*headdesk* Well. . . for writing it at 4AM, I didn't do too bad
I finished my current assignment, and started another tower research one. However, it was a Technic King assignment, and I'm not doing any more of those. I would have done a mystic king assignment, but unfortunately didn't get one. So I smashed the assignment, and have headed over to the catacombs. On the way over here, I purchased another metamorphic rock, which brings me up to 2 rocks, and 500 library points.
I figure I can make a good amount of gold hanging out in here for the rest of the day (or at least until I can get enough to buy another metamorphic rock).

DiGs, do you have the runes and onyx stones already? Oh, and the droid parts?
Didn't realize I could get a shadow trap already--d'oh!! Although I will have enough for my mutated trap today!! (Hopefully--and at the rate I'm going I should). And then I will venture into the Mouseoleum.
Thanks for checklist, oh mighty mentor, digs! (And for the help as well, oh mighty other mentor, FK!)
EDIT: After reading through both of the lists, now I'm totally confused.
EDIT EDIT: I went and got the Sinister Portal! It's a Stargate!!!
Love God, love people
*Has felt guilty about not posting here* Soooo, last time I posted Wolfy wanted to know what traps and bases I have.... at least that's what I think she wanted to know.... So, I have the... *checks her MH*
Bases: Dehydration, Stone, Wooden w/ target, Wooden.
Weapons:Mouse Trebuchet, Mouse Rocketine, Tacky Glue Trap, High Tension Spring, 500 Pound Spiked Crusher.
I am at 29,337 gold (I bought a TON of brie) and am currently hunting at the great gnarled tree, I am 60% done with master. I'm still saving up for the SAM trap still.
RL Sister to Melian Maia
Adopted Sister to Weirdo and Gildor_Inglorien
*remembers asking that, but forgets why she asked XD* I think it had something to do with bases... when you can get the explosive base- it's more powerful than the stone base

I need to get 12 Scrap Metal before I can craft the ACRONYM. That's next on my list of what to do. (I have enough points to craft it, I just need the metal and another 620k gold). I'm considering going back to the Town of Gnawnia and stay there long enough to catch a few Steel mice and hope they drop it. All other locations with mice that drop the Scrap Metal are either inaccessible by me right now or else are hard to catch with the traps and bases I currently have. And I don't want to waste my time and gold fooling around in other locations when the Town of Gnawnia would be easy to have high catch rates.
However, I don't remember ever having gotten Scrap Metal dropped there when I was hunting there back when I first started playing. Maybe I didn't have a good enough setup back then? I was planning to use my Swiss Army Trap and either the Explosive or Dehydration Base and Swiss cheese. Hopefully, that'll work.
PS. I'm just 4k gold away from the Obelisk of Slumber!
EDIT: I just bought the Obelisk and I'm down to 5,050 gold. Which I'm going to have to use soon to make more Radioactive Blue cheese because I'm down to 14 pieces. Fortunately, I have lots of Radioactive Blue potions (74) and lots of Brie cheese (672). However, using the Obelisk and the Dehydration Base, I'm going to make more gold in the Catacombs then I would using the Sinister Portal and Dehydration Base in the Mousoleum. Now, I'm going to stick here for awhile and try to build up gold. I need 600k to buy the ACRONYM blueprints.
EDIT EDIT: I went and got the Sinister Portal! It's a Stargate!!!
LOLOL And you wouldn't be a fan of that in any way would you?

There would be a reason for that Scrap Metal only drops off of steel mice if you catch them with the Digby Drillbot. The place to get scrap metal is in the Catacombs. And now that you have the Obelisk of Slumber (Congrats!!) you can start farming them.
Ah, ok. Thanks, fk
By the way, I just caught a Scavenger Mouse and he dropped ..... one Scrap Metal! Plus an Ancient Potion. I love the Catacombs!
Ram, conga rats on your two new traps! I'm excited for ya!!!
Wolf, haven't seen you in here for a while. How is your gauntlet battle going?
FK, I already have the runes and the onyx stones. I'm not worried about the droid parts (7500 gold. . . . ooh scary). So I really just need the 4 more metamorphic rocks in order to have it.
My most recent assignment was for autumn:
Catch 20 mice in the Seasonal Garden
Catch 10 mice in the Seasonal Garden using a Luck Charm
Catch 1 Whirleygig mouse using a tactical trap
Catch 4 Harvest Harrier Mice
Catch 1 Harverster Mouse
I've done everything except catching the Harvester mouse. It's only autumn for 11 hours and twenty minutes, so I'm really stuck between a rock and a hard place. Hopefully I'll nab my Harvester before time runs out.

