Nutcracker Trap Blueprints
These plans outline how to create the festive Nutcracker Nuisance Trap! The plan is rather simple, only requiring six pieces of Splintered Wood and one extremely powerful LED light bulb.

Unfortunately, the only LED bulbs powerful enough for this trap have all been stolen by the Mad Elf Mouse! Be at the ready hunter: Once enough hunters reach the rank of Master Builder, the King will call upon you to track down the missing LEDs and put an end to the Mad Elf's evil plan!

Looks like the Wooden Toys are just about done and the Clockwork Toys aren't too far off either. Mostly just Metal Toys left to go.

I've got my trap blueprints as well. I'm working on reaching 600 receipts because, depending on what it costs to craft the trap, I want the Oasis trap skin. I'm up to 580. I'm hoping to reach that today and then I'm going to switch back to hunting for Feta so whatever they offer next week, I can hunt for the boss mouse uninterrupted for a bit.

For the trap, it does appear you can't craft it yet. The theory on the forum is that it requires something that the boss mouse drops to craft it.

Edit: Reached it. I've got 600 receipts now! I'm not going to buy the skin yet. I'm going to spend the rest of the weekend farming feta I think and then return to hunting holiday mice on Monday morning.

Well I DID go ahead and buy the Oasis trap skin and I think it might be my favorite skin. Hard to say. But I really, really like it.
If I have enough ice coins, I also plan to get the ABT skin as well, but I'll probably forgo the Digby Drillbot skin since I don't even have that trap and have no plans to buy it again unless required later on in the game.

We've almost maxed out the toy drive, so it should be interesting to see what happens next. I may get the ABT skin. I want to wait and see what, if anything else we may need the ice coins for first though. I'm a bit shy of coins for the ABT skin though.

Well the toy drive is over. Late last night a new story went up saying that the gift opening ceremony is just around the corner. I'm sure there will be some kind of drama involved as we're still waiting on the big bad boss mouse to show up. Can't wait to see what happens!

I got 500 receipts just after the news story went up last night. Now I'm just hanging out in the Comet until something happens and deciding what to buy with my ice coins.

Does anybody want or need any collectibles? I don't mind sending a few out... but not the Gold Brick. That one is a bit pricey.

I have opened my gifts and have figured out which collectibles I am missing: petrified fruitcake, Sylvan plushie, glass mouse ornament.

Still saving parts to get my last 68 receipts.

im done with 500 as well, and just camping Dracano for any additional toys that i might want ice credits for, im thinking of buying artisan charms, since useful for papyrus base in muradea market, any ideas?

In case you all hadn't noticed already, there's a new location on the map. Now you have to have become a Master Toy collector to get in, but if you have already achieved that honor, you can hunt in the newly opened Snow Fortress.

To the Snow Fortress then, cant wait to see nutcracker trap, but i guess it wont be that great since its for novices as well so yeah, but 120 catches is a bit of a overkill...

Yeah, that's what Kat thought too (that 120 was too many) but I didn't think it was that bad since this event will likely run at least through New Years. In fact, if all goes well, I should finish the full run tonight. I've caught 52/120 mice so far and obtained one piece of the LED bulb. Gut instinct to just farm cheese after getting my trap blueprints really paid off.

How's everybody else doing? Is everybody a Master Toy Builder at least?

I'd forgotten the fact the event still has a bit to run. I think in the back of my mind I was wondering if there was more to the event as they've added something about once a week so far.

I'm going to have to go back to the comet to farm feta.

Well that was unexpected. I stayed up ridiculously late tonight to craft the Nutcracker Nuisance trap, and it's an arcane trap. Not quite as good as the ACRONYM, but it looks awesome.
11 more minutes until I hopefully catch my Mad Elf mouse and then bed...
