Digs, I had the same problem with the Cove. Then I got everything else and went back. It dropped the first time. I'm betting it's not a 100% drop unless it's the last item on your list.
@wolf, congrats on the Nerg Chieftain!!
@n_a_h, LOL at the 462 remaining gold. I don't usually let my gold get that low as I'm paranoid about travel costs. But you're where you need to be and you're equipped to the gills with cheese so you should be in good shape.
By the way, has someone shared the Timers link with you yet? If not, just go to Furoma.com and at the top where it says Timers, just click on that.
@Rama, I second DiGs's suggestion. Do what is the most fun for you!
@wil, good luck on your Tower run! Hope it's a success this time. It's definitely a really good start.
I got pretty upset with the game last night. I caught an Elub Lich mouse, but it did not drop the Lich Jewel. I thought that these Zurreal Trap parts had a 100% drop rate.
Nooo... not at all. Have all of your drops to this point been 100%?
I'm betting it's not a 100% drop unless it's the last item on your list.
Negative. Hubby was stuck on the Lich Jewel, his last item, for about two or three days (mind you, he doesn't play as much as we do, so DiGs's time should go faster). Caught several lichs, but didn't get the Jewel til late last night.
It's times like these that I wish Furoma.com or the MH Wiki would add in drop rate percentages.
Well, I'm doing my best to keep track of my catch rates for DiGs. Here they are so far. Mind you these numbers are a bit skewed cause A. there's not a lot of attractions for some of these yet, and B. the charms are changing so it's not super accurate. But the Reaper's Perch is remaining the same.
Fall Familiar - 100% (yeah....lol, I probably shouldn't even include this one)
Harvest Harrier - 57%
Harvester - 50%
Pumpkin Head, Scarecrow, Whirleygig - 100%
I finished my ZT run!!!
finished within a day...im very gladXD
reaper looks pretty good rite?
back to Crystal Library, waiting for spring so i can fill my amp for another run, this time tackling the Chess Master, is it rite to try and get one even though im like so far from baron?
Have all of your drops to this point been 100%?
Um. . . yes. Is that not normal?

Wow! That's the fastest tower run I've ever seen! Congratulations!

thanks DiG
i wonder what to do now, just waasting my time till summer, thats 6 days, i might go acolyte hunting after my current assignment
or not, since low point return, im charging my point to 58mil for SBB and those special ZT traps, still 20mil to go, thats a lot, around 2k hunts at CL, since i calculated around 10k point return, i should go furoma rite? get a few mojos? i dunno, so indecisive...please give me suggestions
reaper looks pretty good rite?
I sure like it.
Congrats on your successful Tower run! That was fast.

Yep, definitely. You need to catch one before you reach Baron or you can't get into the Warpath.
i dunno, so indecisive...please give me suggestions
Points? Hmm... I think the best places are Balack's Cove, the Tower, and the Library. I'm not sure on that though. I usually had enough trouble catching the mice I needed that by the time I got them, I already had all the points I needed.
Have all of your drops to this point been 100%?
Um. . . yes. Is that not normal?
No. I haven't seen a single person get a 100% drop rate on every item required for that assignment. They're definitely a high drop rate, but not 100%.
Well, FBF was short, sweet, and to the point today. I wasn't typing while I was watching so I'll probably forget some stuff.
~They're working fast and furious on both tournaments and the Halloween stuff.
~They said that there will be new ways to get SB with King's Credits, and the new way to get King's Credits has to do with player loyalty. (The more you play, the more credits you get. )
~Next week will be Jacob's art session and he will be doing something for the Halloween event.
~They've got a couple new Library assignments in the works but those won't be added in probably until after Halloween and tournaments are done.
That's all I can remember. I'm sure they'll have a more detailed report up on the forums soon, and like I said, it was short today, maybe 15 min long, so if you want to watch it you can.
thanks FK ill consider the choices, but prob not balack cause yeah, the tides arent very welcoming, maybe SG then ZT again, but then, its fall and i only have a CoT, btw, for winter, should i go there to farm evcen thoguh i only have HB and DDA, if so, which should i use?
Have camped out in Lagoon and GGT for almost a full week now. Troll and Sith Mooses remain elusive and slippery when encountered. Probably migrate back to Furoma.
Get the sense that the bonus and tournament stuff is limited to those above a certain level.
âSafe?â said Mr. Beaver; âdonât you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? âCourse he isnât safe. But heâs good. Heâs the King, I tell you.â
I spent all my gold on Ionized Salt and have crafted 309 Ancient Cheese.
Yowza! That much salt must have set you back a pretty penny! Oh well, at least you've got plenty of cheese now (which will turn into MEGA profits in the Catacombs). Good luck!
Yea, about 200k gold. But I don't care. I wanted to make as much Ancient cheese as I possibly could. And I'm not using it in the Catacombs. I'm using it in the Forbidden Grove and Acolyte Realm. That's why I crafted it. And according to the Catch Rate Estimates, I'm making almost as much in the AR and FG as I did in the Catacombs. 1753 gold (FG) and 1720 (AR) as opposed to 1808 (Catacombs with RB). If I used the Ancient cheese in the Catacombs, I'd only be making 1719 gold.
Also, I'm getting something I need: Runes, and catching new mice while I'm farming for gold so I can eventually buy a Hydro trap when I get around to hunting on the SSH. It's a win-win situation.

