You have to rebuild the charm shoppe?! I imagine that took some work

Yep, you have to rebuild five shoppes in the Muridae Market: The Cheese Shoppe, the General Store (which was the first one I built), the Trapsmith, the Charm Shoppe (which I just finished last night), and the Cartographer. I've got two out of five of them done but I don't really need any of the other three right now.
My primary goal at the moment is to get the other two traps from the Fiery Warpath that I don't have yet. (The Sphynx and the Oasis.)
As I start to run low on cheese again (or I get another victory in the Warpath, whichever comes first), I'll head back to the Market to rebuild the Cheese Shoppe so I'm not traveling across the world of Mousehunt to restock.
In the meantime, I'm just about done with Wave 2. Only 11 more Cavalry Mice to go!
ETA @ June 7 9:42am CST:
Well they added a new base to the game, and at first I was like "YEAH!!! So getting this!!!" Til I looked at the stats and I don't think I'm quite as hyped about it as I originally was....
New Papyrus Base....
Papyrus Base
Power: 400
Power Bonus: none
Attraction Bonus: none
Luck: 10
Cheese Effect: Fresh
Spellbook Base
Power: 500
Power Bonus: 14%
Attraction Bonus: 5%
Luck: 7
Cheese Effect: Fresh
Magma Base (LE)
Power: 300
Power Bonus: 8%
Attraction Bonus: 5%
Luck: 10
Cheese Effect: Insanely Stale
I have both the Magma and Spellbook Bases and this one looks like a hybrid of the two, but not as good at either if you're trying to stack luck, attraction, and/or power.
So before I start power farming I'm gonna wait for catch rate estimates to come in to see if it'll help me or not.
I did go ahead and move back to the Muridae Market to craft the cheese shoppe cause I want to make sure I can get cheap cheese before I run out. And also because I wanted to buy another uber Commander charm.
I hear there's a new base on the Market in the Baron area... I bet FK's happy about that
Meanwhile in the Catacombs...

I decided to do some extra stocking of RB cheese... hopefully it will be enough, but I might have to make another run or two to the lab. Fortunately I have over 70 pieces of swiss incase I need it
Edit! Ok I see I need to read posts more thouroughly as Fk beat me too it

Read the edit in my post above yours. ETA: hehehe, I see you saw it.
So you're a little over halfway to the Mysterious Blueprints. And since you're in the Catacombs with 121 pieces of RB to go, you'll make a good portion of that.
So, I'm using the free Artisan Charms I got from completing the Charm Shoppe. They're super nice, but I'm trying to decide whether or not they're worth buying after I get the Papyrus I need from the Mage Weaver and Blacksmith mice. They cost 350 gold plus 1 Limestone Brick, 1 Coconut Timber, and 1 Shard of Glass each so I'm not sure I'm gonna break even on the supplies. Hmmm.... We shall see.
I am however, up to 27 bricks, so 3 more to go before I can build the Cheese Shoppe!
ETA 6:01pm CST: Yep, after crunching the numbers with my Monstrobot trap, the Magma Base is still definitely better, and continues to the best base in the game. Here's what the numbers looks like....
Monstrobot + Magma
10624 Power
5% Attraction
10 Luck
Monstrobot + Papyrus
10080 Power
0% Attraction
10 Luck
I suspect that the Papyrus Base is to the Spellbook Base what the Dehydration Base is to the Explosive Base. On an equal playing field, but one favors luck and the other favors power. Either way, I'm not wasting my time, supplies, and gold getting it.
In the meantime, I built my Cheese Shoppe, restocked on Cheese, and headed back to the Fiery Warpath.

As Reep would say, "I believe that's suppossed to be irony." *High fives FK*

I hope so cause I did have over 400,000 but I spent about 50,000 getting those 121 pieces of RB.
I'm already up to 387,783 g (No I did not make that # up!) so I'm getting there...

