Yeah, congrats on the Mojo (nickname for the Master of the Dojo) And the Sensei as well. WITH THE MUTATED VENUS MOUSE TRAP!!! Holy cow!! I just want you to know that with your setup, the average catchrate for the Sensei is 6.63% That's about 1 out of 17. Crazy!
I know...I couldn't believe it! But......he didn't drop the Master Seal and I need that for the Ambush trap. So, I'm having to go back through to get the pieces of the Master Seal (but I don't have to catch another 'Mojo'), but now I can't even catch a student, so the game is making up for it!
...And still haven't caught that Assassin, though I have attracted one now (that's closer than I was!)
So I expect to spend a lot more time in the Dojo/Meditation Room before I get my Ambush trap. This is really interesting...and frustrating...all at the same time!
Love God, love people
Ramagut, I was in the dojo for about a month and a half (if not longer). Catching one student from each school will take two days or less . Watcha gonna do next?

Um ram....
You craft the master's seal and the Mojo drops the Onyx Stone which you'll need for ACRONYM (not Ambush).
Stocking up on RB...

The Catacombs are not doing that well for me lately. It was going great when I first came in here but now it's really slowing down.
Over the past twelve hours, I've had 34 trap checks/horn blows. Of those 34, I've had 13 misses, 8 Skeleton mice (!!!), and 3 Giant Snail Mice. So almost 75% of my hunts so far have either yielded nothing, cost me points or gold, or given me less than a 1,000 gold.
Since five this evening (it's now a little after seven), I've had three Skeleton mice, two misses, one mouse stealing almost 1,000 gold, and only one mouse of value: a Ghost mouse worth 3,590 gold.
I was doing so much better when I first came in here.
@nah are you using Radioactive blue or Ancient cheese? and what trap do you have equipped?
That being said I'm actually having issues in the Lab... I only got 1 drop so far so I'm switching bases to my Wooden w/ Target.

I'm using the same thing I've been using ever since I entered the Catacombs: Obelisk of Slumber, Dehydration Base, Radioactive Blue, plus my Lucky Golden Shield. It's probably just a phase. I know that you're supposed to use Ancient cheese so you won't attract Skeleton mice but I don't want to spend the money to craft it.
Yep well you're doing everything right so it probably is. (And you'd still make plenty of profit with RB)

A monumental occasion has occurred this morning. I completed my first successful survey. I don't know how many of these I'll continue to do in the future. They just ask for way too much personal information and I really don't appreciate it. (ie my full zip code, including the additional four digits, my birthday, how many people live in the house, etc etc) It's pretty easy to take that info these days and look up everything else they could possibly want to know about me and my husband. The joys of living in the digital age...
On a completely different note, I don't know how many people besides ceppault and myself don't like posting the Mousehunt News stories cause we don't like spamming our non-MH friends, so I discovered a way to post those stories so only your MH friends can see them.
First of all, you have to set up your group of friends who play MH. On the home Facebook page, select Account in the top right and Edit Friends.
Click Create a List at the top of the page.
Call it Mousehunt or whatever you prefer, and then add all of your Mousehunt buddies and then save it.
When you go to post a news story and the little Facebook thingy pops up, next to the Share button is a little lock, click on it.
Click Customize.
By These People select Specific People... Then type in the name you gave your Mousehunt group list.
Save, and post.

I don't know that you're SUPPOSED to use Ancient cheese. (Ancient cheese still attracts skeleton mice.) You need to in the FG, but the Catacombs, eh, it's really whatever you want.
What I found, personally, is back in the day when I was in that area, I always had a TON of stale cheese and no Radioactive Blue Potions. For me, I made a gold at a faster rate using Ancient cheese because even though it cost more to make that cheese, you removed farming in the Lab for potions from the equation (where you make very little gold).
HOWEVER, nowadays, I have more Radioactive Blue potions on my account than I know what to do with. Therefore, since I've removed Lab farming from the equation, it's more profitable to use RB cheese because it's cheaper to make.
My personal suggestion for you, use RB cheese and save your Ancient cheese for the Forbidden Grove.
That being said I'm actually having issues in the Lab... I only got 1 drop so far so I'm switching bases to my Wooden w/ Target.
The key to potion drops in the Lab is to max out your luck. The mice there are wimpy enough that you don't have to go with a physical trap setup either.
Well, I am coming along on Wave 2 quite nicely. I'm one mouse away from wrapping up the archers and moving onto the warriors. Will I get this wave finished by the end of the day? We'll see.
I don't even know the other 4 digits of my zipcode...

I know, that's what I had equipped before switching bases. Still doing poorly (though at least now I'm getting Research drops and 2 more potions) I might try my dehydration base...

There are USPS websites out there that can look it up for you. I had to do that to figure out mine.
Well I didn't QUITE finish up Wave 2 last night, though I was close. The reason I didn't was because Cavalry Mice are worth a nice bit of gold, so I equip my Wealth Charms to go with them. Yay profit! But I attract other mice too so i don't get the nice chains and therefore not the bonus retreating mice to go with it.
I'm up to 1.86mil gold this morning so I'm moving right along on saving up for Reaper's Perch.

It's like a race seeing who will make it first. I'm 99.99% sure that you will. The only way I'll beat you is if they release something uber cool in the Baron Area, which requires you to deplete your fundage. I've got two metamorphic rocks, and enough money to buy a third, but I've still got 400 library points to accrue before even attempting to after Zurreal. (Congrats on completing your first survey by the way! It's an excellent way of making extra gold if you're willing to sell it on the marketplace.)
Along those lines, I'm (once again) having wrotten luck with my library assignments. Yesterday, I got one that required catching a Tome-Sprite (SB only). I didn't have this mouse yet, so I thought I'd go for it. 20 pieces of SB later (and that's all I was willing to use), and zilch. I've smashed that assignment.
While I was on vacation, I was completing an 80 pt assignment a day, now it's been weeks since I actually even completed one. I guess that's just the way luck works. Sometimes you're the mouse. . . sometimes you're the Monstrobot

I am having a much better day right now in the lab I'm up to 11 RB potions... and I might hit the catacombs soon

Bought a shadow trap. Had all the cheese stolen for over an hour. Got annoyed. Sold it back. Going back to original plan and farming gold until I can get a much better shadow trap. That and a Digby Drillbot.
Almost 1000 Horn Blows. Blowin that Moose Call. I wonder if it sounds like Mooses in a real Moose Call? Life's tough questions. A Coyote Call is supposed to sound like a wounded rabbit. Heard that one before. Rather unsettling noise. Does bring in the coyotes. I think I watch too much Sponge Bob. I need a nap. Watching for the kiddos to wander in for the evening feeding.
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”

Um. . . ouch. You know you're going to have to buy one eventually right (I love the way you play this game, it's so laissez-faire ).
Wolfie, you honestly don't have tons of RB potions lying around? I got TONS back at the Easter event, and just used up the last of my greater rb potions. I still have tons of regulars. Any ways, good luck with your farming.

I used 'em all shortly before my first entry into the tribal isles... I tend to go broke every time I buy a trap so I'm always in need of more RB/gold. I'm in the catacombs now though with 228 pieces... I love high cheese conversion rates 18 is so much better than 2.
