I'm wondering if stwin's invites went out correctly as it doesn't look like any of those people accepted an invitation from him? Anyways.... It definitely looks like everyone is covered and a couple teams have a space available if necessary. So cool.

I also noticed since my sister has her own team, the mice each team is required to catch is different. Anyone have any hard mice yet? My team is stuck on the Ooze Mouse so I'm hanging out in the Catacombs to see if it counts if you catch it there. If it doesn't, I'm gonna have to get more Spooky Charms.

ETA: Curses! I found that you definitely cannot catch the Ooze Mouse in the Catacombs, but more annoyingly, you have to at least be in the Haunted House in the event. So through the Corn Maze I go again!

Ravenous Zombie Moose has remained difficult to catch. Have gone over 12 hours now without a catch. May very well be normal.

Yeah, it may be that you'll have to shoot them a PM as well so they know to look for it. I know that I got a notification via Mousehunt when EtJ sent me an invite, but I don't know if that's what everyone else got.

We're still stuck on the Ooze Mouse this morning, but I JUST finished with the Corn Maze and am in the Haunted Manor so at least I can help out now.

Kat and I were talking this morning and we realized that this group thing may require a full run through the event again. I know that the news post announcing it had a Trick Mouse on it. So I'm probably going to continue progressing through the Haunted Manor. We'll see what happens if/when I get to the Pumpkin Patch.

Is anyone else having problems with the gifting system? Yesterday, I saw that I had 21 notifications. That was around 5 and I usually have that many right around then because everyone is sending me gifts, tickets, and visiting my profile for cheese. Anyway, I couldn't accept gifts at the moment because I had to leave right then. I was gone for several hours and didn't get back until 1 AM. I went straight to bed and didn't check MH. This morning, I only had five notifications: all of them from the past four or five hours. So I just lost all the gifts that people sent me yesterday because I can't accept them now. It's so irritating because I need those. At least some of them would have been cheese or contained cheese and I'm running low.

Do you think I should report this to the devs? I've never had this happen before.

Noticed a variety of quirks here.

I can Send Free Gifts, for example, at 6:30 p.m and then send another round at 11:02 a.m the next morning. The timer for how often you do this is generous.

I can only fully collect free gifts sent to me once in a full 24-hour period. The timer only allows me to Claim my gifts (ten a day) once only in the 24-hour period. The timer is not generous.

Interestingly, under notifications, I can squeeze in claiming a few gifts early. But to get my limit of ten, I must wait that full 24-hour period and click on Claim My Gifts.

@nah if you click on the notifications tab it marks everything as read. Did you click it when you saw you had 21 notifications? Or can you scroll down?

Nope. I didn't click it because I had just pulled up MH right before I was leaving. I saw the 21 notifications but I didn't even click on them because I knew I had to leave. And I wanted the notifications there to remind me that I had gifts to claim. Also, so when I did click on it to claim gifts, I could see which ones were new and know how many I had to claim and how many I had already claimed.

No, I can't scroll down. On the gifts tab, it shows three things: two pumpkin baskets that people sent me and one acknowledgment that someone had claimed a gift I sent them. Then, the rest of the gifts screen is blank. Also, under General and Daily Draw, there's only one notification each.

It has shown like that before: like there was a refresh and nothing prior to a certain time was shown but I've never lost gifts because of it.

Even though I didn't click it, I know I had at least 5 unclaimed gifts in there. Whenever I have that many notifications at that time of day, I have multiple gifts in there. Five is actually a very conservative estimation. Based on previous days gfits, it's probably more like 6, 7, or even 8.

That's actually the way notifications have always worked for me. But fear not! Your gifts are not lost.
Go to the 'Send Free Gifts' link in the Friends dropdown menu. On the same bar that says SEND GIFTS, you'll see a button on the right that says 'Claim my gifts' with a red box saying how many gifts you have waiting for you. Click the link and claim away. Actually this is the way I always claim gifts because I can just click the 'Claim all' button and it's SOOO much faster than clicking on them individually in the notifications.

The reset time for everything except raffle tickets is 8PM EDT. That includes sending and collecting gifts, trick or treating, etc. But the raffle tickets are on a 23 hour timer I think. I have no idea why.
