So, I'm hanging out in the Catacombs, trying to get enough gold. I've had all the items for a few days, but have neglected to post that fact. As soon as I get enough gold, I'll be heading back to the party, and farming orbs. So, I'll take cupcake potions!!!

Today's gift of the day was a Teddy Bear. I couldn't help it, I sent out Teddys (to everyone who didn't already have one that is...). They're so cute and squeezable.... in a virtual way of course.
Oh, and I already have one, so no need to return the favor.

So I haven't missed a mouse in 9 hours, thanks to my trap and various cheese and charm setup. And only 2 all day. I am very pleased with this and am both nervous and excited to see whether my trap will do as well in other regions. I need to buy some curds + whey (or maybe someone will send me enough to buy the base)..... or maybe I don't need it.

Ooh. From reading the thread I see I may need some scrap metal soon. I just got some in a one of those birthday gift drops.

No to see if I can get enough gold/items to buy this trap before the event closes...

I'm also trying to scale back on the cupcake colby, although I'm getting quite a few potions from the drops. I think maybe I'll make one more batch and then stay at the party when my cupcake colby is gone as I've been making quite a run without it. Plus I think it is the safest place for me right now, as far as making money goes.

According to my impromptu notes, my MH buddies that could still use potions are dotK, qwertykate, Chloe, Bother Eustace, PrincessRosario, and Bookwyrm. Does anybody else still want or need potions for the birthday event? How about the Nanny Charms?

For those of you who don't want potions, are there any gifts you would like?

You can keep sending me potions if you want. Even if I don't use them up this year, I will be more than happy to stockpile them for next year as they'll probably use them again then.

So, yeah, I'm going to be staying at the birthday party for a little longer. *sigh* I have two holiday fuses left over from the Winter Hunt, but of course those won't do. Isn't one fuse just like another?

At this point, I'd like to start recieving stale cheese as gifts again. My stockpile of the stuff is still dangerously low .

*deep breath* Alright. As of now, I have the wax, the fuse, and 222k. In a pinch, I could probably sell some of my extra SB+ at the marketplace and get enough gold, but I still need those Birthday Explosives. How much longer do you guys think this event is going to last?

I would guess that the event will last until Tuesday, which is usually the day that they end up closing things. But I could be wrong about this. Do you have any orbs to sell, or any charms to craft (and then sell). That's also a good way of crafting money.

Okay, I bought the new trap. Finally got the explosives a little while ago.

Digs, did you say that the trap would be good for the lower level Derr Tribe mice?

Okay, thanks! Well, I've been selling the orbs as I get them, so I guess I'll just have to be patient until I find more. Also, the price of orbs is dropping like a stone due to the event, I guess.
