I don't have much to compare it to as of yet, but I think I'm doing well in Wave 1. I've cleared all of the archers, and am now working on the Desert Soldier Mice

Well, thanks to King's Credits (for scrap metal) and selling SB (for the Net Cannon and Aqua Base), I am now sailing and hunting on the SS Huntington II!!! Yay!!!
And I've already gotten a drop of a compass, just waiting to catch more new mice and the other parts of the navigation kit.
And I'm already 37% Legendary. It's gone really quickly! Only 63% more until I'm...um...Hero!
Love God, love people
Well... I have yet to catch an aether. I have however caught a Crown Collector! I decided I'd buy one more batch of 20 SB off the marketplace and run through that in hopes of catching an aether mouse.
If I can catch one of these pesky mice, the only mice in the game that I will be missing are the snooty, high roller, leprechaun, and mobster. All special event mice.
I can't believe that you're already on the verge of having everything you need for the Tribal Isles! Part of me really hopes that you have a thoroughly terrible time with your Acolyte mouse . Good luck!!!!
I failed to catch a gargantuamouse. I decided to go after him with only a 50% chance of attracting him, which didn't happen. . . Oh well, still doing well.

Me too Digs! I was looking at Ram's posts earlier with my utmost astonishment!
I nearly have enough gold for my next trap upgrade (I think).

Hooray!! And congratulations. My favorite part about the Huntington is the mice designs. Aside from that, it's what I call a stepping stone area.
I have however caught a Crown Collector!
I'm so glad that my suggestion of going in armed to the gills with SB+ didn't leave you completely empty handed. Congrats on your Crown Collector!

That 50% was a complete guesstimate. I don't actually know what the attraction rate is. It may be less than that.

Well, if it makes you feel better DiGs, it's pretty well impossible to steamroll your way through the Tribal Isles with SB+. Yes, it helps, but unless you're stocked up on Tribal Isles loot say, from Christmas
(or more King's Credits with which to buy Tribal Isles loot), that's where pretty much everyone slows way down.
Ironically, the competitive side of me has definitely lessened in this game. I find it way more fun to hunt in the same area with Kat, my husband, and my other friends rather than be way far ahead catching all of the mice first. Plus with the way the Warpath works and the way the Living Garden is being set up, the more friends you have in the same area hunting with you, the more benefits you get. I think I've mentioned this before, but the Living Garden is going to require teamwork. So the more people that can catch up to me before they open that area, the better.
I'm currently hunting in the Catacombs with the ACRONYM + Explosive Base + Cheddar cheese. I just bought 500 or so Ionized Salt and 1,500 Brie cheese. Now, I want to go back to the Forbidden Grove for a bit so I crafted 159 Ancient Cheese. I want more though before I head there so that's why I'm hunting with Cheddar in the Catacombs. With the ACRONYM and Explosive Base, I have an Ultimately Stale effect (the second highest stale effect possible) so the cheese will go stale fast. And according to the Wiki, the Catacombs is a good place to farm Stale Cheese because "few or no mice are drawn to standard cheeses."
I have 132 Marble cheese, 55 Swiss, and 39 Cheddar and I haven't used those cheese since I was back in the Meadow. So I figured, why not turn them into Stale Cheese? I can't use them for anything until I get a Brie potion (which I haven't yet) or I need those types to use with Gauntlet potions (which won't be for a while)
So from the spring Egg Hunt, I have 14 eggs. I was not at a high enough level then to get all the eggs needed in order to smash them. So I have 14 eggs I can't smash. Does anyone know if there'll be a future time when I will be able to smash them? Perhaps a future egg hunt when I've leveled up enough to get the rest of the eggs that I need?

I wasn't aware that you needed to have a certain level to be able to smash them. Does that just mean that you didn't have the opportunity to get the Rabbit Mallet (or whatever that thing was called?) I'm a bit confused by your question...
Still no gargantuamouse, but I did clear out my Desert Soldier Mice, and am now working on my Vanguard Mice

Yea, I didn't get the Mallet. And also, my understanding was that you had to have all the eggs or you couldn't smash them even if you had the Mallet and I didn't have them all. I had started playing very shortly before that event and if I recall, due to what level I was at, I did not have access to some of the locations where the eggs were dropping.
Boy I'm sure glad you remembered that DiGs cause I had COMPLETELY forgotten about the Mallet.
Well, I don't know what their plans are for next year, but they specifically said they would be adding more eggs into the game. If they're going to do that, they're going to have to provide a way for people to open those eggs that didn't participate last year. I'm going to assume then, that you'll be able to open them n_a_h.
*wraps up Wave 2 and starts on Wave 3* Just to give DiGs something to look forward to....

Gulp!
Wil, you might try equipping Brie with an Attraction charm, it's a lot cheaper, and would have similar effects.
Overnight, I caught a Crimson Commander Mouse (on a streak of one ), but hey, I'll take what I can get. Still working on my Vanguard mice, but I'll probably have them taken care of before noon:

Well I am 50,005 points away from moving up one spot on my freinds scoreboard
And I need minimum 70,000 more gold for my Rhinobot
edit make that approx. 25,000 points (I was looking at the un-updated one )

Finished Wave 1 of my first run through sandtail! Wave 2 looks a lot more challenging. I've caught a mouse every other horn call. Missed one, and had one stale. (I really hate stale rated bases when they're paired with stale traps).

I'm enjoying the ship, and I agree, FK, I do like the mice. They're not creepy like Catacombs and FG! (I love the shipwrecked mouse--the mouse he's holding makes me think of Mickey Mouse! Of course!
)
I will definitely have to go back to some of the areas and collect mice that I didn't get. It's just fun to be in a new area!
Love God, love people
