Well that was fast. If I had known I'd snag Zurreal on my next hunt, I would have waited to post.
Uh, I caught Zurreal!
8:15 am - Crystal Library
I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 1 lb. 7 oz. Zurreal the Eternal worth 79,000 points and 36,000 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot:
1 Reaper's Perch Blueprints
Woot! I did look up the recipe for Reaper's Perch online just now and I need 6 of those chunky stones that I posted a couple pages back. So there's no way I can afford that trap right now. I figured that would happen when I crafted the Cackle Lantern, but that's ok.
Back in the Muridae Market farming Papyrus AND gold. Will probably move to the Warpath later today as I think I can make a lot more money there These Wealth Charms should come in handy now.
Good luck on catching your next mouse DiGs!
I can't believe that you got that many library points so quickly
Yeah, I just ran the Furoma assignment over and over again using Maki. It usually took me less than a day per assignment, and they were worth 90 points a piece.
That Reaper's Perch is INSANE in all aspects! Insanely overpriced, insanely powerful, insanely cool. . . . .
If I want to craft it, I actually have all of the ingredients (save for the blueprint, droid parts and metamorphic rocks). I've got tons of onyx stones laying around (which is way helpful).
I wonder how this thing would do in the Seasonal Garden. . .
EDIT:
The only thing left for me is a

Well, I decided to forget about Dojo for a bit. I headed to the Meditation room with what Shusheese (12), Glutter (12), and Combat (7) cheese I have left from before. I will get as many shards as possible with those pieces of cheese, craft some Rumble cheese with them, and then try to get the Onyx stone to drop quickly from the Master of the Dojo in the Pinnacle Chamber.
If that fails ... well, it's back to the drawing board. After I complete that, ^^^ I plan to head back to the Mousoleum and try to build up enough gold to buy the Obelisk of Slumber so I can hunt in the Catacombs. I currently have 137,500 gold and I need 316,350.
I finished my acrostic assignment! Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!!
And I am totally in love with my current library assignment: (Oh, and I'm done with spoilers. . . )
Catch 10 mice in the SG using a tactical trap
Catch 10 mice in the SG using a luck charm
Catch 3 Firefly Mice using the HVMT
Catch 3 Monarch mice with a tactial trap
Catch 1 Summer Mage mouse
I love the fact that there is so much overlap. Using my luck charms, with HVMT, I can work on all of these at the same time. WOOT
EDIT: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I had filled my amplifier up to about 70%, and went to cape clawed to buy more cheese. However, upon returning, I accidently travelled to the tower rather than to the garden. . . . . . now I'm back at 0. *whines*
I was setting myself up to fill up before fall comes. . . now

Ugh.... I did that once, but my amplifier wasn't that high. That stinks. How are you coming on your assignment? Maybe you can finish it up and grab another Seasonal Garden assignment before you max out your amplifier?
I will get as many shards as possible with those pieces of cheese, craft some Rumble cheese with them, and then try to get the Onyx stone to drop quickly from the Master of the Dojo in the Pinnacle Chamber.
How's it going?
Well, yesterday I had the best run of Papyrus collecting I've ever had. I'm currently up to 48 total. I moved back to the Warpath last night and finished it up (I didn't realize how close I was to finishing!) Gonna stick around til I hit 52 and then I'll move back to the Warpath again. I think I can make more gold there.
Totally nuts... my current assignment requests for 15 archer mice in the training grounds. I hunted with ZLM and ZFM for over 36 hours. I think I caught 1. I switched to Rewers and I've caught another 10 in about 14 hours. lol.
I will get as many shards as possible with those pieces of cheese, craft some Rumble cheese with them, and then try to get the Onyx stone to drop quickly from the Master of the Dojo in the Pinnacle Chamber.
How's it going?
Good! I got enough shards to craft nine pieces of Rumble cheese. The first blow of the horn in the Pinnacle Chamber, I caught the Master of the Dojo and he dropped the Onyx Stone! I haven't decided yet if I'll use up my Rumble Cheese and try to get more Onyx stones to use for other things or if I'll head to the Mousoleum before I'm off to class so I can hunt there all day.
I just need a summer mage mouse to finish my assignment. So I should finish it soon.
After that, I'm going to try to do another SG task, but in order to fill my amplifier quickly, I've been using my amplifier charms. Got it back up to 30% (almost)
Also, I bought my first metamorphic rock. 5 more to go. (I really wanna be able to craft that trap ASAP )

