OK, I was just browsing the Wiki and I noticed this in regards to trick-or-treating:
In addition, Halloween Candy and Cobwebs could also be collected from friends' Trick-or-Treat profiles.
Here's the link
I've looked at my friend's profiles numerous times over the past few days and I've never seen anything where I can get Cobwebs. Does anyone know if this is just a mistake on the part of the Wiki editors? Or if you can get Cobwebs and I'm just missing them? Or will you be able to get the Cobwebs later in the event?

Here's what people on the MH forum are saying about that...

So... I think if I'm reading it correctly, you can get them from friends' profiles but they're really rare. I'll be sure to be on the lookout next time I trick or treat.
I have yet to find any on people's profiles...
However I've been getting a small yet steady supply of cobweb mice. Enough that I was able to by the costumed ambush skin and have one cobweb leftover. I think I'm going to save up for the other skins in case I get those traps in the future. Also I learned you can give skins to friends in a similar manner that you can gold. Unfortunately the skin I really want is only for sale in the Market Place where it costs over a million gold (Jet-Black Acronym) (or for real money, but I refuse to spend cash on FB games)
And I ran out of cheese... again XD

Still in Halloween area, a bit disappointed about the specs of the new upgraded trap but who cares

SO LOW, problem was, i was doing fine before with a ragebot, but once i hit pumpkin patch, they werent affected by ragebot so i was full of misses
I estimate ill be able to run this thing at least once hopefull...since wasnt here for CLT last year
I finished up the trick part of the pumpkin patch overnight and should have the treat portion finished some time today. Any suggestions on catching Mousevina, or is she just a guaranteed thing once I've caught my Treat Mouse?

Currently working on treating mice. Oh and not to brag or anything but, I caught my tenth cobweb mouse. I'm getting a lot of Hallowheads too. Currently I have 3 cobwebs, and 30 candies. I still need the mice from last year though, and Mousevina (obviously)

I've tricked all the mice I've needed to and I have 15 more to treat. I baited my trap with Brie overnight because I ran out of Candy Corn. I got two Candy Corn overnight when I caught a Hollowhead. So I have that enabled now until I use it up and then I don't know what I'll do until tonight when I can visit people's profiles.
The annoying thing is I have 15 surplus pieces of Ghoulgonzola. For some reason, I've had way more of that than I need but never enough Candy Corn.

Cheese of either type will be appreciated!!!

Haha, wolf, you and I are in the same boat. I have some extra Ghoulgonzola so I just sent fantasia_kitty some and asked her to pass it on to you. So when she gets online, you should be getting some.
I'm in Digby right now. Since I was out of Candy Corn cheese, I decided to craft some Limelight cheese and head to Digby. There's a bunch of Limelight only mice there and since one of my ultimate goals with this game is to catch every mouse, I decided to head there while I'm waiting until I can pick up event cheese from people's profiles this evening.
So I've currently caught four new mice: Lambent Crystal, Itty-Bitty Burroughs, Core Sample, and Demolitions.

Any suggestions on catching Mousevina, or is she just a guaranteed thing once I've caught my Treat Mouse?
She's a guaranteed attraction, but if you click on her on the mice page, it says she's especially susceptible to shadow traps. I used the Reaper's Perch to catch her, but I don't know if a lowby shadow trap will do any better than the ACRONYM or another trap type.
n_a_h and wolf, you have both been sent cheese. I have plenty of Ghoulgonzola now, but I think as that's been the gift of the day a couple times now, everyone is good on trick cheese.
Oh and not to brag or anything but, I caught my tenth cobweb mouse.
Go wolf! LOL Yeah, I still just have two. I did notice that while I was hunting with Brie for the past 24 hours, I still caught several event mice, including the Pumpkin Hoarder mice, so maybe I'll get some Cobweb mice with Brie as well.
I would still like to get the Ambush and ZFM Trap Skins, but that may or may not happen. If it doesn't, ah well, I can always look at the cool skins on the Wiki.
At least I"m getting plenty of Halloween candies, so I SHOULD be able to afford at least one of them before the event is over.
And maybe my cobweb mouse luck will change as well.
Thanks FK and nah! I needed that cheese
Your welcome. And thank you FK for the Candy Corn!
EDIT: I just caught my first Stone Cutter. I'm liking Digby!
Ok I got my trick and treat mice, now I just need Mousevina and the Gourdborg
Edit! I got my Soul Catcher now I'm making another run through for more cobwebs and the Gourborg.

I completed the event over the weekend, but our internet was acting up so I couldn't come in here to post about it (we still have dial up ). I'm going through the run again mainly to get more cobwebs and candies. . . but as event mice seem to be attracted to brie I might just switch over to that (as I have gotten more than 200 pieces to drop off of burglar mice. . . not to mention almost fifty pieces of gilded cheese!).
I have officially decided to spend all of the candies I get on the Commander's Charms, and all of the cobwebs will go to the ZFM trap skin. If I don't make it to the 8 cobwebs required, I'll just cash them in for Ultimate Luck Charms.
EDIT: So I switch over to Brie and what's the first mouse I catch. . . yep. . . a cobweb

I hope they give us a warning before they close the event. Actually I'm counting on it. I'm saving up all my Halloween candies til the close, then I will spend them. By then I'm hoping I'll have enough cobwebs for the other two skins, and that I won't have to buy more to get them. I'm probably going to stock up on potions and crates. But first I need to make my way up to the Haunted House, or I won't get anymore.
Edit! Awesome Digs! Hey, maybe that's what I'm doing differently from everybody else, when I run out of event cheese everyday I switch over to brie. Maybe that explains my bronze crown Since I have less friends than most on here, I switch to brie more often.
