i just saw, this trap isnt all that fun, i think its like 3k power and 16 luck, 15% power bonus, smthing like htat...acronym is definitely better, maybe its upgradable?

Naturally I MISSED THE CATCH on my Mad Elf Mouse last night and decided that it wasn't meant to be cause I was falling asleep at my desk. 
I caught him at 1am this morning on my hourly trap check so I'm done with the Snow Fortress unless I want to run it again. Back in the Festive Comet for now stocking up on more Festive Feta in the hopes they still might release tournaments.

I don't think it's going to be upgradable, I think it's going to fall the way of the Nannybot, but at least this one is useful. But there are a few people on here who don't have the ACRONYM trap yet and this will be a nice arcane trap for them.

I'm travelling between the FC and Snow Fortress. I can't seem to keep enough Feta on hand, which is frustrating. I'll stay here in the FC for awhile before heading back to the Fortress. The event shouldn't end for a little while, right?

I am about halfway through the second section of the Snow Fortress. I am contemplating using my wife's account to play through MH from the beginning once the event is over. She played for a while but lost interest.

Today the devs hosted FeedBAKE Friday (They did this last year and made a Yule Log cake, very much like the one in the Collectibles ). This year they made festive Chicken Wings (wings soaked in red hot sauce and green Tabasco sauce... I pity them 
) and Gingerbread.
I didn't stick around long, we're too busy getting ready for Christmas, but the little bit I did watch said that there is still more to come in the Christmas event. My initial reaction is to say tournaments but we'll see. Obviously there will be the tiny little bit that involves the New Years Eve mouse, and who knows when Ronza will show up. So there are lots of possibilities. *continues farming Festive Feta and stockpiling it*
The event shouldn't end for a little while, right?
Correct, it should last at least through New Years.

Update time for me!
I'm in the Festive Comet right now and I've caught 58 mice so far. I've gotten one piece of the LED.
The Christmas event is kind of boring at the moment. I really want Ronza to come and for the event to end because I want to start building a bunch of traps and bases that I need. I won't spend any gold on that until after Ronza comes.
Speaking of which, I'm at 18.96 million points and 4.42 million gold. I haven't been playing much other than to check in a couple times a day to make sure my hourly trap checks don't stop and I'm not out of cheese. I'm home with my family for the holidays so I'm on MH very little. That's why you guys aren't getting gifts sent quite as regularly as usual.

I'm taking fantasia's hint and beginning to stockpile Festive Feta. I have 365 Ice Coins left and I'm debating what to buy. I have already purchased the Festive Box Trap skin and 50 Amplifier charms. Should I go ahead and buy the other skins to sell them later? Or get more charms? Any suggestions?

I've crafted my trap and caught the Mad Elf Mouse. Now what? Is there anything more to the Christmas Event? I suppose I could stick around and farm Festive Feta but I really don't want to. I'm anxious to get back to Cape Clawed and start working toward some new traps and bases.
I'm probably going to spend most of my coins on crates of Seashells, Vegetables, Stones, and Vanilla Beans so I don't have to spend my time farming so much. Maybe a few pieces of stale SB+ but I don't know.

Sticking around in the Festive Comet picking up the various event mice. Don't think I caught some that I wanted. Oh well. Next year. May go back to the Gauntlet shortly.

Edit! Anyone know where the Mouse of Winter Future is hiding out? I think he's the only one I'm missing besides the mad elf mouse...

Well if it makes you feel better I signed up and I won't get any Festive Feta for another few hours. I should probably be in the comet but I've been working on my Silth, I might move over soon though.
