I used up all of my radioactive blue cheese, and am now back in the gauntlet with about 230 pieces of tier 3 cheese remaining, and 84 pieces of tier 4 cheese stockpiled. We shall see how things progress from here.
I suppose I need to start farming radioactive blue potions again so that I can make some more. Or I could buy some ionized salt (but that gets really painful, really quickly)

Well I have since traveled back to the Lagoon, I did manage to catch the Ooze and Keeper's Assistant while I was at the Catacombs. I also picked up the Bamboozler Base while I was in the area... And upon my return I caught a Troll. Still no Hydra yet though... are you all sure I'm not missing something?

Well, still in Mousoleum, I reached Grandmaster this morning! Yay! Is there any one area that's best to head to next at this point?

You're using the Ambush Trap right? Yeah, the hydra is going to be very hard. In fact, when I was there, I made so much money I ended up just buying the Ship Blueprints before I ever caught the Hydra.
The Hydra Mouse is a hydro type and the best trap you have is tactical, hence the difficulty.

I can't prove it, but I'm quite convinced that you make more money crafting Ancient Cheese and skipping the Laboratory than you do farming potions for forever and then using Radioactive Blue.
Well, yesterday I spent almost 1,000,000g on supplies for... stuff. Charms, cheese, charms from my friends, a Digby Drillbot, more charms off of the Marketplace... yeah. So that's everything I can get for the Monstrobot without the rest of my runs and drops from the Fiery Warpath.
I should be done with Wave 3 tomorrow (I hope). Wave 4 will go fast. Currently at ...

I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 1 lb. 11 oz. Hydra Mouse worth 9,640 points and 5,760 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot:
9 Splintered Wood, 2 Simple Orbs and 1 Ship Blueprints
Hah! I have vengence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Congrats Wolf!!!
Well, I have to admit that I'm quite bummed out tonight. I completed my second run of the Warpath and didn't get a single trap piece drop off of the Warmonger Mouse. Ah well. Starting run three! (After this I'll be able to unlock the Monstrobot.... course I'll need the second sandblasted metal but still....)
My weekend was thoroughly uneventful, having spent most of my time in the gauntlet. I am down to 161 pieces of Tier III cheese, and have 108 pieces of Tier IV. I'd like to get at least 150 pieces of Tier IV (even though FK only caught 111 mice, and so I'm close to that). Catching a bunch of eclipse mice would be oh so nice.

Outside of the Hydra mine has been rather uneventful as well, I've been buying a few items that he didn't drop, and recently headed to the Mouseleum to farm some gold. I have a few questions though:
-What if any mice do I need from the Catacombs?
-How many locations will the S.S. Huntington II unlock and what do I need to catch from those?
-When will it be "safe" to go after the Dojo Sensi, the Silth, hunt in the Catacombs, or the Town of Digby?

I sure hope so. I'll place a bet now that you'll get 2.
What if any mice do I need from the Catacombs?
Aside from catching them all for the sake of catching them I assume? The Keeper Mouse drops the Forbidden Grove/Acolyte Realm map piece. Terror Knight and Scavenger mice drop Scrap Metal.
How many locations will the S.S. Huntington II unlock and what do I need to catch from those?
I'm not quite sure I understand the question here so hopefully this is the answer you're looking for. The S.S. Huntington II will get you the map to the Tribal Isles (Cape Clawed, Nerg Plaines, Elub Shore, Derr Dunes, Jungle of Dread, and Dracano). You need the Captain Mouse, the Shipwrecked Mouse, and the Bottled Mouse to craft the Tribal Islands map piece.
When will it be "safe" to go after the Dojo Sensi...
At least the Horrific Venus Mouse Trap and I'd recommend the Tiki Base as well.
... the Silth...
At least the Ancient Spear Gun and Tiki Base. But this guy is (imho) the hardest mouse in the game. You may want to wait for the Heat Bath and Molten Shrapnel Base.
...hunt in the Catacombs...
You can go there now, but make sure you buy the Obelisk of Slumber upon arrival.
... or the Town of Digby?
DiGs successfully completed this location with the ACRONYM trap.
And I did VERY well in there too. Seriously, using ACRONYM, that area was a piece of cake. I missed very few mice (only the upper level ones really).

Wow! Today has been a fantastic day for me in the Mousehunt world! I've been hunting in the Lagoon. I caught the Hydra Mouse overnight, and then I came back this afternoon to find I'd nabbed the BLACK WIDOW too! I nearly fell out of my seat, I was so shocked.

My goodness this thread has suddenly become quiet lately. But then again, there haven't been any special events, no recent updates, there have been a lot of bugs, but who wants to talk about those?
But I think a good portion of the people who posted in here regularly have hit the Tribal Isles where there's not much to talk about. Just farming points and gold.

Cool! Did the Hydra drop the Ship Blueprints?
...and then I came back this afternoon to find I'd nabbed the BLACK WIDOW too!
Yay!!! Congratulations!! I've started noticing that the Lagoon has a rather high attraction/catch rate for Black Widows. Especially if you're using Wicked Gnarly Cheese.
Well, I'm mostly over my moping from not getting any new trap parts after my second run through the Fiery Warpath (mostly ). To make up for it, my third run through the Fiery Warpath is going really well so far. I caught the Gargantuamouse which is the last non-event mouse I needed, so I have all of the mice again. I also flew through Wave 1 and am making good progress on Wave 2. So my current progress is ....
Run 3, Wave 2, 32-4-33-39-14
If I can clear the Scouts (4) and Archers (33) before bedtime, I'll be very happy indeed!
Hey Kat, have you been timing your runs from start to finish? Cause I haven't been and have no idea how long it's taking me.
Nope. But my run seems to have flip flopped from last time. Good wave 2, bad wave 3. Now it's bad wave 2, good wave 3. I know it's more than a week, but less than two. That's about as close to a guesstimate as I can give.
Congrats on the Garga!
Congrats Silver on the black widow!
Does anybody know anything about this new event that seems to be coming up soon? It looks as if a beehive shaped bakery/factory has appeared in Gnawnia?
Has anything been said in FBF about upcoming events?

Yep! I'm not quite sure what to do with them, though?

Oh, interesting! I was using just the normal Gnarly Cheese, though.
Congrats on your Gargantuamouse!
