I got tired of missing Skeleton mice (I was using the Monstrobot) so I've switched to the Reaper's Perch, Spellbook Base, Spooky Charm, Candy Corn cheese. I'm 9 away from moving on.

I've currently got ACRONYM equipped with my Dehydration Base (I was using Aqua, but I got tired of staling cheese.)

So far I caught the Cobweb and Hallowhead. I've tricked 4 mice and treated 5.

Well, I now have 9 Ghoulgonzola and 9 Candy Corn and I decided to head to HT. I felt kind of dumb considering I had just traveled to Cape Clawed and I hated leaving so soon, I had gotten just 5 Savoury Vegetables so far. But it only cost 520 gold to get to the HT if I used Larry so I didn't feel too bad.

I'm using the ACRONYM + Aqua. However, I'm thinking about switching to the Dehydration base especially after reading wolf's post. I really hate when cheese that I can't buy and/or is expensive to craft goes stale.

I've moved into the Haunted Manor. I'm getting really tired of catching Skeleton, Mutated Grey, and Mutated White mice. . . Especially as I have those Spooky Charms equipped...

I'm sorry you don't have many other friends playing, Wolfie. There are a lot of people on the forums who are expressing the same concerns. People go on way more than 30 hunts in a day, and unless you had a huge stockpile of cheese laying over from last year (which is what I had), then I can definitely see the frustration.

Don't worry. . . you'll have plenty of time.

EDIT: Guess who just crafted the spellbook base?!?! ME! That's who! YAY Here's an oddity though. . . I've switched my MSB out for my Spellbook base, and I go down to "Medium" for trap effectiveness. Take off the spooky charm and I go back up to "Strong" Odd right? I'm still gonna use the charms, because I actually wanna catch some good mice.

So now I'm broke again. . . 32K gold. I'll probably have to farm some in order to be able to buy the LE trap at the end of this event, but hey, big deal. Plus, I've got over 200 pieces of Gouda, so I probably won't have to buy any more to finish off my run in Sandtail. (Hopefully)

Hello everyone! I figured it was past time to post in here. After hearing so much about it, I started playing Mousehunt about a week ago and goodness, is it addicting. I'm still a beginner (obviously), so most of the conversation in this thread makes very little sense. But it's been a lot of fun so far, and I'm excited to catch up with you all.

So...currently hunting in the Haunted Terrortories and saving up for the Swiss Army trap, since I'm not sure my little Mouse Trebuchet will fare too well in the later Terrortories tiers. I'm already missing a lot of mice.

The mice shouldn't get any more difficult as you progress throughout the area. You will LOVE the trap at the end. . . guarantee it

You'll also make a better profit here than anywhere else, because you don't have to buy the cheese.

*waves hi to malkah* Welcome to the thread!! If you have any questions, obviously don't hesitate to ask and you'll probably receive more answers than you'll know what to do with. Don't worry about catching all of the mice this year. They'll be back next year. But you should be able to complete the area and get that uber shadow trap. If you need gold donations to help get your Swiss Army Mouse trap (and/or the trap at the end), I'd be more than happy to chip in.

But was that with a Spooky Charm equipped? The spooky charms seem to be the equivalent of that seasonal gouda cheese from the Christmas event. The big bad mice won't come near your trap without one perhaps?

Yeah, but I thought you had to have them equipped to catch most of the other Halloween mice. Maybe not, maybe they show up by regions.

I got a Tiny Cauldron from one of my Pumpkin Baskets I still need the Sock Ghost Plushie and then I'll be good on collectibles. And I still need the Cobweb Mouse....
