I crafted my ancient box trap today! Yay!!!!! I'm now broke again (down to 1,333 gold ;)) ). And will be saving up to buy some ionized salt (so I can make runic cheese). Tomorrow. . . I go after an acolyte!!!!!

So, I caught two Dojo Sensei Mice last night. One dropped an Onyx Stone and the other dropped the Onyx Mallet blueprints. And then 16 other Dojo Sensei stole cheese from me. ;))

I just purchased the repaired Mousoleum map so in five days I'll have a new location to hunt at. In the meantime, I am trying to figure out if there's something I should be doing. For instance, should I be trying to get more Onyx Stones to craft the Onyx Mallet? Should I work on crafting the Ship? Decisions, decisions.......right now I'm hanging out in the Bazaar cause the last time I was here the Burglar and Master Burglar kept dropping Brie and gold.

Well I would have leveled up tonight but I haven't caught a mouse since 3:30 this afternoon :(

Aww, I'm sorry. I've had days like that.

Thanks. I started having a little bit better luck overnight, but I forgot to check how much cheese I had left and soon ran out. I replenished it this afternoon, but now I'm not catching anymore mice XD (only three tries so far though). I've tried everything switching locations, traps, bases, cheese, charms. I guess I'm just gonna have to wait it out. I must have jinxed myself when I said I'd be leveling up soon ;)) Ah well.

So, I went to the Dojo. I can't remember if it was last night or this morning... :P =))

I've caught all 3 students. :) I also crafted some of the cheese for the masters, so that I would have the recipes ready for when I really need them.

I still need to catch a Worker mouse and an Assassin mouse before I move on. Oh, and get more tokens. :P

I don't think I have to consider crafting the Ambush trap, since I have the Rewers. Do I?

Chloë, I think the Riposte should be fine. The Ambush is one of my favorite traps, though. ;)) Ronza's traps are usually preferable to the in-game traps.

I just looked it up! I can see why it's one of your favorites! =))

Um, I think MH Wiki needs an update:

Master Upon reaching the rank of Master, the player is eligible to hunt in the Laboratory, Town of Digby, and Mousoleum locations of the Burroughs region, and the Great Gnarled Tree location of the Whisker Woods region, assuming they have collected the proper loot. It is also the first ranking at which Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions and Gnarled Potions can be collected and used. The Master's crafting abilities also increase. The rank of Master is signified by a purple shield.

emphasis added

*Is a Journeyman, has multiple pieces of radioactive blue cheese poitions, and has used enough to make twenty pieces of cheese.*

It also starts this chart at Master http://mhwiki.hitgrab.com/wiki/index.ph ... ese_Potion

I just find that a bit funny ;))

Edit: I might have gotten them all during the last Ronza visit...but even if that's the case it still needs an update.

EDIT 2!!!

Well I just switched to the mouse trebuchet, wooden base with target, swiss cheese, and no charms.

so far I caught 2/3 mice- and one of those was my third Cyclops, who dropped a simple orb and a cherry potion (which I am saving), the other was a Frog Mouse. 97.57% ... I'm getting there...

Edit 3!!!

I caught my first Eagle Owl Mouse using the mouse rocketine, wooden base with target and swiss cheese. It dropped a cherry cheese potion too :D

99.99% SO CLOSE!!!

EDIT 4!!!!!

I am now a Master!!! Great Gnarled Tree here I come :D

Well, I have my ancient box trap equipped with my runic base, and a power charm. 23 pieces of runic cheese sit on the trap, and I am poised to catch an acolyte!

*is excited!!!!*

Well, I've just launched out into the seas of Rodentia. Here's a recording of my departure.

Yeah, its pretty crazy. Anyway, I'm using the Toboggan with the firecracker base and gouda. I figured that, since I only have 57 pieces of gouda, it'll keep me from wanting to keep checking my phone to see how I'm doing. ;)) I had to spend a bit more money than I was planning to get my ship and get out to sea, so I'll have to wait a bit before upgrading to the Double Diamond, which is what I want to do next.

I really should have hung around in the catacombs for another five days (I make about 100,000 every day in there), but I just got tired of it. ;)) Oh well! :P

I'm not, Wolf. Are you playing from Facebook? Or from http://www.mousehuntgame.com ? Sometimes if one page isn't working, the other one works!

Well, pretty soon I'll be able to afford the Venus trap. And I'm over a quarter of the way through Legendary. I'm not sure if I have all the equipment necessary to upgrade my ETR anymore, though. I guess we'll see.

At the moment FB, but their other site hasn't been connecting to FB accounts, including mine. I just checked...I don't want to start over :-s so I'll mess with FB, it might actually be my connection or something, cause I was having problems with another game, but then why did the tiny mouse page show up?

Edit: I traveled to the Laboratory from the Great Gnarled Tree for a number of reasons:

1) I caught the eagle owl mouse in the Calm Clearing
2) I can't afford the venus mouse trap yet
3) I was more likely to get the key to the town of digby than the lagoon (?) map peice (I just did by the way)
4) I've been longing to get the mutated Grey and white mice since I was an initiate

My first attempt at catching an acolyte was pretty much pathetic. I kept getting robbed over and over again, but in the end managed to catch the Wight mouse. I didn't even attract an acolyte, nor did I attract a Lich.

So this morning I headed over to the bazaar for some more ionized salt (buying that stuff is a PAIN!) and made 30 Ancient cheese and 20 more runic cheese. That took my rune supply down to 53, so I'm currently hunting in the grove to build-up my supply again (after all. . . I do want to craft my ice-maiden trap don't I ;) )

Okay, so I've caught every mouse in the Dojo except for the Assassin and the Worker.

I know the Worker needs superbrie+, but I don't really want to use my sb+ yet...

It says that the Assassin is very difficult to catch. Am I able to catch it with the Rewers or should I not even bother trying to catch it now? Maybe I should try some charms?

Also, since I'm very curious and impatient, I crafted combat, glutter and susheese and headed for the Meditation Room. :P I've caught the Masters of the Cheese Belt and Claw. :)
