Well having successfully caught my Cherry Mouse I moved to the Lab to farm Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions and Gold...

I just counted my net gain for the last few hours. I made about $18K in 3 hours.

I actually did decently in Derr Dunes overnight. I managed to catch 6 mice (only one dropped a stone though ), missed 1, had 3 stale cheeses, and 1 no attraction.

Hopefully I'll have enough delicious stones to make some more crunchy cheese by the end of the day. Balack's Cove will be at low tide around two o'clock EST, so I'll probably head in there this afternoon. I want my liches!!!

EDIT: Of course I spoke too soon. . . and am now getting my kiester-kicked in Derr *long sigh of frustration*

I'm working on the stats comparing the Double Diamond Adventure and the Explosive Toboggan Ride right now. I hope to have them done before the weekend.

One thing that might be helpful, LA, is by looking at a 24 hour period (or longer) rather than by measuring via cheese use.

For those of you who are really into stats, there is a cool feature on Furoma.com that does it all for you (though I think DiGs has discovered this already). It's called the Log Summarizer and can be found at in the drop down menu at the top of the page. Looks like this...

All you do is copy and paste your journal entries into the box, enter the cost of your cheese, and hit summarize. You'll get a full page readout that looks like this....(it's so big I had to take two screenshots )

Then you can just copy and paste your numbers into a spreadsheet for future comparisons. The only thing I've found so far that it doesn't take into account is the cost of charms. But that can be figured manually easily enough.

Now if you want to take this a step further, if you scroll just a little farther down, there's a place for you to enter your entire trap setup and submit it to furoma.com and I BELIEVE that's where they get their data for their trap setup pages and such.

Yeah, Digs the Doubter. the reason I think so is because I had 2 and 3 shell drops back to back, and I remember thinking that the two added together equalled the earlier catch.

I'm not measuring by hours but by horn blows. That way, there isn't a discrepancy if I'm blowing the horn a lot. I actually have a spreadsheet for it.

Only parts of it are down right now. A lot of the parts are still up and running (and a few are in beta testing right now).

Personally, I think that this is the worst I have ever done in Derr Dunes. I have hunted here for 19 hours so far, have used 40 pieces of cheese, and have only caught 23 mice. I'm getting profit VERY slowly, and have only managed to get 8 Delicious stones. At this rate, it will take me all weekend to get enough for another batch of crunchy cheese

I had some cheese to sell, so I moved into Digby. Unfortunately, the gold I made from the sale didn't offset the cost of moving there, so rather than lose 500 more gold moving back to the Lab, I'm staying in Digby with my ETR and Explosive Base until I at least earn enough to get back what I lost.

So, for the heck of it, I switched over to the CCT with the MSB today (it's not like I could have done any WORSE in Derr), and actually had a much improved catch rate and loot drop. Previous experience had me doing horribly, so I don't know if my recent stint of good luck is a fluke, or if it's REAL. At either rate, I'm beginning to think that the rhinobot was a HUGE waste of money

With all of my gouda cheese gone, and the tides ebbing in Balack's Cove, I've returned over there with vanilla stilton in hand, waiting to pounce on anybody that comes near!

I usually find it more worthwhile to just hold on to cheese that needs selling until I really need to go to a place where I can sell it. Traveling just to sell cheese is usually a waste of time and funds.

After a rather uneventful stay in Balack's Cove (only one more raisin of wrath. . . which is the ingredient that I need the least right now), I've decided to spend the night in the King's Gauntlet. Apart from that area, there's really nothing I need right now. I've got a good amount of gold, and didn't feel like making more catacombs cheese tonight. . . so all in all, I suppose it's a decent plan (I'd like to be done with the area by the time I reach Lord so that I can concentrate on ZT and SG)

So, I've been hanging out in Elub's Shore. I've caught all the mice in the tribe, excluding the Elder, because he's in Cape Clawed.

I crafted some Shell cheese and baited it. It's gone now, but I got 12 blue pepper seeds!

With all these seeds, I want to plant peppers! But I'll wait.

There's no harm in starting now! You're going to need them in future. Just make sure not to use them all in one way (e.g. don't just make blue peppers). Although there are 7 pepper varieties, blue peppers are used in 4 of them (two blues make a blue pepper, blue + yellow makes a green pepper, blue + red makes a purple pepper, and blue + yellow + red makes an inferno pepper).

During FBF today, the Devs confirmed that the MH Birthday event will be starting today! It will not cost a ton of money, so that everybody can participate, and there will be a few new mice, as well as a new trap.

Birthday event starts TODAY!!! (Provided nothing explodes on their end. )
~The Terrible Twos mouse will make a reappearance and the Nannybot will not be required to catch it. (Though if you have it, you can use it.)
~Whatever they provide as far as new traps/bases, it will be affordable to players of all levels of the game.
~There will be some kind of three-year-old mouse I believe.

Baron area, will be out "soon", should be out before the end of the month.
