Events are always fun, but I'm not doing too well so far on this one. I was a bit late in figuring out it was going on (ha ha) and I don't have enough active MouseHunt player friends to get much Trick or Treat cheese each day. (eight of my MouseHunt friends don't play anymore) =P But I'm working on it all the same. So far I've got 5 Treated, and that's it. If anyone's interested in friending me let me know. What's the maximum amount of Trick or Treat cheese you can get in a day, anyone know?

My word. . . I was expecting something much more impressing as far as trap stats go.

I guess it makes sense that the trap is on par with the Halloween event trap from last year. It has a little less attraction, but it's a lot cheaper than the Cackle was to craft. This trap will be going on the to-do list when I'm bored and have nothing else to spend gold on. Right up there with the Double Diamond Adventure and Obvious Ambush Trap.

I noticed I was getting more than most... I honestly have no clue as to what I'm doing though For one thing I switched back to Aqua once I got out of the corn maze, as my catch rates increased... And I'm getting them more with the event cheeses- particularly the Ghoulgonzola, I think. (edit by the way you wouldn't happen to have 2 or 3 more candy corn cheese would you?)

I'm glad I decided to go back to Nerg for the day. I finished up getting my 30 Savoury Vegetables overnight and just crafted 20 Gumbo cheese. I now have it armed and am hoping I'll catch the Grandfather and get the Thorned Vine to drop without having to craft more.

I'm up to 26 Halloween Candies. I have no clue what I'll get with them yet though. I can't look at the stuff in the shop until I head back there tonight. I currently have 25 Ghoulgonzola and 9 Candy Corn. Right now, my plan is to stay here until I either get the Thorned Vine to drop or I run out of Gumbo. Then, I'll head back to HT and start tricking and treating again.

I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 12 oz. Mousevina von Vermin worth 27,000 points and 900 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:

Upon defeating Mousevina von Vermin, a thick layer of fog descended and I found myself back at the beginning of the Corn Maze.

Yay! Though admittedly, I was a bit disappointed that Mousevina didn't drop a mass of cobwebs too. Ah well. Cobweb farming continues. The uh, Soul Catcher is quite snazzy looking by the way.

I missed one Grandfather mouse and then caught one later which dropped the Thorned Vine. So I crafted the Thorned Venus Mouse Trap, smashed it, and then crafted the Horrific Venus Mouse Trap. And I still have 15 pieces of Gumbo cheese left.

I'm now back in HT tricking and treating and I'm doing pretty good. I've done nine hunts since I got here and haven't missed a mouse. I caught one Monster mouse which dropped two Shards plus a bunch of Swiss and Cheddar. I've also caught three Burglars which dropped Brie and Gilded cheese. Also one Cobweb mouse which dropped a Cobweb. I'm hoping I start catching some Hollowhead mice soon though. I'm currently at nine Candy Corn cheese and 16 Ghoulgonzola.

Actually Cep they are talking about two different traps. You buy the Soul Catcher with the soulstone, then you can upgrade to the Soul Harvester using the parts off the soul catcher, among other things.

Yep, the trap I'm talking about cep, the Soul Harvester, is the upgrade of the Soul Catcher you can just buy from the general store in the Haunted Territories for 190,000g and a soulstone, like wolf said.
For example, I got the Pumpkin Pummeler last year and only upgraded it to the Cackle Lantern trap a couple weeks ago.

Well, I happened to notice that the cheese drop rate seems much lower this year. I decided I'd like to make sure that everyone gets through the event at least one time, so I moved to the Crystal Library for now (working on completing an assignment I was trying to do before the event started ) and if anyone needs cheese, just ask! I don't have very much left but I can send out a few pieces here and there, especially if it helps someone get to the next area.

I just caught my first Zombot Unipire mouse this morning. And it dropped am RB potion. I'm currently at 31 candies, 8 Gholgonzola, and 16 Candy Corn. That should be enough to get me through the day until I can get more off of people's profiles. I haven't been catching any mice that have dropped Ghoulgonzola or cCandy Corn in the past 24 hours. Weird.

I think I'm going to hang out in the Halloween section for a bit as the profit level is quite high. I've got quite a bit of cheese as well. I'm a bit miffed as I didn't find a single piece of candy on profiles this time around (and yes, it's been 24 hours) and I suspect I'm only being allowed to trick or treat about 5 - 7 times before being timed out. Oh well. It's not really that important as I'm enjoying hunting in the area.

I did get my Soul Catcher trap late last night.

I still haven't upgraded to the Cackle from last year's trap. Reaper's came out first. I do intend on upgrading to the Cackle eventually.
