11:23 am - Town of Digby
I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 9 oz. Zombie Mouse worth 2,700 points and 2,700 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 Tattered Mousoleum Map

Hah!

That's one thing checked off my very long list to do in very little time.

WOO-HOO! High five, wolf! That's awesome. What's your ETA on getting your shadow trap?

*nabs another piece of scrap metal. . . FORTY more to go!*

FBF Today had some interesting stuff, though nothing really crazy awesome.

~Valentine's Day will probably end Tuesday of next week.
~The new Baron area had to be reworked because of a bug but it should be out before the birthday event (within the next two weeks).
~Birthday event in two weeks, new trap for sure.
~The front page profile is gonna be tweaked soon so it's easier for people like me who have a billion traps to sort them and select them. And the Marketplace will be tweaked as well.
~They're still having trouble with scoreboards on tournaments and that's what's holding them up. They're probably going to be adding groups/teams back into the game and have practice un-scored tournaments just so we can have them again. (yay!!)
~They mentioned this a few weeks ago, but expanded on it today... they're reworking the beginning area both on design as well as teaching newbies how to play, and then from there, they'll be going through each level of the game to do the same tweaks. I don't think this is going to a complete redesign or include any new mice or anything, but rather making sure that people who start playing and don't have um, a whole NarniaWeb forum to tell you what to do :)) can figure out what to do in each area without running to the Wiki. At least that's how I understand it. :) (Sorry, that last paragraph was badly worded, but I'm too tired to think clearly so hopefully you all understand. :)) )

What's your ETA on getting your shadow trap?

Hopefully I'll have it by the end of today or sometime tomorrow, of course- last time I said that it didn't work out to well ;))

So the other map (was it the training grounds?) Is that easier to get from Digby or from the Mouseleum?

@FK Well I understood it :)

Edit more questions!

To add to the one above, which one is also the best in terms of profit?

And where should I use the Gnarled Potions when the time comes?

Edit! Another question:

Wasn't there a torn page somewhere in my area (the Burroughs region)? If so how do I get it? I know they don't help you in the game, but they're fun to read ;))

That's a matter of opinion, but here are my thoughts. The Mole mouse drops the map piece in the Town of Digby. The Lycan mouse drops the map piece in the Mousoleum. The mole mouse is difficult to catch because he's rare. I have yet to even encounter one as of yet. That being said, if you can attract him, you'll probably catch him, because he's not overly difficult. The Lycan mouse is difficult because he's incredibly powerful. You'll probably encounter one or two a day in the mousoleum, but you'll probably get robbed a couple of times before you catch him.

So it really depends. I would advise you to go after the map piece in the mousoleum. That's what I got mine, and while hunting there, you'll turn a decent profit.

Here's another thing to consider. The Venus Mouse Trap costs 299,650 gold. If you have more than 827,500 points to your name, then as soon as you buy the venus mouse trap, you will be able to upgrade it to the mutated venus mousetrap. The recipe can be found here.

Thanks Digs :) *points up to her edits*

Although I need more points (about twice as many) I'll be needing that recipe soon...

Mousoleum

And where should I use the Gnarled Potions when the time comes?

Either the Great Gnarled Tree or the Lagoon. Totally up to you.

Wasn't there a torn page somewhere in my area (the Burroughs region)? If so how do I get it?

Ooooh, you made me go look something up in the Wiki!!! :P :)) The Mole Mouse drops it in the Town of Digby. However, the Mole Mouse is rare, that back cover is even rarer (it's the only one I don't have). I've seen several people catch the Mole Mouse in Digby and never once seen the back cover drop. I have seen two people get the back cover, and both of them got it off of the Burglar Mouse in the Bazaar.

Here's another thing to consider. The Venus Mouse Trap costs 299,650 gold. If you have more than 827,500 points to your name, then as soon as you buy the venus mouse trap, you will be able to upgrade it to the mutated venus mousetrap.

