@dotK, Congrats on your ship!! :D You have either the ETR or DDA right? About the only thing you'll need money for then is cheese. :)

@DiGs, Yeah, the problem is that it shouldn't have been that low of a drop rate. It's not as good as getting Tier 3 potions, but out of 50 mice, he should have gotten at least 8 Tier 4 potions (by my guesstimation). Ah well.

Soooo.... this just popped up on my MH page.

A game update will be applied shortly. The game may be unavailable for several minutes while the update is applied.

*crosses all fingers and toes for the new Baron area*
I'm not going to get anything done today if it is. :))

ETA: *waves at wolf, her simul-posting buddy.* ;)

ETA: Well, the new Baron area is here, and horror of horrors it looks like I'm gonna have to catch another Silth Mouse to get in. Blast!!! Something somewhere drops a Sandtail Call to Arms map piece. Or perhaps it's craftable. The devs aren't saying. :P

In the meantime, I'm checking out the new traps (you can see them by going to your profile, clicking 'traps' and then 'uncollected'), looks like there's four new ones. No new bases.

And 19 new mice of The Marching Flame.... which look most interesting and humorous. ;))

Well the new area is here, but I'm not gonna be able to go there in a while... In the meantime I'll satisfy myself with reading all the new mice descriptions...

I've been trying for two days to catch the hydra
(especially this one so I can craft the ship), troll, harpy and silth mice... with no luck. I ran out of gnarly and wicked gnarly yesterday and I've been trying to replenish my stock but I haven't had any potion drops... I'm thinking I might head back to Furoma and try out the pinnacle chamber, once I get enough of what ever it was that I needed over there. I almost headed to the Town of Digby this past weekend, but I'm also out of limelight and crafting the Ambush trap has left me low on gold. I still need to repair the mouseleum map too... and I'm gonna level up soon again :-ss So basically my question is:

What do I do now?!!!

Have fun all of you Barons (or rather. . . Baronesses) ;)).

I'm up to 85 pieces of Tier III cheese thus far! I'm quite impressed with how well I'm doing in there!

Wolf, I wouldn't advise going after the Dojo Sensei with only the ambush trap. You will lose :P

Thanks for that advice Digs, does that mean I should hold off on the pinnacle chamber for now?

Woah! They updated the camp page... looks cool :)

No. You can catch Masters of the Dojos with the ambush trap and you'll need an onyx stone for the ACRONYM trap. You'll also need additional stones for the onyx gorgonzola cheese.

What do I do now?!!!

My suggested order based on your interests would be...
~Get the Master of the Dojo in the Pinnacle Chamber (come back for the Sensei later)
~Start the repair for your Mousoleum Map when you can afford it (I think it takes 5 days)
~Catch the Hydra in the Lagoon (come back for the Silth later)
~Level to Legendary
~Hit the Catacombs and get your ACRONYM trap
~Catch the Digby Dirt Dwellers with the ACRONYM trap

*continues trying to catch the mouse that drops the map piece for the new area*

ETA: 3:27 pm - Seasonal Garden
I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 1 lb. 0 oz. Spring Familiar Mouse worth 9,072 points and 760 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 Sandtail Call to Arms

Yay!!! :D

Thank you FK :)

I think it only takes 3 days to repair the mouseleum map, though I'm not positive, I can't remember off the top of my head... either way the advice is all greatly appreciated thanks again Digs, kat and FK!

Edit!

Hmmm... I have found one teensy tiny problem with the new camp page setup... the Trap Effectiveness button doesn't work properly it pops up but when I try to scroll it doesn't work right so I can't see all the mice there :/ Grrr. I liked that button X(

I noticed a very intriguing line in the ticker this morning....

Invented by the Scientists at Digby... the new Enraged RhinoBot rules the Tribal Isles!

I haven't looked to see if anyone has actually discovered the recipe yet, but that line sure leads me to believe it's available for lower leveled people (re: lower than the new Baron area) to make Derr Dunes a lot less of a headache. :)

Well, the new Fiery Warpath is a very interesting area. I don't want to give away too many spoilers, but I will say that finally there is another area that has a use for the Draconic Trap. :)

And in other news, as of when I type this, the game is lagging to death. ;)) Only half of my page has loaded... which is weird because it was working fine 10 min ago. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. But I can still sound my horn! That's what's important. :P

ETA: For those who are interested, Kat pointed out to me that the recipe for the Enraged Rhinobot has been discovered. :) I don't think it's up on the Wiki yet.

Mats:

3 Rhino Horns
1 Rhino Part
48 Stale SB
6 Platinum Bars

Stats:

Power: 5900
Type: Physical
Power Bonus: 10%
Attraction Bonus: none
Luck: 20
Cheese Effect: Insanely Stale

*peeks in* Guess I'll start posting here now. I've been playing Mouse Hunt for about 2ish months.

I'm currently in the Calm Clearing, but I can't catch the Cyclops mouse. Should I go somewhere else and come back to it later or continue to try and catch it?

Hi Melian_Maia! :)

Well, I've got two questions for you. What setup are you using? (Trap, base, charms, cheese) And do you have the map piece for the Laboratory yet?

The Cyclops Mouse is the first mouse in the game that's hard to catch, but you have to catch him to move on. (You probably knew that already.) Sometimes it can take several days to catch him so patience is usually the way to go. :)

I do have the Laboratory map piece.

Alright, your setup is great. If you want, you can save up your gold for the NVMRC or Deathbot trap (I prefer the first) and come back later so if you do finally attract the Cyclops you're more likely to catch him.

If you just need a break, you can always hit the Laboratory to start unlocking stuff there and come back to the Calm Clearing later. Up to you.

You will probably need to catch the Cyclops Mouse and unlock the Great Gnarled Tree before heading into the Furoma area if you're looking for a time frame. (Laboratory -> Town of Digby -> Mousoleum -> Training Grounds in Furoma)

But you're definitely not doing anything wrong with the Cyclops Mouse. He's just rare and hard to catch. :)

Oh, and congrats on hitting Master since it looks like you just got there. ;)

Okay. I bought the Digby Drillbot. Now I've been hunting in the Derr Dunes (and doing HORRIBLY...), but I've only stuck around so I can get 30 delicious stones. 1 more to go!

My goal right now is to get the Rhino Horn, so I'm gonna go after the Aged mouse with Crunchy cheese. :)

If it seems like a bad idea, stop me before I try. :P ;))

Chloe, with the Rhinobot, you are set up for crafting the new Enraged Rhinobot in the future. So it sounds like you are on the right path. :D

I topped 100,000,000 in points! The new section is definitely good on points.
