Masters are able to hunt in the Mousoleum, Wolf. That's the best place for you to hunt, but you'll need a shadow trap to hunt there.

Well that's another map I have to get isn't it...oi... That ones out till I tackle the fairy in great gnarled tree and the one in the town of digby (zombie?). Thanks for the advice digs :)

;) No problem, wolf.

So, here's a question for the upper ups. What should I do now that I have caught my dragon? I want to keep farming scrap metal and so I'm hanging out in the catacombs, but I don't know what to do next.

Should I go to the Seasonal Garden, or should I head into Balack's Cove?

Balack's Cove. You need to be a Lord before hunting in the Seasonal Garden. Congrats on your Dragons by the way! You'll want Vanilla Stilton for the Cove combined with your Ancient Box Trap.

Thanks Kat! That really helps me to plan out what to do next! I think I'll jump back and forth between the Catacombs and Balack's Cove because I desperately want the molten sharpnel base ;))

I wouldn't jump back and forth. The traveling expenses are pretty steep for those two. Might aim for the scrap metal first.

I think pretty much everybody is done with the Valentine's Event so congrats to everyone on your mice. :D

By the way, what's the best place for a Master to farm gold?

The Mousoleum, no question. It's deceptive because it's the first place you'll go where you get red boxes saying "Vampire Mouse steals 3,000 gold from you!!!" :-o X( But if you tough it out and stay there, you'll see that those mice are worth a ridiculous amount of gold when you catch them. You'll definitely make more money and points than you'll lose. :)

First of all, congrats on the Dragons DiGs. :D I had a gut feeling you'd snag them right away. Why? Because all the mice I had a hard time with you catch on your first shot. :))
Second, I'M GONNA DISAGREE WITH KAT!!! :O ;)) Well, sort of. ;)) Balack's Cove is very much like the Acolyte Realm. The ABT is better at catching the three Lich mice which drop the pieces you need to craft the cheese to catch Balack (Dojo much?). But only JUST BARELY better (seriously, it's like... 3%). The ACRONYM trap is better at catching all of the other mice by a lot. So I'd recommend the ACRONYM trap instead. But play around with them and see which you prefer. :)
Out of curiosity, how many Pinch of Annoyance, Bottle of Rage, and Raisins of Wrath do you have?

As a side note.... my corkboard is broken. I've written MH support and they fix it and it rebreaks a few days later. If any of you need to contact me, please do so via Facebook PM instead of MH corkboard.

I noticed that! I was looking at your hunter's profile and I glanced at your corkboard to see that the top entry was from Boe, but had been written like 2 months ago! I was confused. :P

In other news, I have not gotten a single piece of scrap metal since yesterday night. :P Ah, well. The sad thing is, I've caught the Terror Knight Mouse and the Scavenger Knight Mouse quite a few times, but they never drop loot...

I have zero bottles of rage, two raisins of wrath, and one pinch of annoyance. . . . so pretty much zilch :P

I had wrotten luck in the Catacombs last night as well. I managed to catch three Scavenger mice, but they all dropped Ancient Potions (which are worthless). Ah well. . . I only need 49 more pieces of it :-s

Eek, 49 pieces! I shouldn't be complaining about my 7 then! ;) :P

Finally got the Juliyes Mouse!!! Wahoo I caught all the event mice that I can...

Ok so if I can't/won't go to the Mouseleum, where's the next best place to farm gold?

I would say the Mountain. You'll get a higher percentage of gold and diamond mice, and a fairly high drop rate of orbs (which you can sell on the marketplace)

But wolfy can't go to the mountain yet, digs.

Wolf, what areas CAN you access? That might help us advise you.

Well, I just got 3 more pieces of scrap metal! :)

I need 4 more pieces of scrap metal and about 150,000 more gold and then I can craft the ACRONYM! :D Though, I think I'll wait until I have more than enough gold before I buy the blueprints, so I'm not completely wiped of gold...

Wolf, you're a master aren't you? You only need to obtain journeyman rank to be able to hunt in the mountain, Lady A.

Well, I just got 3 more pieces of scrap metal

Here is an idea that I had earlier today. The Digby Drillbot, when used against a steel mouse, occasionally gives scrap metal as a loot drop. It's a unique ability that the trap has, as regularly steel mice don't drop scrap metal.

For that reason, I went ahead and purchased the Digby Drillbot today (it costs just over four hundred thousand gold). I did this because A: it should help me farm scrap metal more quickly. B: it's not a bad physical trap as far as physical traps go (and those of you who don't have the Christmas Cracker Trap or the Pneumatic Tube Trap are going to need it I'd wager), and C: It is used both in the Rhinobot as well as the Cackle Lantern Traps, meaning that it's recyclable.

So. . . consider that as an option.