There is yet another option for you to consider wolf, the Training Grounds has Zugzwang's Last Move, a slightly better tactical trap than the Mutated Venus Mouse Trap, but also slightly more expensive (though less points are required). You will have to get both traps eventually, but I wanted to let you know about it so you can decide which one you want first. :)

I just got 2 more pieces of scrap metal! :)

I just need 1 more scrap metal and 59,000 gold and then I can craft the ACRONYM! :) I'd say I'll complete this goal...hopefully by tomorrow. :)

EDIT:

I just got two more pieces! Now all I'm waiting for is gold. :)

Operation Gold seems to be going pretty well, although my Antiskele charm isn't selling in the Market. But with my Swiss, and Bacon Base, as well as Prospector Charms, I've made over 5000 in 3 hrs. in the mountain. Somehow I think I could be doing better, but I'm content.

I finally crafted the ACRONYM! :D

Right now, I'm trying to farm gold. I'm at 18,000g right now. I'll need to get Ionized Salt for Ancient Cheese.

Then, eventually, it's off to the Forbidden Grove for me, where I'll gather runes and money.

And then of course, I'll have to work on crafting my ship. :)

Alright I just need about 5,000 more gold till I can get one of the portals :D

Edit 2/19/11 1:45 PM EST
The good news: I caught a mole mouse
the bad news: he didn't drop any loot

:|

EDIT! (Man, I seem to make a lot of edits here ;)) )

~ Get the Mousoleum Map drop from the Zombie Mouse in the Town of Digby

Check.

~ Get a shadow trap for sure (required for the Mousoleum).

Check.

~ Get the Lagoon Map drop from the Fairy Mouse at the Great Gnarled Tree
~ Get the Training Grounds Map drop from either the Mole Mouse in the Town of Digby or the Lycan Mouse in the Mousoleum
~ OPTIONAL: Get a tactical trap (required for the Training Grounds).
~ OPTIONAL: Upgrade your physical trap.

NOT CHECK!!!!

The good news is I caught 7 new species between yesterday and today, the bad news is I gained about 20% in the process and still have stuff to do... Oi.

As I said up there I got the Mole Mouse at Digby, but he didn't drop anything... I also got the Demolitions and Digby, The Monster, Giant Snail, Ravenous Zombie, Mummy, and the Ghost mice at the Mousleum

Today was a fantastic day for me in MH. First of all, yesterday I finally reached the Journeyman rank. Then I woke up this morning to find that I'd caught my Costumed Rabbit overnight! Later on today, I caught Juliyes and thus completed my event mice! :D

Then I went to hunt at the Mountain, where I promptly caught my first Zombie Mouse and two Ninja Mice, one of whom was kind enough to drop the Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece.

So yeah, I'm pretty happy. :D

Cool. :D Whatcha saving gold for?

Finally crafted the spellbook base.

Hooray!

I finally crafted the ACRONYM!

Yippee!

The good news: I caught a mole mouse

Yay! and Booo!

The good news is I caught 7 new species between yesterday and today, the bad news is I gained about 20% in the process and still have stuff to do... Oi.

I wouldn't worry too much about making sure you have everything done before you level up. Unless you're using SB+ all the time, It's pretty much impossible.

I also got the Demolitions and Digby, The Monster, Giant Snail, Ravenous Zombie, Mummy, and the Ghost mice at the Mousleum

Congrats! :D Especially on that Monster Mouse! So how are you liking the Mousoleum?

Today was a fantastic day for me in MH.

Wow Silver, way to go on leveling, catching new mice (particularly the rest of the event mice), and getting a new map piece to drop. :D What trap setup are you sporting these days?

Today I decided I probably had more than enough points to deal with whatever they throw at me in the new Baron area so I've ditched the Seasonal Garden for a while. ;)) I've headed back over to the Catacombs where I shall probably remain to farm gold until the new area is released.
