I finished using my Tier VI cheese, and managed to get another Tier VII potion. With the first try in there, I got another Tier VIII potion! That means I'll get another Eclipse mouse! SUH-WEET!!!!!!!
At any rate, I also used all of my new found money to craft the DDA. With the money I get from my second Eclipse, I'll be able to buy one of the pawn pinchers.

I was using Gilded cheese in the Mountain in hopes of catching a special mouse with a piece of the map but no such luck.
Gilded cheese is used to catch the Master Burglar mouse who can only be caught in the Town of Gnawnia and the Bazaar (the latter you haven't unlocked yet).
The mouse that drops the map piece in the Mountain is the Ninja mouse which can be caught with regular cheese. Super Brie not required.
However, having said that, if you do use SB, there are three mice there that can only be caught with that cheese. So there are benefits to using it there. Good luck!
Thanks. And I did have good luck! I didn't catch the Ninja mouse but I did catch a burglar mouse 8 brie cheese and 6 gilded cheese. I also caught a Pirate mouse which dropped gold. So now, I'm going to switch back to regular Brie for the rest of the day while I'm at work. Maybe I'll have caught the Ninja mouse when I get back at lunch.
A new Undead Emmental Potion has been added to the game. They drop off of Zombie and Ravenous Zombie Mice in the Mousoleum and Catacombs. As the potions are cursed you can only collect so many of them. Hopefully a use for them will be discovered by tomorrow.
(The latest news post in a nutshell. Full report is here.)
I dunno... I'm a little short on Radioactive Blue Cheese at the moment.....
Congrats Digs!
Well I'll let you know what it does (if I can figure it out) once I stumble upon one, but first I have to go get more RB...

Well I think I'm going to head over to the Mousoleum then and try to get some. I caught a vinetail mouse (I'd already nabbed him from the Christmas event), but this one dropped the key I needed. That only leaves the Spring Familliar mouse (I've been using SB+, but haven't even attracted her) until I've got all of the mice of Spring. I may stick around here for a few more tries, but if I haven't gotten her by oh. . . six o'clock, I'll head to the Mousoleum
The mousoleum is definitely the better of the two places to attract a zombie mouse. You'll make less money, true, but there are 16 different mice in the Catacombs, and only 11 in the mousoleum (I'm not counting Black widow's as they're darn rare). So you've got much better odds of encountering one in the mousoleum.

Now... to use the acronym or the clockapault in the Mousoleum.... hmmm...
I got a bit annoyed at the warpath so I took a break and went to the catacombs. I settled in at the mousoleum for some real hunting for these mysterious potions.
I'm convinced that ACRONYM is going to do better, and so I'm going to be using that. . . . but I REALLY wanna use my Cackle Lantern some more
EDIT: Using ACRONYM. . . I nabbed a zombie on my first try The description in the inventory says the following:
This cursed potion produces a horrifying bait that attracts undead mice including bone-chilling Zombot Unipire Mice! So strong is the curse this potion carries that hunters are unable to find more while still holding onto more than a few potions, or pieces of the cheese it produces.
So I'm thinking that the Zombot Unipire mouse is going to be making a return. The potion converts (for my ranking at least) 6 Brie (at 900 per piece) or 12 pieces of SB+ (for free) to Undead Emmental cheese.
EDIT: I've also got one to drop off of a Ravenous Zombie mouse. I'm having better luck with my cackle lantern than I did with ACRONYM, and so that's what I'm using right now. I've gotten four potions so far. . . not quite sure how many we're allowed to get.
EDIT #2: The maximum amount of potions you can get (I think) is 5. I caught a ravenous zombie just now, and it did not drop a potion.

Yep, my brother informed me of the same. I'm at 3 potions currently but mainly catching Bat and Ghost Mice.
I hope to catch FBF today here in two hours as I'm sure they'll explain the event, but we're getting a new dishwasher today and they may be delivering it at that time so I may have to miss it. We shall see.
I'm not going to get to watch it either
Now that I've maxed out my potions, I'm going to head down into the Catacombs. I can make a better profit there, and I'll be close enough to the Mousoleum to participate in the event should it go live this afternoon.

I also maxed out on potions and have headed back to the Fiery Warpath where I shall remain until the event starts. (Which I suspect will be right after FBF ends.)
I'm not doing the greatest in the Warpath right now.... those stinkin' archers are thwarting me. But maybe I'll put a good dent in them in the next few hours.

Well I had a horrible day at the lab yesterday... finally I managed to get 3 RB potions, plus one corrupted RB potion that I got in the catacombs... but I ran out of swiss.
Anyway I'm back for the moment, so bring on those zombie mice!

11:00 am - Mousoleum
I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 1 lb. 15 oz. Zombot Unipire Mouse worth 1,750 points and 750 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 King's Credit and 1 Radioactive Blue Cheese Potion10:56 am - Mousoleum
I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 1 lb. 7 oz. Zombot Unipire Mouse worth 1,750 points and 750 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 King's Credit and 1 Radioactive Sludge10:42 am - Mousoleum
I created 30 pieces of Undead Emmental which used 30 Brie Cheese, 5 Undead Emmental Potions and 27,000 gold.
Well that was easy. I think the Zombots are also dropping more Undead Emmental potions as well.
Picture?
I heard of this on FB, but I've yet to get a potion
EDIT So I just returned from Wiki... So they're an event mouse, or at least they were?

Picture of what? The Zombot Unipire Mouse? If it's the Zombots it looks like you already found them on the Wiki. And yeah, they're an event mouse, they showed up last Halloween for the first time. And they'll be available from here on out... provided you have Undead Emmantal Cheese which is only available this weekend.
The potions are dropping off of Zombie and Ravenous Zombie Mice in the Mousoleum and Catacombs. Both DiGs and I recommend the Mousoleum.
The funniest part about this event is that I had never heard of Emmantal Cheese before. Apparently it's a European cousin of Swiss Cheese.
