I was just coming to post that. ^^ After MH came back up, I did Larry's travel and noticed a new location next to the Meadow: the Haunted Terrortories. It has a cheese shoppe, general store, trapsmith, and charm shoppe. I haven't checked it out yet, though.
My candy bowl is set up to Treat! So anyone who stops by my profile will get Candy Corn Cheese.
If you haven't set up your candy bowl yet, please do so! (You do that by clicking on the big black and white/gold shield at the top left of your screen.)
ETA: I have to admit, I'm extremely surprised that the trap is a Shadow Trap. I wonder how powerful the upgrade will be compared to the Reaper's Perch.
The Soul Catcher is really nice though.
Exactly between the Bottomless Grave and Gorgon.
I set mine up for Trick. If you haven't been by the charm shop, they have a charm that requires 600 gold and one piece of each type of cheese. Then there are the upper level charms that are available for halloween candy. They have warpath commander charms as well as charms for the Jungle of Dread!
*can't believe she logged onto MH and didn't notice the Halloween event until she came here.
YAY!
Ok so what am I suppossed to be doing? XD

I set mine up for Treat. I don't know what the difference is so I just picked one at random.
EDIT: I was wondering what the difference was between trick and treat. So I clicked on people's baskets and I now know! If anyone else doesn't know and is wondering: if you set up your basket as treat, each person who clicks gets Candy Corn cheese. If you set up your basket as trick, each person who clicks gets Ghoulgonzola cheese.
Mine's set for trick @nah I think if you go to friend's profiles, if they have their candy bowls set up You get either one of too types of cheese, depending on what they have selected.
You need to catch a certain number of mice with each type of cheese to advance. Am I correct? I'm very new to this myself
Edit I just noticed the grave robber and the zombot unipire mice are back

That's what I meant. I'm sorry if it didn't come across very clear. I'll go back and edit it.

Here's the news post Wolf, in case you haven't seen it yet.

But first, to get started, travel to the Haunted Territories (it's in Gnawnia) and then visit the profiles of your friends to Trick or Treat and get cheese. (Your friends will have to set up their candy dishes or you won't be able to get anything, but mine is set up. )
The goal is the same as it was last year for those of us who were around then, but if you weren't here, you have to catch 10 mice in the Corn Maze with Candy Corn Cheese and 10 mice with Ghoulgonzola Cheese. That will unlock the Haunted House (I think that's what it's called). Then it's 20 pieces of each cheese to get to the next area. The Head's up display makes it pretty obvious where you're at. The more difficult the areas become, the more mice you can unlock to catch.
Yes I saw the link, and it made no sense But you cleared it up along with Wiki, I think I get it now. So when I catch the big mouse (I forget the name) I get the thing for the new trap, right? It's a shadow power too, no? I hope so cause that's the upgrade I need most desperately.
*I'll try my best to alternate my candybowl everyday between trick and treat for those of you who are freinds with me *

Naturally I sent out my daily gifts already. Sorry guys! I will start sending out Halloween stuff tomorrow. But be warned that I have way more friends than I can send out gifts, so you may be getting something every other day from me.
If you wish to send me a daily gift, I will take anything Halloween related.

Yep, yep.
Ok I figured out how to get Halloween candies *occasionally appears on other friends' doorbells. But what about cobwebs? Those Trapskins look cool
*edit nevermind apparently they're at the general store

I'm keeping a running tally of who is giving away what cheese on their profile page so that we don't have the disaster that was last year. Last year, everybody was automatically set to treat, and so at first everybody stockpiled huge amounts of Candy Corn Cheese while having next to no Ghoulganzola. Then it switched. We ended up all right, but boy was it a bumpy ride
TRICK:
Kat
Wolf
Aravanna
Shastastwin
Malkah
TREAT:
Narnian_At_Heart
DaughterOfTheKing
Lady Arwen
DiGs
FK
I'm sitting in here with ACRONYM + MSB + Ghoulganzola + Spooky Charm
Here are some things I'm excited about:
Cheese Shoppe
A place that SELLS Gilded Cheese?! That's Huge guys. If you haven't gotten your master burglar yet, make sure to buy about ten pieces of this. It will also help you in crafting Zurreal's Folly (Crystal Library) because you need a master burglar for the task.
Traps:
Probably won't spring for any of those trap skins, because cobwebs are apparently rarish. If I got one, it would have to be the ZFM one, because it does look awesome, and because it's the only of those three traps that I use.
That Shadow Trap looks wickedly amazing for low level players. Much better than the bottomless grave, but like FK said, not quite up to par with the Gorgon trap. It's reasonably priced too! I'm interested to see what the upgrade looks like. . . hopefully something better than the Cackle Lantern (or Reaper's Perch?)
General Store
More goodies! A place to buy Tier 3 gauntlet potions? NO FAIR
Charm Shoppe
Kat, FK, excited to see that Commander's charms can be purchased in the charm shop?!?!?!?! I sure am! That's what I'm going to be spending my halloween candy on if I get some!
Ultimate Power and Ultimate Luck Charms for sale (even with cobwebs)! Love!!!
Seriously, I more or less love the stuff in the charm store.
Looks like we're in for some serious fun, y'all!

Very few of my friends have their bowls set up, and none of them have them set up to trick *hint hint*
So far I've treated 3 mice
Edit: My Roommate was nice and got on and set hers to trick
Edit two: I caught a cobweb mouse which dropped a cobweb

So, out of curiosity, what trap setup is everyone using? I'm using ACRONYM+Molten Shrapnel+Candy Corn right now. I caught the Hollowhead first thing but since then I haven't caught any other event mice. I did attract a Pumpkin Hoarder but I missed him.
