Could someone explain how waves work? I'm a little confused.

Are you referring to my constant reference of them in my posts?

The Marching Flame are preparing to invade Gnawnia. Their Fiery Warpath to the castle has reached a standoff in the Sandtail Desert where you must hold them back at all costs! These mice are highly organized, you must defeat each wave before progressing to the next.

Each wave consists of a certain number of mice (those are the numbers I'm constantly posting) and once those all reach 0 you move onto the next wave. Four waves total, the last wave has the Warmonger who drops parts for what are currently the three best traps in the game. (And I have them all. YAY! ;)) )

41-0-37-50-26-16

I didn't know drop rates ever got that low.

You should see Zugzwang's Left Sock. ;))

A game update will be applied shortly. The game may be unavailable for several minutes while the update is applied.

*gasp* TOURNAMENTS?!?!?!?!? MAYBE?!!??!?! POSSIBLY!!?!?!?

Well I guess we'll see. ;)) It might just be some boring patch. FBF should start here in a few minutes and I'm sure that if the update isn't done by then, they shall enlighten us as to what it is.

Wouldn't be amazing if it was a month long Halloween event! *Can't even fathom the how awesome that would be!*

Finally nabbed a Master of the Cheese Claw. For some reason those guys always give me the most trouble. Students too.

And it looks like MH is officially down. It'd be nice if it would go back up before class starts in 8 minutes. The suspense of what could be coming will prevent my brain from properly delving into French :P

FBF Tidbits
~The update will include new trap skins. They are completely revamping how they work, it will NOT be the same as the old skins where you smash the trap and rebuild it with the skin. The old skins are being retired.
~Three new skins for three different traps. No idea on how the skins are acquired. Should be announced in the upcoming news post.

~Jacob is working on tournament art currently. (So it's DEFINITELY not coming out today)
~They're ahead of schedule on tournament programming, but they gave no hints as to a release date.

~Lots of requests for Mousehunt to be available in Google+. They're keeping an open mind to it, but haven't discussed it at all. Obviously that'd be a HUGE project.

That was about it. ;))

Interesting...

Someday I need to find out exactly what Google+ is...

MH's still down where I am...

And I've got Zurreal's Folly crafted! I am back in the library hunting for the pesky mouse. I'm a bit light on gold for the new shadow trap, so I'll likely go hit the catacombs/grove/acolyte realm for a bit. I'd go back to the warpath, but I'm not entirely ready to go back yet.

Thus why I don't mind kicking a little real money toward their direction. Can't even imagine all the work that goes into that.

Someday I need to find out exactly what Google+ is...

Google+ is Google's version of Facebook. It has been in beta for a while now (I got in but never ever did anything with it) and when the whole Facebook debacle happened a couple days ago, they opened it up to everyone. So if you want to create an account and check it out, you can, but it is extremely bare bones. I suspect they would never have opened it up had people not been so up in arms over the Facebook changes. ;))

And I've got Zurreal's Folly crafted!

Congrats!! And I see you caught Zurreal as well so congrats on that too! :D

Yup! Loot drop included! I'm about 300,000 in gold shy of the money needed to craft the Reaper trap, so I'm going to camp out in the catacombs for the rest of the day and then maybe head back over to the Grove when it reopens.

Edit: Due to an acolyte catch and the selling of a dragonsbane charm and some SB, I've got the Reaper's Perch crafted!

I'm not sure if I should hold onto my clockapault now or not since I have a new trap. I'll probably hold onto it for a bit and see what happens with the game development next.

Kat, conga rats on your Reaper's Perch! If you try it out in the Garden, let me know how it goes! Conga rats on your zurreal success as well!

I'm having slow (but steady) progress on my latest furoma assignment:

Catch 15 Archer Mice in the Training Grounds (Currently 4/15)
Catch a Mojo (Done)
Catch 3 Students of the Cheese Belt (0/3)
Catch 3 Ninja mice in the Dojo (0/3)
Catch a Gold Mouse using a luck charm (0/1)

Really not hunting all the much on the weekend due to the dial-up here at home. I'll get done what I get done ;). But, if I finish this soon, I will be able to get in a Seasonal Garden assignment (Summer hopefully), which will put me over the much needed 900 library points. I should finish up the library sometime this week (well. . . unless I have trouble with the zurreal assignment.)

Paul sold SB and sent me enough gold to buy the Digby Drillbot. It's awesome!! I'm actually catching good mice again. I'm just working my way up to Legendary slowly (35% shy now).

Good for you! It's one of my favorite traps right now (besides ACRONYM). I'm actually one of the few that got mine for free via a loot drop... which made it that much better.

In other news I caught my first Mermouse and I'm contemplating going to the Nerg Plains for a while.

Kat, congrats on your Reaper's Perch!! :D What are you going to work on next? I'm still working towards getting all of the materials for the Papyrus Base as well as making money and just general leveling. ;)) I may start making runs to farm some Gauntlet potions too in anticipation for Tournaments, as well as restocking on Tribal Isle supplies.
Oh, and I'm never selling another trap back again. Knowing my luck in the next year or two they'll introduce the upgrade to the Clockapult and I'd have to buy it again. Or have an assignment that requires it... 2.9mil gold.... o.O

DiGs, how many more assignments do you think you have to do before you get enough points to hunt Zurreal?

Ram, congrats on your Digby Drillbot!! I noticed you've been working through the Digby Dirt Dwellers and only have the BBB and Nugget to go. I'll send you some more sludge. ;)

Wolf, congrats on your Mermouse!! :D

So I just discovered on the Scoreboards page that they've added Weekly Points, Weekly Gold, and Weekly Catches. Interesting. Oh, and don't look at the Weekly Gold scoreboard unless you want to be depressed. :P ;))

*Naturally looks at the weekly gold page...* So what's depressing again? Besides the people who are making over 7,000,000 g a week?

*Looks at friends weekly gold and is content in her standing :)*

*Looks at weekly catches and is depressed XD*

Thanks for the sludge FK! (Never thought I would ever write that sentence! ;)))

Also, working on gathering supplies for ship building. Any and all splintered wood would be great! (If and when it comes up again on the daily gift).

I like to send you all gifts, but since I haven't been where you all are, what gifts are best? I know not to sent the collectibles, but of the stale cheese, the Mozzarella, and the sludge, is one better than the others?

Sludge and stale cheese are about equal for me. But potions and crafting pieces always go above those two. I don't think I've ever used Mozzarella cheese in my entire time playing. Does anyone use it for anything?