I caught the Master of the Dojo
Congrats!!
Also, I bought my first metamorphic rock. 5 more to go. (I really wanna be able to craft that trap ASAP )
Which reminds me, I need to go snag those 6 Onyx Stones since I used all of mine up in the Onyx Mallet Trap. That's ok though cause in this case, I have all the Rumble cheese I need and those Mojo mice are worth $$$. I'm back up to 1mil gold again.
So I reached Knight yesterday or the day before. I'm in the Training Grounds, hunting with Brie cheese, Mutated Venus and Bacon Base. Seems to be doing an OK job, but I'm getting nowhere fast. Advice, please?
"To the Great Western Wood, I give you...."
Hey EtJ! Congrats on Knight! There is absolutely nothing left for you in the Training Grounds, so I wouldn't waste any more time there unless you need to buy something from the General Store. The Dojo is where you want to be so you can catch Students.
Taking a peek at the mice you've caught your next step is to catch the Masters in the Meditation Room. Here are the recipes for the three cheeses you need to make for there...
Master of the Fang Requires Combat Cheese
http://mhwiki.hitgrab.com/wiki/index.php/Crafted_cheese#Combat
Master of the Belt Requires Glutter Cheese
http://mhwiki.hitgrab.com/wiki/index.php/Crafted_cheese#Glutter
Master of the Claw Requires Sucheese
http://mhwiki.hitgrab.com/wiki/index.php/Crafted_cheese#Susheese
And finally, once you get those three mice out of the way, you'll want to snag the Master of the Dojo in the Pinnacle Chamber with Rumble Cheese.
http://mhwiki.hitgrab.com/wiki/index.php/Crafted_cheese#Rumble
Make sure you use a Tactical Trap or you won't catch anything. Good luck!
ETA: I just noticed that you don't have the Ambush Trap yet. You'll have to catch one of each Master in the Meditation Room before you can get it, but it's definitely an upgrade from the Mutated Venus Mouse Trap. And you'll want to craft it before going after the Master of the Dojo.

Uhh. . . what?!?! When did that happen? I thought you weren't going to craft that thing. What changed your mind.
I finished my seasonal garden assignment, and started another one. This one is even easier than before
Catch 10 mice in the SG using a tactical trap
Catch 10 mice in the SG using a luck charm
Catch 3 Firefly mice using HVMT
Catch 3 Stinger Mice
Catch 3 Monarch Mice using a tactical trap.
Not too shabby. Should have this one wrapped up before the end of tomorrow.
Any ways, up to 390 library points (this quest should take me up to 470). Amplifier is back up to 45%

I think I posted it three pages ago? It's in spoilers so that's probably how it got missed. I decided to go ahead and go for it cause I figured if they continue to add more assignments like that in the future I'd be prepared. And I had most of the materials for it anyways, so I figured why not?
Ironically I think as a lot of people complained about the trap-specific assignments, they were removed as I'm not seeing you and Kat get trap-specific assignments anymore. Just "Catch X number of mice with a tactical trap." as opposed to "Catch 15 Student of the Fang Mice with Zugzwang's First Move". Go figure.
I know the one where you suddenly had to have the Aqua Base in the middle of a Tower run was removed.

Nice!
Well, I think that that's probably for the best. I never even purchased ZLM (save for when I crafted ZFM). If they want to have a trap spepcific assignment, they need to make it with a trap or a base that EVERYBODY has. ZFM would be okay because everybody gets that at some point (unless they try to make it through the tower with HVMT which would be suicidal). At any rate, that's enough of a rant for me .
I just need another stinger mouse to complete this assignment. Who knows what I'll do after that .
I really wish there was a catacombs assignment, because I could really do with some more gold. I'm still trying to get those 6 metamorphic rocks (I've only got the one), but I'll probably have my second by the end of the week. I contemplated saving up for my spellbook base, but I'm still more than 10,000,000 points away from being able to craft it. I'll definitely have my Reaper's Perch before that
FK why are you still hunting in the library if you've finished everything in there? Are you just doing it because it's fun (which, admittedly, it is ). I think that this may be my new favourite area in the game, because these assignments are awesome (and have nice rewards too )

I'm.... not. Haven't been there for a couple days. Did I typo somewhere? Or is the game bugging out again? I've been in Muridae Market and the Fiery Warpath. Oh, and the Pinnacle Chamber getting my Onyx Stones.
