PS how do you catch a spider mouse :P

Be in the Haunted Manor or Pumpkin Patch. Have Spooky Charms armed. Wait patiently. (Or impatiently as often the case may be. ;)) )

That'd be great, but I don't think it'd work.

I think my sister and I may absorb shastastwin's group. We'll see.

Be in the Haunted Manor or Pumpkin Patch.

Check.

Have Spooky Charms armed.

I did... but I ran out, and I had no more cheese

Wait patiently. (Or impatiently as often the case may be. ;)) )

Been waiting :P

This is fun though, even if it is frustrating.

Yowza! A lot happened this weekend!

I've joined Wolfie's Team. Sorry it took me so long to get onboard. I've also transfered over to the Haunted Territories. But I'm really clueless as to what's going on right now, so it may take me a bit of time to catch up ;).

I'm after a Spider mouse. . . . at least I think I am. That's what's on my HUD ;)

*Hugtackles Digs* Yes you're after the spider mouse :P And you need to equip spooky charms to get him (I'm out so that's why I have none armed :)) :(( )

My team has been after the second to last mouse: the

Spoiler
Gargoyle
for more than a day now! And every time I've had Spooky charms, I've armed them to no avail. This is why I'm not a fan of charms!!!

I'm up to 155 Candies and still at 9 Cobwebs and I'm well over half way through HT for the third time.

Tricked: 10-20-22
Treated: 10-20-11

Oh, and in reference to my previous question: are there any other charms I should buy for the future other than Spooky charms? Like Dreaded charms or Amplifier charms. I won't be able to access the Seasonal Garden for quite a while (I have to be a Baron/Baroness first, I think) but would it be wise to buy a few? Or would it be beneficial to buy the Dreaded charms for the Jungle of Dread? Or any others that might be good to buy?

And every time I've had Spooky charms...

I want to make sure that everyone knows, you do NOT have to have Ghoulgonzola or Candy Corn cheese armed. Brie can catch every mouse necessary for the group event (at least I haven't seen any trick or treat mice show up for anyone). So you can use your Ghoulgonzola and Candy Corn Cheese to buy more Spooky Charms if you need to. Just wanted to make sure you all were aware of that. :)

...are there any other charms I should buy for the future ...?

Out of all the charms I'm looking at, the one I personally think will help you the most is the Dreaded Charm. The Jungle of Dread Mice are a real pain, even with the Clockapult of Time.
The other item I would also highly recommend you consider is the Simple Orb. You won't really use them in mass for a long time, but boy are they hard to stock up on to the point where you won't run out.
But really, it's all good stuff, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of it. :)
Oh, and the Seasonal Garden is Lord/Lady. :)

Hi im new on the forums!

Im a 13% hero hunting in the HT for our 2nd prankster run. Currently stuck at Grave Robber and wanting advice on how much peppers to collect on tribal isles and wether to buy dreaded cahrms or not. I have the BP frayed piece, 70 D stones, 60 savoury veggies, 59 seashells and 19 pepper seeds right now. Im sitting at 7k points so cant craft HVMT. What should i do? Go FG for points, stay in HT, go cats, finish elub or go somewhere else?

Hellow MHWOC (do you mind if I call you that?), and welcome to NarniaWeb! Did you just so happen to find this thread on our forum by googling Mousehunt, or do you happen to like Narnia as well? Either way, welcome aboard!

You're going to need quite a few pepper seeds. You may or may not know how they work, but as there are a few other members in here gearing up for the isles, a refresher isn't a terrible idea:

Veggies/Stones/Shells = Seeds = Plants = Peppers = Havarti Cheese.

So basically, your pepper seeds need to be planted in a pot (you can buy these in Cape Clawed). Each pot requires two seeds (But if you're making Inferno Peppers, you need to put in three). As there are three different kinds of seeds, that makes a total of seven types of pepper:

Yellow+Yellow = Sweet Yellow Pepper (used in making Sweet Havarti)
Yellow + Blue = Crunchy Green Pepper (used in making Crunchy Havarti)
Yellow + Red = Creamy Orange Pepper (used in making Creamy Havarti)
Red + Red = Spicy Red Pepper (used in making Spicy Havarti)
Red + Blue = Pungent Purple Pepper (used in making Pungent Havarti)
Blue + Blue = Magical Blue Pepper (used in making Magical Havarti)
Red+Blue+Yellow = Inferno Pepper (used in making Inferno Havarti)

Each of these pepper plants will yield anywhere from 1-6 peppers depending on luck. Six peppers are required for each batch of Havarti cheese made. I would aim for 12 pieces of each Havarti for your first time through the Jungle of Dread.

So pegging down a number for seeds isn't really a good was to estimate things. Start turning your seeds into peppers. Then you'll be better able to estimate.

Hope that helps MHWOC

Welcome to NarniaWeb, Mousehunterwithoutcause! :D I have the same question as DiGs above me, do you have a shorter nickname you don't mind us using? ;))
~Yes, I think the Dreaded Charms look like a really good investment. :)
~It's hard to give advice on where you should hunt without knowing your full progress, but I think you'll get the most points out of the Elub Shore. But hunting in the Forbidden Grove isn't a half bad idea either cause you can start on your rune collection. :)

if i remembered, the mininum was wat 36 peppers of each region to get 1 batch of harvatti each?

6 peppers per batch of cheese. :)

Not to spoil the fun here, but I do feel I need to post a reminder on one of our forum rules... ;)

6.) Use good spelling and grammar. Please type your posts in full sentences and avoid netspeak or chat-style writing (such as “l3375l°34l<” or “Hi how r u? I r gr8”). Do not use excessive ALL CAPS in your post.

Our website is a lot stricter than most, and we do ask that you take the time to spell everything out so everyone can understand you. I have gotten a few PMs from people asking for post translations in this thread because sometimes the spelling and punctuation are so bad.
Mousehunt trap abbreviations and the like are fine, just be aware that the people who haven't progressed too far into the game may not know what you're talking about. ;)

Question: My team is stuck on the

Spoiler
Spider Mouse
. I'm in the Haunted Manor right now with Candy Corn and Spooky Charms. . .but I haven't attracted a spider since last night when I moved over here. Are they in this area, or are they only in other sections of the Haunted Territories?

Anyways, just incase we get the trick, treat, or mousevina mice or if they decide to announce the closure of the event. I figured I'd be ready. And as you can see we are still after the

Spoiler
Spider...

Oh by the way I caved... I bought two cobwebs and the last trapskin :P Now if I get another one... I will scream :P

Well. . . there was really no point in my "Spoilering" it. . . Wolfie just blasted our surprise with screen-cap Nukes 8-}.

Oh well, I've got plenty of Ghoulganzola and Candy Corn (200+ of each) so I'll keep buying Spooky charms.

It's ok DiGs, you missed spoilering your second mention of the spider mouse in your post too. ;))

Are they in this area, or are they only in other sections of the Haunted Territories?

*takes a quick peek at her husband's profile since he's in the Manor and she is not*
Yes, Spiders can be caught in the Manor. But for future reference, so you know if you're in the right area with the right setup, check out my post on the previous page here.

Well after blasting through the first 2/3 of our second run through the group event yesterday, we've now slowed way down. We're on our second to last mouse, which also happens to be the Spider Mouse. ;))