I usually don't either. But, I knew how much it cost to get from the Bazaar (where I bought the salt) back to the Catacombs and I made sure I had enough to do that. Then, once I hit the Catacombs, I knew that I had enough RB left without crafting anymore to get enough gold to head to the FG.
And yea, I have heard about the timers. They're really helpful. Thanks though!

Sweet! I can't wait!
EDIT: Ok, I have a question. So I caught a Realm Ripper and was transported to the Acolyte Realm. Now, how do I leave the Acolyte Realm? I know that you can just travel back to FG for 1,500 gold. However, is there another way to leave it? Like if you catch a certain mouse or when the gates open or close again in the FG? I didn't see anything on the Wiki so I'm guessing you just have to spend the gold to travel.
Get the sense that the bonus and tournament stuff is limited to those above a certain level.
If by "certain level" you mean "just started and haven't made it out of the Meadow yet", then yes.
The devs design all of their special content to be available to hunters of all levels. Now obviously the higher level/better trap setup you are/have the easier it's going to be, but you're certainly not going to be excluded. And really unless you just started playing two days before the event ends, there's no reason not to be able to finish. Regarding tournaments, you may not be able to participate in every tournament loaded into the game, but they had White Mice tournaments for goodness sake. You'd be able to participate in SOMETHING.
Now, how do I leave the Acolyte Realm?
Yep, just travel out whenever you're ready. Now the Forbidden Grove will be closed for four hours total (you may have already known that) so if you don't want to hang out in the Catacombs in the meantime, you may as well just sit it out in the Acolyte Realm and hope to get a rare rune in there. (The Sorcerer mice drop them, but they might be the only ones.)

Actually, I didn't know that. I thought the open and close cycle only had to do with whether or not you could travel to the Acolyte Realm. I didn't realize it affected traveling to the Forbidden Grove. Sweet, now I know! Thanks.
And speaking of runes, I just caught two Socerer mice in a row: one with my 9:45 trap check and one with my 9:46 horn blow. They each dropped a rune.
Nope, the FG is on a 16 hour open, 4 hour closed cycle. (That's why I asked you about the timers ) And the FG is vastly superior to getting Runes in. I think you make more gold there as well cause there aren't as many Gate Guardian Mice.
Well my amplifier is at 142% and probably once I top it out, I'll head out of the Seasonal Garden and take advantage of the Tribal Isle weekend. All this talk of tournies is really making me want to farm stuff for it.
@nah it's also important to note however that if you wait to be booted to the Acylote Realm most of your travel costs will be cheaper than if you were to leave from the Forbidden Grove. This is assuming you aren't passing the meadow
Oh! Look at this I just got one one from a Vanquisher (PS I swore I had more attraction charms, but I must not have unequipped them ) http://mhwiki.hitgrab.com/wiki/index.ph ... ower_Charm
And it's pretty!

I have got 4/6 of my luscious lumbers thus far. Probably finish with those sometime today. If I finish in time, I'll head over to Elub Shores in order to fill up on Seashells . I need roughly ten more seashells to make my shell cheese. Then it's on to farming peppers

back to nerg since im gonna duck out on fall...its not doing well for me
Wolf: its ok, elub wasnt nice unless u have those limited edition trapps or HB or Oasis Node
as for runes, i never really needed them, i converted runic potions i got from the easter event back in spring, and also from the many other runic potions from camping for fire salt...and the rest...i have 200+left from catching my acolytes, which i mite do again when there is nothing left to do
