With RB cheese you don't have that undulation, but your cost is that you waste some time collecting potions.

You are negating a couple very important costs in your figures. The first is that RB potions cost 300g per cheese to convert. Second, Ancient attracts mice that are worth a lot more gold. And while I fully admit that if you go in there with 100RB and 100Ancient, your profit will be higher with RB, but just barely. That's why I feel like you make more money with Ancient, you don't have to spend a lot of time collecting potions in the lab from mice worth 500g a piece. That's my theory anyways.... sure seems to work for me.

I made it to Wave 4 for a second time. I'm hoping to be on when I get through the warden mice so I can arm an ultimate luck charm and see if that makes an influence on whether or not the warmonger drops another trap part or not.

Congrats Kat! I'm gonna be doing the same thing this time around with the Ultimate Luck Charm. I'm praying, PRAYING he drops a second sandblasted metal so I can get the Monstrobot. I know it's a pretty long shot on that, but you never know. Maybe I'll get lucky.

I'll let you know if it works. I'm down to 2 wardens. I equipped a regular luck charm and caught 3 back to back. I have no idea if that had any influence or not.

Between the leftovers from last time and the stuff that's been dropping from the wardens, I'm up to 67 flameshards and 10 simple orbs. I may see about wave 1 after I finish this round and then move over to the meadow or some place that the eggs will drop for the weekend tonight or tomorrow.

FBF was super-duper short today as they are working on fixing some bugs... ok, really just one, the gifting system. Apparently last night several thousand Scrambles were being sent each minute and it crashed the system. So they hope to get that up and running later today.
The only other interesting bit of news was that the next egg will be released tomorrow, not today. I will definitely be done with the next wave of the Fiery Warpath by then so....

By the way, when the gifting system does come back up, I don't need any more gift eggs and I don't need any more Scrambles. I'm good on both of those.

Still no egg... I'm wondering if I should try one of the furoma regions... there's less mice there

I made it to the "Recruit" level. Last night, I was watching a movie so in order to get out of being a Novice really fast, I just paused the movie every minute and hunted again.

Now, I'm just hunting and buying stuff. I'm guessing I won't be able to find all the eggs because it'll take time to level up enough to be able to reach all the regions.

Oh, and I was trying to decide whether to download Google Chrome or Firefox so I googled them. And I discovered that I was still using IE 8. So I downloaded IE 9 and now everything is working so much better.

narnian_at_heart, I'm glad to hear that Unfortunately IE9 isn't an option for me because my school's websites aren't compatible with it yet... and I need them for HW.

Yeah, as of when I typed that, it was only showing '1' in my inventory even though I had accepted several. Now it's showing a whole bunch so I retract my earlier statement about Gift Eggs. I still don't need Scrambles though.

Ok, the Blue Argyle Egg has just been released. I haven't checked the forums yet to see where it is, I'll let you all know if I stumble across it.

ETA: I've seen one person successfully get it today so far and they got it ...

ETA 2: I just caught said mouse in said location and it's clearly not a 100% drop rate as I didn't get the egg.

For the lower level people, the Great Gnarled Tree I hear is a good place to go for a blue egg as well.

Question: Do I have to return to the Bazzar to pick up my map when it's done? If so, I hope the mouse that I'll have to get as part of the event will be hiding out there when I have to pick up the map...

They update them with the location and the mouse that drops the unlocked eggs.

The Stripy Red Egg has been released! Since my husband and I have been having so much luck with the Catacombs, I think he's gonna head there, and I'm gonna head to the Forbidden Grove (as soon as it opens in a couple hours). I'll let everybody know if either of us catch anything.

ETA: First confirmed catch I've seen today.