Well, I'm just trudging along in the Mousoleum. My catch rates aren't very good. I had mice pillage from me about five times in a row which is unusual for me.
I'll probably keep going here until I run out of Radioactive Blue Cheese and then head somewhere. Maybe back to the lab. I like the loot I get there better than anywhere else.
I'm currently at 37% on my way to Grandmaster.
narnian_at_heart, Is this your first time in the Mouseleum? I'll let you know now that the catch rates in the Mouseleum is typically pretty low compared to the other locations you can access, but the high gold value of the mice makes up for it big time... Same with the Catacombs. I can easily have a 5 or 6 mouseless streak in those areas. I think the longest ran around 13 ( ). The only other suggestion I can make is check your trap settup. Are you using a shadow trap? Also I'd recommend the Dehydration Base if you have it

That's my bad!! I suggested the Sinister Portal + Explosive Base cause I'm still living in the days where you wanted a super stale setup to get as much radioactive sludge as possible. Now you can get sludge from your friends. But yeah, n_a_h, the Dehydration Base will get you an ever-so-slightly better catch rate.
I'll probably keep going here until I run out of Radioactive Blue Cheese and then head somewhere.
The Lycan Mouse drops a map piece to Furoma that you'll want to snag before you level again. I don't know if you've gotten that yet or not but I haven't seen you mention it so I assume not. Like wolf said, the Mousoleum is the first hard area in the game that you'll encounter. Low catch rate, lots of stuff being stolen, but if you pay attention to how much $$ you're making off of the mice you do catch, it's the most profitable area you've reached so far.
Oh, have you been to the Great Gnarled Tree yet?
Well I cleared out the archers last night and am on to the warriors in Wave 3. That should be fairly easily accomplished today. Still hoping for another good streak to use a Commander's Charm on, so we'll see if I get one. I had one last night, but a Gargantuamouse thwarted me.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I've got the cheese shoppe and the general store built in the new section. I'm working on gathering stuff for the charm shoppe. I'm bouncing back and forth between the new section and the warpath. I'm on wave 3 as well. 0-4-0-48-23-13. I'm hoping to get through the scouts and either the artillery or mage mice by tomorrow morning. I usually leave the cavalry mice until last.
Well, I royally blew it in the SG. I went through winter without a key drop, and now I have to wait almost ten days before it's winter again. Until then, I think I'll spend my time in the catacombs. Doing so should earn me enough points and gold to make ZFM within the near future.

I did want to ask you... I saw you left the Garden several hours before the Winter season ended which surprised me because I knew you hadn't gotten the key piece. I figured it was because the seasons changed in the middle of the night last night and your current trap setup wouldn't work anymore.
I was wondering if you knew that all of the mice from every season can be caught with a tactical trap? So if the seasons change in the night, you can arm a tactical trap and while you won't do quite as well, it's not like you're going to miss every single mouse that you attract and you don't have to leave.
Until then, I think I'll spend my time in the catacombs. Doing so should earn me enough points and gold to make ZFM within the near future.
Good plan. How close are you? (Looks like you've already hit the points mark )
I've got 520K in gold, so I'm half-way there. A week in the catacombs should earn me the rest of the moolah

And with that I pretty much made back what I spent, so everything I get now on is profit

Oh, have you been to the Great Gnarled Tree yet?
I think I was at the Great Gnarled Tree briefly. I haven't got the map piece yet. That's what I've been wanting. I'm using the Sinister Portal and I just switched to the Dehydration Base this morning. I was using the Explosive Base.
Well, I am a bit underwhelmed with the Super Commander's Charms (either had 0/2 or 1/3 success with that one), but the Flamebane Charms and Monger Charms are VERY well worth it.
My latest Warmonger catch with a Monger Charm....
8:00 pm - Fiery Warpath
I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 3 lb. 1 oz. Warmonger Mouse worth 198,000 points and 27,000 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot:
100 Flameshards, 1 Sphynx Crystal ( ), 3 Warpath Commander's Charms, 1 Ultimate Luck Charm, 3 Ultimate Power Charms and 12 Super Power Charms
SQUEEEEEE!!! The Sphynx trap is mine!!!
