cause that's not the case.

If you have Dark Chocolate Charms armed, you'll attracted the Shadow/Forgotten mice and get a whole lot more money and points out of the event, but it doesn't make a difference one way or another on whether or not you attract any of the event mice. If you don't have the charms equipped, you'll catch Meadow level mice instead but you can still catch the special event mice as well.

I have once again been having a load of trouble with event mice (cause I've always been unlucky that way ) and have taken the charms off so I can just use my huge Monstrobot instead of the wimpy ACRONYM trap (It missed the scientist!!!). I've only caught the Coco Commander after several hours of hunting, which is a bit annoying. *reminds self to stop whining and be patient*

ETA: Then again, maybe I whine so much because it works! LOL. I just caught Hare Razer. Still need the Scientist and the Painter though. I also smashed my Gift Eggs to see if I'd get ported out of the area. I didn't. After I catch the other two mice I'll smashed the other nine eggs.

I've gotten the Coco Commander Mouse and the Eggsplosive Scientist Mouse so far. Still need the Egg Painter, but I'm hoping to have this event finished by the end of the day. I'm excited to see what's inside of these eggs!

That's a bit ironic, because I got mine with the Sinister Portal, which to my knowledge is pretty inferior to the ACRONYM, of course I also missed the Egg Painter with it

So, I finally have all the ingredients to craft the RhinoBot (and I smashed my DrillBot)...only to realize I need 16,000,000 points to craft it and I only have a little less than 12 million...So now I'm without a good physical trap...Genius, Chloe, genius.

Right now, I'm trying to go after all the eggs. I'm stuck on the wavy purple egg...and then I have to get the pink scalloped one.

I think you can re-assemble your Digby Drillbot. All you have to do is act like you're crafting something, and just use the Digby Drillbot parts as the only ingredient.