@nah just so you know now, you are better off using Stale Cheese to craft it than Ancient Potions, since the conversion rate is extremely costly.
@Digs, it's going perhaps a bit slowly I'm finishing up Tier 3 right now, over all I'm trying to stock up on Tier 6 potions and have been bouncing back and forth getting loot drops... right now I'm at 98.79% but I level up faster the higher in the Gauntlet I am. But I still don't like Tier 3... Can't wait until I have enough Gold for the Horrific Venus Mouse Trap! I'm up to 431,327 right now... and I only need the Thorned Mouse Trap plans.

It does not look like I'll be finishing this task before the end of Fall. I need a Harvester mouse, which isn't likely to happen. I despise this season! The devs really need to adjust it to make it easier. I mean, it really doesn't pay for me to even be in the Garden for any seasons other than Spring or Summer. Winter is tough, Fall is unbearable. I have caught 3/25 Harvester mice, and I'm using the best shadow trap in the game (well, except for the recently introduced Reaper's Perch). I'm sorry, but that's just poor planning on the dev's part. [/rant]

No, no, not at all!!!
Well, I'm just biding my time now waiting to level up to Grandmaster. 12% more last I checked and I have all the mice in the Mousoleum. As far as Indigenous mice, I need the crown collector and that stinking Master Burglar. I've attracted 3, but haven't caught one yet.
And I'm curious, when do we go to the lagoon? it's as a Grandmaster, but not on your lists. Just curious, because I still need 5 of the Forest Guild mice.
And following masters digs and FK's lists! Thanks for the help!
Love God, love people
I'm out of Tier 3!!! I'm also at 99.41% I have to say Tier 3 is my least favorite Tier. I even do better in Tier 6 than Tier 3!

I partially agree, and I partially don't. I do agree that the Shadow traps are underpowered compared to the other traps (physical, tactical, and hydro) and it's made more frustrating by the fact that they're beyond the most expensive.
Having said that, these areas aren't the Town of Gnawnia or the Catacombs where you walk in and catch every mouse that wanders by your trap. It's a Lord level area and it's supposed to be hard. I wouldn't like the game if they made every area a cake-walk to get through.
Plus, you are not required to complete the assignment. If it's giving you too much trouble just smash it and get a new one. Having to catch the Harvester is entirely up to you.
As far as Indigenous mice, I need the crown collector...
You may already know this, but the Crown Collector is likely beyond you right now, even if you could already hunt in the Bazaar. Its attraction is directly proportional to the amount of King's Crowns that you have, and I've heard on the forum that a good target it aim for is minimum 80 silver crowns before you try for this guy.
And I'm curious, when do we go to the lagoon? it's as a Grandmaster, but not on your lists.
I didn't include it just because I'm afraid of overwhelming people with information, so I only included what DiG's had mentioned.
Yes, you can go to the Lagoon at any time as soon as you hit Grandmaster. My personal suggestion is to wait to go there until you have the Ambush Trap from Furoma, but it's certainly not required.
Congrats on getting all of your Shadow Mice by the way.
I'm also at 99.41%
Wooooot!!
*works her way through Wave 3*

What I meant was that the best shadow trap in the game (up until a few days ago) should be performing at at least 60% in the garden for even the toughest mice. I don't want the game to be "easy" but I wouldn't mind this one area to be "easier."
That being said, Fall came and went without me nabbing my Harvester Mouse. I hate to smash this assignment as that's the only thing I still need to complete it, but it won't be autumn for a several days, and I could complete several other assignments by then.
But as for right now, I did manage to fill my amplifier, and so I'm trying to do another Mystic Run. If this run is successful, then I will only need to do one more before I have everything (page wise) for the spellbook base. I'll just have to sit on them until I get the neccessary pointage.
Not doing any more tower runs will definitely be a blessing (I don't see why you like this area so much, FK ) as it will give me time to accrue money for my new and improved Shadow Trap. In addition to that, I'll be able to go after my silth mouse (which I've been putting off long enough).
At any rate, I'm a 72% Lord right now. Probably level up sometime in late Octoberish?
