Does anyone have any advice for catching the Monster Mouse? I've been hunting him with my Birthday Candle Kaboom, Dehydration Base, and Radioactive Blue Cheese, but so far I've only attracted one, and I missed.

The Monster Mouse is a tough one, silver. Not only is he REALLY strong, but he's pretty rare too. No real advice on catching him other than equip your strongest trap and hope for the best.

Chances are you'll have trouble catching him with a physical set up too. I think you'd be more likely nabbing him with a shadow or arcane trap.

EtJ, I forgot to mention that while you get your map repaired you can't hunt in that area...until you pick it up again...

I believe you can also always attempt to get another Tattered Mouseleum map piece, the same way you got the first one, I don't know if it'll happen in five days though

I'm not going to paint it quite as bleak as DiGs. The Monster Mouse is a very hard mouse, but your location and setup are good. You have about a 1/5 chance of catching him with that setup. Using one of the shadow traps available to you now would give you about a 1/11 chance. If you want to up your chances even further, you could equip a luck charm.

Hello Narnian_at_heart! You've managed to pick probably the worst time ever to try the game. They just released the start of the Easter event today and it is beyond sluggish right now cause everybody is logging on to play. They've also been having a few bugs due to a Facebook update a couple weeks ago.

You might try going to http://www.mousehuntgame.com . You'll still log in with your Facebook login and the account will be connected to Facebook, but since that link is hosted offsite from Facebook, it tends to run better.

Out of curiosity, what browser do you use? (Please don't say Internet Explorer. )

narnian_at_heart, You may want to download chrome... you will still be able to use IE if you want to. Like right now I've got 2 tabs (one being NW) open in IE, and a tab (MH) open on Chrome. Chrome is a bit faster, but IE has a nicer layout IMO. However do as you wish And good luck in the game!

Thanks for the advice, FK and DiGs! I decided to just keep going with the setup I had since my Shadow trap is pretty weak...and when I checked my feed this morning, I had caught it!

Are you hunting in the catacombs, wolf? I heard that he was only dropping it in the catacombs. . . not the mousesoleum.

At any rate, I still haven't gotten the first egg

I picked up the one egg in the meadow last night. I also picked up all the profile eggs.

I made it to Wave 4 for a second time. I'm hoping to be on when I get through the warden mice so I can arm an ultimate luck charm and see if that makes an influence on whether or not the warmonger drops another trap part or not.

I just dropped 92K on ionized salt. . . . . ouch . I've forgotten just how painful that stuff is. Perhaps that's why I prefer to hunt with Radioactive Bleu Cheese in the catacombs. Crafting Ancient cheese requires you to do a great deal of undulation (make 100K, spend 50K for more salt, make 150K, spend 75K for more salt, make 200K, spend 100K on more salt). With RB cheese you don't have that undulation, but your cost is that you waste some time collecting potions.

At any rate, both seem to work well when it comes to attracting gold. Neither, however, has helped me to attract an egg . It looks as if I'm going to have rather wrotten luck with this too
