So, over the weekend, I collected 45 vanilla beans, and went into the Cove with a total of 51 pieces of VS. I've caught three liches, but none of them dropped my lich jewel yet.

This makes 8 mice caught without a drop yet. This stinks

I'm gonna ask a really stupid question here.... You didn't accidentally smash the assignment? Or get the Jewel to drop and just didn't see it show up on your journal? I'm REALLY surprised you still haven't gotten it.

Well after hitting a wall at the end of Wave 3 yesterday and not being able to catch a darn thing, once arriving in Wave 4 my hunting stats went through the roof. Caught my 20th Warmonger, got my 5 Papyrus in less than 2 hours :O (normally takes me 2 days), and got 2 Tier 2 potions out of the King's Gauntlet in about 1 hour. Soooo.... I'm already back in the Warpath again Cruising through Wave 1, 30-0-34.

An interesting thing that I just happen to notice yesterday.... something was very briefly turned back on that hasn't worked in a really long time. I clicked on my hunter's horn and saw that old message that says something like "You sounded your Hunter's Horn. You have gone on a hunt with 1 other person and received 75 points." :O That's been turned off for forever, and it didn't stick around long yesterday either. I suspect the devs are trying to get it working again for tournament purposes.

*can't help but toss out another fangirl squee in excitement for tournaments*

I finally got my lich jewel off of lich 11! This allowed me to craft zurreal's folly. I then caught zurreal a few hours later!

Now I'm in the garden, amping up for a final Mystic run (provided that I get my last mystic page). Amplifier sits at 127%, so I've just got 33% more to go until it's full.

Good luck on your mystic run, wil! I can't forsee you having a ton of problem due to a lower starting amp (just because the difference is miniscule).

My tower run isn't going as well as I'd hoped. I filled up to 160, but I've had runs go better at 150. I'm at 131 right now, and have yet to catch a bishop (although I have thankfully released them)

I've set up shop in the library for a bit. Trying to catch an Aether mouse. We'll see what happens when I run out of SB. I'll probably head back to the warpath and try and finish up wave 3 & 4.

DiGs:im sorry to hear it going so badly, r u by any chance seeing too many FTA? might wanna change to a wooden base with target for a while just to not have FTA, not sure if it helps,
SK: good luck on ur aether, although i havent had any luck, i used sb+ for at least 2 days in CL, but no aethers at all, maybe ur more lucky?

I have been hanging out in the Forbidden Grove farming scrap metal--5 more pieces and I can build a ship!
I did go into the Acolyte Realm last night, just because I can! But I didn't stay long; it was late and I wanted to get back to the Catacombs for scrap metal. (With a detour to the Great Gnarled Tree for some Bubbleh).

Tower run started going better, but now I'm stuck on the queen. I've still got 90% left in my amplifier, so catching her isn't an impossibility. Just gotta be patient

My tower run also ended successfully, and I have officially gotten everything I need for the spellbook base (well. . . apart from the platinum, the blueprints, and the points ).

I camped out overnight in the Garden, and managed to snag my Call to Arms. It's hard to believe it, but I'm finally in the Fiery Warpath!!!! Still a bit unsure as to how this area works, but I have a PM out to FK which should clarify things immensely

Well I hit a wall in Wave 2. Somehow my charms became unequipped last night. I have no idea how. I kind of wonder if my husband accidentally did it trying to change something on his account. Whatever it was, my catch rate overnight was non-existent and now that I've armed my charms this morning, I'm STILL having a hard time catching a mouse. Ah well, I'm sure the bad luck streak will end soon.
