Negative. Lets say that you and DiGs are not friends on Facebook and DiGs doesn't play Mousehunt. If you catch a new mouse and post about it, and I 'like' it, a news story will show up on the front of DiGs's news feed that says "Fantasia_kitty likes wolfloversk's Mousehunt post" and then copies the story below.

Mmm... Maybe if you make a custom MH group and then change the privacy settings on the post so that only that group can see it. That should work- You'd probably have to change the settings every time you make a MH post though.

I've already done that actually, so all of the catches I publish are hidden, but for what you're talking about to work, all of my Mousehunting buddies would have to do the same I think. It's a lot easier for me to just not hit like than go around requesting all of you to hide your posts. I only do it so I know which charms I've claimed anyways.

So there's something on my golden shield. I'm not sure what. It kind of looks like it could be pumpkins (which makes sense considering it's Thanksgiving time) but it also looks almost like a poppy flower.

Does anyone know what it's for? I checked the news feed and there's nothing.

EDIT: According to the forums, it is poppies and they're commemorating Veterans Day. Poppies apparently are used for commemorating veterans and fallen soliders.

I think it's great that MH is remembering our soldiers in this way! I feel bad that I didn't realize that Veterans Day is in just a couple days and realize what it was for.

Yeah, the Poppies are a Canadian thing. There's a poem written about it called "In Flander's Fields," but I can't remember the author. We had to memorize it in school. . . but alas I've forgotten most of it.

Still farming gold at a rate of approximately 100K per day. Up to 1,667,572, but I'm going to have to get some more cheese before too long.

I am meandering through Wave 3 at the moment. I've been building up my store of ionized salt since I tend to run through a lot. I'm up to 300. I'm also trying to build up stores of some of the charms required so next time I don't have to keep spending a ton on charms.

@Digs, What's your recommended amount of cheese for Tiers 6, 7 & 8 of the Guantlet again?

The eclipse mouse is easy with the Ancient Box Trap, but very very difficult without it. So long as you "make it to the top" you'll catch him, but I reiterate, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CATCH HIM WITHOUT THE ANCIENT BOX TRAP!

Im back and two of my fingers are still broken. Im hunting in JoD curently, got priml and stonework, but missed fetid 7 times. I still need 2000 points for Derr so I´ll probably go to FG after finishing my havarti, so as to farm runes.

@Digs: Go for the DDDs and you´ll get some living shards if you have spare limelight or just hunt some monsters in lab (perhaps you can even crown them) they drop shards and are easily attracted to RB.

Go for the DDDs and you´ll get some living shards if you have spare limelight or just hunt some monsters in lab (perhaps you can even crown them) they drop shards and are easily attracted to RB.

There are two problems with this:

1. Limelight requires 3 living shards to make one piece. Therefore, unless each mouse dropped 4 living shards, you'd be getting nowhere.

2. Monster mice are difficult to catch. Even with advanced setups, the best you can do is about 50%, and even then they may or may not drop some shards. Plus, if you miss them they rob you blind.

I still think I'll get the shards quicker if I just wait and farm the gold to buy them.

Had to stock up a bit on cheese, and so my finances took a bit of a hit, but I'm at 1,714,894 right now, so I'm still moving steadily upward.

@Digs: You didn't get any Living Shards from the event? I'm up to 50 now.

Yeah, I got 32 from the event, but when you need 1,000. . . it's a drop in the bucket.
